A few things before we get started... please keep the RP in the direction it's intended to go. Unnecessary drama will be dealt with and shut down if deemed necessary by me, so..er. please avoid it. This is supposed to be a light-hearted hang-out spot, essentially. Also, please avoid one-liners. Give someone else a chance...y'know?
Also, anyone who simply enters is a customer. Sarah runs the cafe alone, with occasional help from her father, also played by myself
K. That's all for now.
Downtown Cafe
Downtown Cafe is a small bakery-like shop located in one of the most urban and busiest parts of the city. Slightly hidden between the busy streets and it's tall neighbours, you'd expect this small shop to get lost within the daily life. However, it's almost if it's the centre of attention.
The cosy place had been open since 2006, with it's founder, Sarah's Father, unable to continue due to illness. Now she runs it alone, and is delighted to make people smile with her baked goods.
This morning, Sarah had been in there since around 5A.M...cleaning. She scrubbed down the floors, counters, tables and chairs. The entire place was spotless just as it was every morning. She stood back, slightly out of breath from running around, and admired her work. She wiped her forehead, sighing softly. Another day....
Sarah is shorter than average for a teenager, standing at a height of 5 feet 5 inches. She weighs around 87lbs.
Her skin is very pale, clinging tightly to her skin to preserve and protect. Slight flushes of red graced her skin in certain places, such as her cheeks, her elbows, and her knees. These places were also locations of the most distinguishable of her freckles, splattered randomly over the bridge of her nose, her kneecaps, and both the outside and the inside of her elbows. Her complexion is fair, only a single rough coarseness running down the scar on her neck. The skin there is pale; a clear indication of an experiment gone wrong; a surgery of repair. The skin there is also cold, unlike the warmth the rest of her body provided the girl with. It goes from just behind her earlobe to her left collarbone.
Her eyes are large and full of what is left of her innocence. Her orbs are tinted a paled (saturated) red due to her coloured contacts, dulling out the small sparkles that were once located inside. Despite having coloured contacts, they contribute 0% to her actual vision. She wears prescription glasses all the time. They are large and round, and have a thin, metal, silver frame. On this silver frame are intricate little patterns of flowers and leaves, however these often go unnoticed due to the small and thinness of the frame itself.
Her hair is a deep, chocolate brown, and when it's fully let loose it hangs down to her butt. It looks soft and voluminous, but feels even softer when you run your fingers through these silky locks. She has two little space-buns sat on top of her head as well, which fit her aesthetic nicely. Some parts of her hair can often look slightly golden in the sun. She has two pieces of hair at the front out of her buns to frame her face, as she dislikes having her entire face on show without something in front of it, like her hair.
On this particular day, unlike her usual attire, she wore a loose, white tank top, hanging off her body due to it being a hot summer. Despite her skinny appearance, she didn't lack muscle. The muscle on her legs and arms were evident, her arm muscles flexing slightly as she ran a hand through her hair. She wore a pair of blue, skinny, largely ripped jeans, along with her brown Nike trainers, that were thick-soled. She wore her signature necklace, which was a single black thread with an ancient, pink crystal attached firmly to it.
She strolled over to the door, unlocking it and flipping the sign to Open. By now it must've been around 9A.M, usual opening time...so she was content with opening.
"Another day..." She mumbled to herself, jumping behind the counter in the centre of the room and beginning to fix herself her own cup of choco. "All for dad." She smiled slightly, sighing softly as she closed her eyes peacefully for a moment. She felt a slight breeze flow through the open window which made her shudder, and she took peace in the silence.

Lemon let out several small as she stepped out of her SUV and started to walk towards the door of the cafe. Lemon couldn’t decide if the hangover or her her broken heart was worse. Finally she decided the hangover was deadlier this morning but with a sigh she reminds herself that’s what she get for trying to forget about an ex standing at the other end of the bar all night.
Her long blonde hair is piled into a bird like nest on the top of her head while her normally glowing emerald eyes are shielded by large aviator sunglasses. Small black running shorts, crocs and an old sweatshirt cup to a crop top length finish of her outfit.
Finally Lemon makes it to the counter where she just stares at the board for a bit like she would really ever order anything different. She’s been buying the same thing for a year now. “Good morning Sarah, can I get a skinny caramel macchiato and one chocolate croissant“ she dogs in her bag pulling out her wallet and pays the nice girl.
As she waits for her order lemon meanders toward a large arm chair to read some of her new book and decompress from last night.

As the small bell above the door pinged upon the entrance of the blonde girl, Sarah immediately looked up from her cup of hot choco and in her direction. She waited quietly for a word to escape the woman's mouth before she nodded. She was about to say the same price it had always been, but when she looked up the money was already on the counter and she smiled a little. She put the money away and got a cup out, immediately beginning to prepare the drink.
She clicked her fingers once to herself and pulled out a small plate, carefully grabbing a napkin and picking up a croissant with it and setting it on the place, taking away the napkin. She then got a new one and neatly folded it on the side in a triangle. She then went back to preparing the drink, which was done in a short amount of time, with the same amazing quality it had always had. She grabbed both things carefully and strolled over to the arm chair the woman was sat in and set it down on a table next to it. "Enjoy~"
