Taelos swung his swords in a protective circle shielding him from oncoming attacks from nearby orcs. His metal boots dug into the dirt making his stance more stable he twisted his body slightly allowed one of his swords to cut the neck of a charging orc. He then ducked avoiding a blow to the head and upkicked the orc's sword and stabbed one of his swords through the orc's chest.
Many years ago from the beggining of time the orcs and humans have been feuding. Their differences led to fighting, one side only wanted land and power, and the other side fought to protect it. Humans against orcs, a duel to the death between the two races.
Taelos lunged at an approaching orc tearing it's throat from it's body. Blood stained his swords along with his gleaming armor, which no longer gleaming. The jagged edge of his gaunlet blockee. d a rugged orcish battleaxe then pressed it out. He slid toward the orc slicing his ankle then stabbing him through the throat. Taelos side stepped another swing from an axe then grabbed it breaking it with his knee. He then grabbed the upper half with the blade and flung it into the face of the orc. Taelos smirked under his helmet.
The great leader of the Human race tried to offer the Orcs a peice treaty which was rudely turned away from the leader of the Orcish race. All the Orcs wanted was power and land, which the Humans refuse to give up without a fight first. This made the Orcish leader absolutely furious, and without thinking he declared war on all of the Human race. The Humans were already prepared for this and easily defened against the Orc invasion.
A group was made to protect all of the Human camps, fortresses, and castles. This group was named The White Guard. They were scattered all across the Human territory to protect against the hordes of Orcs, and whatever else what may have tried to cross the borders.
Taelos pulled out a bow on a few stray archers that remain after the main battle was over. He noticed an orc chieftain on the walls and sprinted toward the nearest boarding ladder. He quickly climbed up the ladder and sprinted full force towards the chieftan. The chieftan noticed him and swung his sword at him nearly hit Taelos. Taelos swiftly ducked dodging the blow and swung his duel swords at the orcs knees, the orc responded by a kick in the face knocking Taelos back. He quickly got back to his feet and stabbed both swords through the orc's chest. He then took them out slowly and shook them getting a little bit of the blood off.
Taelos is one of the only left White Guards out there he is one of the only hopes for the Human race.
Taelos brushed the blood off of his armor and walked to the castle courtyard to meet the townsfolk and tell them they are now completely safe, for now. He walked through the yard crunching weeds and leaves as he went, blood stained the ground as orc bodies lay on the cold hard ground. He shook his head in disguist of the horid monsters and kicked one rolling it's head down the gravel path.

The previous 'lord of the first' sat in the circle the White Guard had managed to some how trap him in. The only reason they hadn't banished him was he had agreed to be their 'weapon' for when times were too rough for them. He was their weapon of destruction. And as such he happily awaited the day they would release him for the slaughter. In the several years he had been waiting he had slowly raised the heat in the room to be the equivalent of mid summer year round, but in the summer the room was nearly unbearable. Unless you like the heat as much as he does, because then it is very comfortable.
