Hello! Okay, so. When I very first got on this site, I started a group by complete accident. I pressed ‘launch chat’ without even really understanding that it meant that anyone could join. But oh my lord did that group blow up! It was so fun and so amazing that I really would like to do it again! Of course, because of me being new and not knowing what all this site was capable of, I didn’t really enforce the rules as much as I should have and the chat was deleted. So, to prevent that, I’d like for you to read these rules, then PM me if you’d like to join this group. These rules are here for a reason, so please read them.
Apocalypse RP Rules
1.) This is a GROUP roleplay. Don’t use harsh language like the F-bomb. Replace them with something more friendly.
2.) Do NOT control others characters, force other characters, or ‘God-mode’ or whatever you call it. Which means, No rape, No forced fights.
For example: Luke would punch his opponent’s chest, despite it being covered with armor, it would break through and impale him despite not having any enhancement, or claw on him.
3.) Don’t meta game. Meta gaming is when a player applies out of character retrieved information to their in-character, such as having information that only several in-character players know, and you obtained it without having your character there, or by just hearing it from others out of character.
4.) No Mary-sues. This is when a character is too perfect. Everyone has flaws. For example, my character, Jordyn, has ADHD. A mental disability that can and will get in her way sometimes.
5.) Characters CAN die! If you’re planning on leaving this group or you plan on putting a different character in, you can let your character die. But put detail in it. Don’t just put flat out, “Maridith slumps to the ground, her last breath escaping her lips in one last and unsuccessful attempt at life.” Give reason.. Give detail.
6.) Don’t mix IC with OOC in this. I can make a group PM with all the members of the group, but just so it won’t get confusing.
7.) No sexual scenes. Either FTB (Fade To Black) or PM the other person. (Not on the OOC chat)
8.) Lastly, HAVE FUN! Let your creativity flow.
Exceptions
Roleplaying is about creativity and while these rules are not just needed they can at times during very deep and important roleplay points be a bit constricting. That being said, like many things in life the rules of roleplay are not the be-all and end-all. It takes skill and knowledge to know when one can bend one of the above rules to affect a role-play in a positive manner, this is usually done in small groups where the people involved know what they are getting into and are okay with it. This takes a long time to understand and should only be attempted by advanced role-players.
Always keep in mind that the purpose of roleplaying online is to have fun - for everyone, not just yourself.

Jordyn’s body slumped with exhaustion as she leaned against a tree. She felt her lungs burning.. craving for air. She had run for no one knows how long, and she still could not escape what she had just seen.. hundreds upon hundreds of walkers.. running, walking, even crawling toward her.. Goosebumps formed on the young woman’s skin as she recalled the moment.. A horde big enough to engulf a small town.. Capable of giving the worst of nightmares to children.. Swallowing her fear, she began to run again, her backpack’s weight feeling like it was getting heavier and heavier with each mile she’d run. Some of her hair stuck to her forehead as sweat formed, but she didn’t let any of that slow her down.. She needed to get as far away from this horde as possible..
After a while, a small town came into view. Houses lined up beside the roads. Of course these houses looked horrible and unkept, but it was shelter.. Jordyn jogged up to the first house she saw. Jiggling the doorknob, it was locked. She ran her fingers through her damp hair and went to another house. Again, locked. “What the hell..” she murmured in slight frustration. Paranoid, she looked toward where she had come from.. How fast was that horde? When was she gonna die...?

Kuro was in one of the broken houses, due to him breaking down the door. Though...it might make some noise, he managed to close it to the point where it looks closed. But that doesn't stop people from attempting to open the door. Yet again, he doesn't care about it. He has a bed to lay down on that was upstairs, about two days of food, and an old bike that could help him. When he got up he saw someone trying to get in the houses. You could jump the fences, but you know, your choice to do so
However, what made him change his mind was that he saw a herd.Jesus...There must be hundreds....no thousands.Kuro then thought about and he immediately hated the idea he had.If she robs me, I have the right to shoot.Going down the stairs, he looked as if he was having a bad hair day. He opened the door and shouted, "If you want to live, then come here!"Her choice if she wants to live though, not mine.A

Kyle had moved into the house he was living in a couple of months ago. He had been so happy to find the little community and felt that he had picked the right house. the guy that lived here was named Steve and apart from being a packrat was also a prepper. He had stockpiled foods that would keep for a long time and stored various other supplies. Steve had kept a daily journal. Some of it was just crazed rantings about how his neighbors were out to get him and others were more like a how-to guide for surviving the end of times. However, the thing Steve had not planned for was that he would be one of the infected. The first thing Kyle did when he went into the house was killing zombie Steve. He buried Steve in the back yard after covering the body with Lye. The house was pretty well-fortified and Kyle only left the house when he had to scavenge. He was starting to become a shut-in for the and had seen some people come and go from the other houses. He didn't think much of it when he heard someone pounding on doors and then he looked into the distance and saw the horde.
The old Kyle would have helped someone in need but he had been burned before and almost got caught by a pack of slavers once. He watched to see what would happen and someone open the door of another house and call to the newcomer. Now all he had to worry about was the oncoming horde. "When it rains it pours," he said in a low deep voice.

Jordyn felt herself continue to grow more and more panicked. She didn’t know how fast the horde was, but she didn’t want to keep running.. and she didn’t want to die. She knew that if she didn’t find an unlocked house here soon, she was going to have to start running again.. Her heart pounded wildly in her chest, her breathing raggedy as she continued to panic. But what made her stop her every movement, even stop breathing for a few seconds, was the sound of a voice.. was she going insane?? Looking around, she finally noticed someone in the doorway of a house..
The young woman looked back at where she had come from, then at the man. She really had no other option.. she could keep running, but she was exhausted.. Breaking into a jog, the blue eyed girl made her way to the house that the man was in. She went inside and quickly pulled her mask off, making it easier for her to breathe. “Thank you..” She murmured, before going to a window. Looking out of it, she could barely see the horde, but she still had that feeling of panic.. of dread...

After he saw her go into the house Kyle went back to check on his defenses. The first step was to make sure all the doors were locked and secured. Aside from the deadbolt each door had a locking bar. The windows had bars on the outside and if the guy that lived here before had not gotten sick and turned into a zombie Kyle probably would not have gotten into the house at all. There were guns placed all around the house as well as machetes axes and even a couple of swords. The basement had been set up as a shelter and had a heavy-duty metal door. If the worst-case scenario were to happen and the zombies were to get inside he could always go there and hope for the best. Grabbing a shotgun that had a drum magazine he went back upstairs to check on the horde. they were still a good distance away but getting closer. In the end, all he could do was wait and see what happens. Taking a look around Kyle couldn't help but wonder how many of the other houses had people living in them and hoped they made it through this okay. A small part of him couldn't help but wonder what it was like to live here before the world went down the drain.
Kallen narrowed her glistening green orbs down toward the oncoming horde of hundreds- possibly thousands- of rotting but walking undead shuffling their way across the streets a small distance away. As large as the group was, no worries crossed the girl's mind for even a heartbeat. Why worry? To her knowledge the undead couldn't walk up a flight of stairs very fast, let alone 23 flights of stairs, nor could they bust through a locked metal door that just so happened to be barricaded with barrels of hardening tar. But hell, what the hell does she know. Kallen placed her head onto the palm of her left hand thoughtfully as her other hand played with the rusty roof drain pipe, a light hum escaping her.
It's been a while since I last seen a walker..., Kallen ruefully considered for a moment. The young woman had gone around the apartments floors killing off whoever was left still...wandering...about. To clear out all 23 floors took a little over a week to accomplish with breaks for nourishment and necessities during the whole thing. It exhausted her completely, but so far it has proved to have been the best decision she's made thus far. Besides the fact that food was dangerously low and it had been a full day since she last had something to drink, it was safe up here. Though Kallen figured that it couldn't last forever.
Movement faster than the regular slow-pace walkers caught her attention and she brought her head back up to get a better view. A survivor from the looks of it, someone in panic. No doubt from the rather threatening loom of doom coming their way. The red-head pressed her lips together; It's been a while since I last seen a person. She figured that everyone in this area was already dead, one way or another. It put a nervous flutter in her stomach to see another human being and Kallen considered catching the attention of whoever it was down there- but someone beat her to it. To the Irish woman's complete astonishment, another survivor poked themselves through the door of a- previously abandoned- home, and the two persons were gone from sight once more.
Kallen almost laughed out loud. There's no way...she hadn't been hiding out here that long but...there's no way that someone...no. Could it really be...? The green-eyed girl let out a puff of disbelief before tiredly bringing herself to her feet and cracking the bones in her back and knees. Spinning on her heel, with a smile gracing her face, she began to stride to the metal door keeping her safe.
"Time to meet the neighbors."

Kuro would see the girl run in and would nod to see that she is well even though she's overwhelmed. Kuro decided to check on the herd. And when he did he wasn't surprised that they weren't here yet. Good, he needed to prepare anyway. He would walk up the stairs and put on his holsters, which allowed him to carry two weapons, one on his back and the other on his sides. He grabbed an R29 Crossbowthat hold four bolts then the usual three, with one on the drawer next to the bed. He loads it, making a click sound as the string is drawn back. For the secondary arm, it's an 1887. He then grabbed a 1911and an Mp5.He also grabbed a couple of clips, filled with ammo.
Going back downstairs he would see that she is mostly paranoid. Which then again is normal. They're going to face a herd when they like or not. He would put his hand on her shoulder and showed her the guns that were now hers. Then he grabbed one of the couches and started pushing it to the front of the door, making much noise during the process. Then went into the chimney entrance and grabbed two machetes in their sheaths, one looking like a Swordand the other looking like an over-sizedknife, but both are still effective, and when putting the looking like a knife, yet again, still effective, he said, "Think you can help me prepared for the herd?"He was saying this because if she didn't want to due to her looking quite stressed,he could still prepare on his own.
