Max smiled a little, looking up at the setting sun. He had no idea she was scared of the dark. He just figured she preferred the daytime because there was so much more to see. Many humans didn't quite like the dark. However, his attention was taken from the sky when she spoke of him not getting upset. He looked to her right away. "...I promise. What do you need to tell me, Faye?"

(Lol!! That would be my fault, sorry!!)
((No worries! I just remembered it!))
"Well," she started, fidgeting with her free hand. "Umm... Do you remember that boy? The one I had a fake crush on?" Faye continued after making sure he was not too mad. "He's a nice person. We're... friends. Anyways, since I had nothing to do with my time for those few weeks, I joined the drama club, and he's a member too. We have an... appointment tomorrow at the coffee shop to study our lines." She stole a glance at him again.

Max frowned slightly, but listened to her. She was not getting on his good side with this news. He was not pleased with the two of them spending time alone together. He went over to get on his motorcycle with her. "...It's just the two of you? What about the rest of the club?"
Faye got on behind him, letting him drive, because there really can't be a motorcycle in the picture without her getting to wrap her arms around his middle and lean into him. Nope.
"It'll be completely normal and harmless. I just wanted to tell you there's nothing to worry about." She kissed his shoulder. "Besides, I have to figure out a way to make him forget me, since we're leaving... and I don't want him to forever be attached just because of one god's mischiefs."

Max enjoyed being so close to his girlfriend, of course. The perks of a motorcycle. He listened as she spoke, and finally he sighed. "Okay. Just be careful. Make sure the punk knows you have a boyfriend." He took them back to her house, then parked and got off. "Let me know how it goes." Did he want to go with her? Yes, absolutely. Was he going to? Nope.
She laughed it off. She was absolutely sure of what she'd say. Nothing would go wrong at all! When they got to her house, she could tell that was goodbye, though reluctant, but a goodbye nonetheless.
Faye put her hands behind her back. "I will. And I was thinking... maybe tomorrow, after the appointment, we could go to your house, and cook something for dinner? We may need some more normal time together, you know, like we did today. And school doesn't count." She felt like everything had been in a rush before he left. If they failed to find away for her to live forever, then she wanted to live each and every second with a welcoming smile.

Max took her in his arms and gave her a hug. "That sounds great, Faye. Give me a call and I'll come pick you up, okay?" He glanced towards the house, then leaned in and gave her a quick peck. "I'll see you soon. Goodnight, Faye." He touched her cheek, then pulled away and got back on his bike.
Nodding, she smiled just when he kissed her. Her parents had come to terms with their relationship. It amused her that he was nervous about them watching. "Night." Faye waited outside for a moment after he'd left to walk in. Everything was okay. She hadn't seen anything crazy that day.
Unfortunately, he was not at school the next day. Faye would hear all the rumors going around. Someone had seen him in a police car. One of the guys confitmed that his own dad had taken Max doen to the station. "I always knew he was a creep. There's nothing good about that guy. He's so awful." one of the girls said. Faye was even taken aside by the counselor, who asked her if she was dating Max because he had something on her.
Both Faye and Amy were shocked with the news. At first they hadn't really believed any of it. On several occasions, it had taken a monumental amount of willpower to keep herself from saying very, very rude stuff to some people.
At the counselor's office, Faye had been mostly quiet and calm until she was asked a question. "No, of course not. Why would you think that? What happened to him?"

The counselor hesitated. "Faye, if there's something he's holding against you, you can tell us, it's okay. This is a safe place, we won't judge you and we'll do everything we can to help you." She paused for a moment, then spoke again. "...Maximilian was taken into custody last night on assault with intent to kill. He's fairly young, so he might be charged with just assault. But he could also be charged with attempted murder. We're very worried about you, Faye. Maximilian is a troublemaker, a black sheep as it were. We don't want him pulling you astray."
Faye opened her mouth, but no sound came from it, until the counselor's words sank in. "I'm telling you, it isn't like that. If it was, I'd have told my parents and everything would be solved." Dozens of scenarios played out in her head. She had to help him and get him out from wherever he was. "That's ridicoulous. He's never done anything bad. Who did he 'attempt' to murder? Where is Max?"
The counselor sighed slightly. "I'm sorry, Faye, if you want to know more, your parents need to take you to the police station to see him. He's being held in custody there until they can get a trial for him. He's most likely going to be sent to juvie. Kids who go to juvie aren't good kids, Faye, I want you to know that." She let Faye leave.
(Chat )
She couldn't leave sooner. With a mumbled 'thanks', she went straight to the parking lot and called her parents, who, to her dismay, didn't let her leave the school. They'd go to the police station to find out what was going on, but she was to stay right where she was.

(Yesss Sorry I had to go run my sister out)
Faye's parents would be allowed to see him. They were escorted to his cell, where he was sitting on the bench. He was in the same clothes from last night. He was surprised to see them and he quickly stood. "Wh...hey! Hello, it's...it's good to see you! What are you two doing here?" He glanced behind them, wondering if Faye had come along. Then he looked back to them.
(Sorry I can't remember her last name or her parents' names )

(Hahaha it's Woods (I think ))
Faye's mother, Raven, had brought some food for him, with an added extra mixed in there. Not ont of the tastiest things she'd made, but she was sure Max would appreciate it, since he couldn't go a lot of time without blood. "We heard about what happened. Faye told us. Are you okay?"
Her husband crossed his arms. "You have a lot of explaining to do. We'd like to help you, so start now."

Max took the food. "Thank you. I'm fine, yeah." He looked alright, but he looked a bit dirty, and tired. He had obviously been in a fight, but he wasn't quite sporting bruises. "I know. And I need you to do me a favor." He sat back down, setting the food in his lap. Now wasn't quite the time for eating. "I stopped on my way home last night to...get something to eat." He was speaking softly so no one else would hear him. "I always go after crooks and criminals, never anyone innocent. I found a drug deal going down between some guys, and a fight broke out because of pricing. They were really whaling on each other. I went after the guy that was beating down the rest; I've seen it happen before, where a guy will kill the others in a fight just to keep both the money and the cocaine. Well...what I didn't know was that it was a sting. The guy I went after....he was a police officer in disguise. I started beating him up, trying to knock him out so I could eat. If I eat while they're moving they could die from my fangs tearing something. This was before I knew he was a police officer, of course. I found out when he shot me." He pulled his shirt up a little to show the wound. It was healing bit by bit. "He took me down fast after that. I was hungry, I couldn't heal fast enough." He looked up at them. "The favor I need is for you to punch me a few times. My bruises are already gone, and if I look like I haven't been in a fight, they'll know something shady is up." He sighed and shook his head. "I can pay bail, but this whole thing is going really public. I'm already trying to keep the media quiet that it was an undercover officer that I attacked, but that will get out soon enough..."
"I'll be more than happy to -"
Raven smacked her husband's arm. "You are not doing anything to the boy." She sighed, understanding the problem, but she was not going to allow more harm to come to him. "I know! What I'll do is temporary, just an illusion, alright?"
Faye's father turned around to check the police officers weren't close enough to overhear anything funny.
"You're right. More people will hear about it, which makes it even more urgent that you leave as soon as possible."

Max nodded slightly. "An illusion will work as well...thank you." He started eating, then, the pain in his stomach (from the gunshot wound) starting to get to him. "Yeah, as soon as possible. But they're talking about taking me to trial for all of this, even though I'm a minor. Which means it could take months." He paused. "...whenever this happened in the past, I snuck out and left for a new city, a new place. I can't do that now, and I just....I don't know how to get out of this clean enough to keep Faye from being marked for dating a potential murderer..."
