After a call from Josh Randall had slid down the ladder and trotted up to Jacob, his nose twitching from the scent of smoke and alcohol. "So that's where you guys went."
Josh gave a hand signal to his brother- a point and a circle with two fingers. Randall returned it with a nod and walked next to Jacob while Josh looked up at Corinth.
"What's next?"

"What's next?"
"Lets find out, eh?" Corinth took Josh behind Jacob to talk about medical stuff, while Jacob took Randall. They would begin the training.
"Randall, you can borrow my gun for now. But later, you will get your own gun, and a Thompson. I'll use my Thompson, but lets start. So, what is the first thing about sniping?" Jacob grabbed his Thompson, Gods Warrior, and held it tight. He had a scope on top for sniping, and modified it so that it would rather accurate.

"Well," Randall began slowly, "cover would be important, I'd think. What's the point of sniping if they're just going to take you out in a few minutes anyways? Defeats the whole purpose of stealth kills."
"Silence is actually the first point. See, if you are silent, you don't need cover. If you have cover, you need to be silent, though. That is why I have silencers. So I'm not seen or heard. Now, what's the second one?" Jacob smiled. This kid thought well.
He thought for a moment.
"You've gotta have a good vantage point- good sights, I guess you could say. Otherwise you can't bump off the people you're targeting and you want to make sure you're shooting the right people. That would be hard to explain otherwise."

"True, but sights aren't always good. I can snipe a person with Iron Sights of my .50 revolver. That doesn't mean I should, but I still can. What you are getting at here is LoS, no? Line of Sight."
"Yeah, that. I was getting to that, I just couldn't phrase it right."
"So, now that you have the two points down, why not give it a try? Hit that can over on that tree," Jacob had his Thompson ready to shoot the other one on the left branch, and he would show how good he was.
Randall looked at the can a moment, then shifted the sniper rifle to his shoulder and took a look through the scope. Taking a deep breath and getting accustomed to the weight of the gun, he fired.
A piece of bark next to the can came off and he reloaded quickly- the can came down in the next shot.
"Eh," was all Randall said, slightly annoyed with himself.

Jacob put the gun up to his face, and fired the second he got the can in sight. It flew off, dead center. He knew some tricks. Then he fired again, and shot it in midair.
"Don't wait. You aim, and the second you get it in sight, fire. Hold your breath while aiming, though. Helps,"

"Alright. There more cans somewhere or are we gonna have to replace them? 'Cause, uh, I'm tall but I can't exactly reach that high."
"A hundred of these cans are all over the place. Go find them, and you have 200 rounds left. I'll be checking on Josh, but I'll be back. Enjoy," And Jacob walked off to see what Josh was doing. As far as he was concerned, Josh was doing fine. And he watched him work with Corinth.
Randall shrugged and slung the rifle across his shoulder, padding off silently to go find the other hundred cans.
Josh was pacing in front of Corinth commiting things to his capable memory. It was a little strange since he walked with a limp, but it was something he always did when he was deep in thought.

"I probably could fix that limp of yours," Corinth said, taking notice to the limp. He had seen worse things happen after injuries, and he supposed he might be able to fix it.
"What, this? This happened a year or two ago, it's already healed," Josh told him, lifting his jeans leg to show him the scars. "I think I'm always gonna walk with a limp for the rest of my life, unless there's some way to fix it nobody but you knows about."
"If you have a limp, it didn't heal correctly. In other words, it needs to be fixed, and I don't know whether or not you want it fixed," Corinth took a look at the leg. If there was a bone that didn't heal right, he wouldn't touch it. But if it was anything else, he might be able to fix it.
"Well," he said as he sat down to think, "I remember the jaws of the thing bit down to the bone, gave it more of a splintering kind of break, I think. The muscle got shredded up pretty good where the teeth things went in and I think it even got ripped off the bone at certain parts... I don't remember a whole lot except that it hurt like hell and it was really really cold so I almost froze to death there in the snow." He traced the scars with a finger, studying his leg.
Corinth opened his mouth, and put out his tongue. Then he pointed into his mouth and made a gagging noise, before shaking his head. He had seen worse, but while they were showing scars... He lifted up his shirt, pointing to ten bullet hole scars in his gut, and three in his chest.
"See those? I got those my first day. Little buggers shot me up like hell,"

Josh winced sympathetically at the scars, resisting the urge to reach out and feel them. "That musta hurt... Got lucky, didn't you?"
"Go ahead. You can touch them. Yeah, they hurt a helluva lot. But ask Jacob about HIS scars. He's got some nasty ones," Corinth said, and gave him a moment to feel the scars. They did feel weird, and thank god they didn't hurt.
"Oh yeah, Coor's right. I got some u-u-ugly ones here," And Jacob smiled, looking at them.
