"You won't tell me yet?" She made a sad face. "That's not fair. Is it that bad? Or you're just trying to be mysterious?" She almost bumped into another person but this time, she was able to move aside to avoid the crash.

Max was ready to help her as well when she almost bumped into someone. "I like to be mysterious." And he wasn't sure if it was 'that bad'. People had different reactions to it. "Let me know when you get tired and want to take a break."

"That's mean, but okay, you can tell me when you want to." She started spinning in one place with her arms spread and closed her eyes for a moment. "I'm not tired yet! This is so fun!"

Max chuckled a bit and smiled at her. "Careful, you don't want to fall down. And I'll tell you. Sometime." He shrugged and kept skating around, glancing at her. "So is this a good date so far?" He smirked a little.

She stopped moving and shook her head to clear from all the spinning. "Yes, sure. I've never really dated anyone before." She admitted crossing her arms. "I don't have anything to compare it to, except for movies, which is kinda sad."

Max stopped and stared at him. "You've NEVER been on a date before??" Oh great. And he was her first date. "Amy..." he grumbled quietly. "She must be insane to pair me up as your first date." He sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Well,no. No one is interested in getting the blind girl's hopes up." Faye said rather sadly. "Amy was smart enough to look for someone who didn't know me." She sighed. "One freaked out when I asked him what does the sun look like."

Max smirked. "The sun sucks, honestly. It's big and bright and hurts your eyes. You're not really missing out on that." He HAD told her he was more nocturnal, so this was to be expected from him. "How about we take a break and get something from the food stand?"

(I'm gonna scoot off to bed, super tired. I'll respond tomorrow!)

"Really? It feels nice on the skin for me." She nodded at his question and "Yeah, let's go to eat something. It's still early. Oh no, Amy is going to want to hear everything about this tomorrow."

Max chuckled slightly. "Yeah, she is. But we don't have to tell her anything." He carefully left the rink with her and went over to the food stand. "So what would you like?" He looked at the menu they'd hung up, trying to decide what would best help his appetite.

Faye followed him and took a look at the menu. "Hmmm Those sandwiches look good, I'll take one, and a soda." She started humming the melody of the song that was playing, swaying a little.

Max gave her order, then asked for a burger for himself. He slipped the cashier some extra money to make it a rare burger. Once their food was delivered, he gave her her things, took his own, and went to sit down. "They have some pretty good stuff here."

"They do." She said sitting down next to him and eating her sandwich. "Do you go to school, Max? If you do, something tells me we might go to the same one. I just never saw you, you know why."

Max nodded a bit. "I think so. If you go to Amy's school, we have. It's no surprise if I haven't seen you. I don't pay much attention in school, and I don't go every day. But I'm really good with my grades so they can't kick me out or anything." He ate his food contently.

"Yeah, we go to the same school then. I have big test on monday, now that I remember." She finished her sandwich and just then, there was announcement that it was couple skating time. "Want to go?"

Max sighed. "I hate tests. They're so boring." When she asked about skating for the couples thing, he nodded and got up. "Sure." He took her hand and went back out with her to the rink.

"It's a chemistry test, which is bad because I don't understand anything." She laughed and looked around at the other people. "I used to create whole choreographies with my dad here."

Max had a flirty line flit through his mind, but he held it back in favor of not creeping her out. "Really? That sounds like fun, I guess." He wasn't so sure about the whole 'parent' thing, seeing as his weren't around.

"It was, until he no longer cared about that kind of stuff." She sighed and shook those thoughts away, smiling again. "Do you have any idea of how to dance on ice? I think I can remember a thing or two."

"I may be graceful, but I'm not that graceful." He chuckled a bit. He noticed her comment about her father not caring about those things, but decided to let it go. No need to bring up painful memories from the past on the first date.
