(Ok!)
Max hated being away from her. Even more, he hated fighting vampires. He had to let his dark side take over. For months, it was just endless violence, hunting, following clues. The hair of Faye's got lost before his first fight, and she quickly slipped from his mind while he was his darker self. Finally, the big battle came. Max came out on top, but at great cost. He was holed away to heal for nearly a month. During that month, the memory of Faye slowly started to return. How much time had passed since he left? He needed to contact her soon. But he was still too weak.

Despite her initial refusal, Faye did go to prom. She went stag with Amy and a couple of other friends she'd made. It was a fun night. She just wished Max had been there. Her parents, with the help of the child of Hermes lawyer, built a believable reason for Max to have disappeared, and the case, was , at least for now in a standby.
Faye got accepted in the college she'd applied to, deciding to major in Tourism, not for the fall semester, but for the Spring one. Amy was still undecided about what she wanted to do. For a while, she thought she might even be pregant, but after a few scary moments, she realized she wasn't. Meanwhile, they both got a job at the town's library. Not many people liked to arrange books into shelves, so it was the perfect opportunity for them. The three month limit had went by already, which made Faye worry. Was he even alive? She wondered that every day while she worked in the silent library.

(Wait wait I hit send accidentally! I'll edit)
(Done!)
Faye would come back home from work one day and find a figure sitting on her bed when she went into her room. He was looking through her photo album when she came in. His hair had gone definite white, and when he looked up his eyes were red. But as he saw her, he smiled. It was Max. "...Hey. Welcome home." He carefully set the album aside and stood up. He seemed a little...taller. Slimmer. Not thin, but slim. "...I uh, let myself in. Nobody was home."
(And unfortunately I have to go to bed! Don't know if I'll be able to post tomorrow because busy day, but if I can, I will!)

She tilted her head to a side, squinting. Her parents were on a trip to Disneyland they had won in a contest. Once she realized who she was, her eyes opened wide, and she was running towards him to wrap arms and legs around his body. "Gods, you're here! You're okay!" She almost couldn't believe it. Who cared about not arriving in time? He was there and that was all that mattered to her.

Max smiled and held her clise. She smelled wonderful. "Yeah, I'm back. Sorry it took so long." He held her tightly, then let go. "..how have you been doing?" He smiled and touched her cheek, then sat down again.
Faye sat down next to him, taking in his changes. She had not changed much, except that her hair was not as long as the last time he'd seen her. "I got a job... and I've been doing some gardening..." She reached up to ruffle his hair. "What's up with that color? What happened? Is... Is everything okay now?"
Max sighed softly. "Oh, the hair? I...I spent too much time in my True Form. Parts of it kind of stuck. But don't worry, everything is okay now. I killed the vampire that was after me. We're safe. How are things on the end of the trial?" He held her in his arms still, just glad to have returned.
"It looks like Jack Frost's. I like it." She smiled. On the back of her mind, she knew she was forgetting something, but ignored it. Faye leaned against him. Being held by someone was one of the most amazing things in the world for her, especially when that someone was Max. "At first they wanted to send dad to jail, for hiding you. But, everything turned out okay. There were some strings pulled, and some rumor days... but it's settled now. You're a free guy."
Max listened to her, holding her close. He was so glad to be back. After all he'd been through, he was glad to be back. "Really? Good, I'm glad. I wouldn't forgive myself if your father went to jail because of me. I'll need to thank them." He pausrd. "Where are they, anyways?"
"Don't worry about it." She said quickly, lifting her head to look at him. "They're in Disneyland." She smiled. "They deserved it, after all. I couldn't go because of my job. It wouldn't be fair to leave Amy all the work." Faye sighed and stole a flash kiss from him. "
Max lifted a brow. They were in the house all by themselves? And then she kissed him so quickly. Unfortunately for Faye, Max...still wasn't quite himself. It wasn't just appearances that had changed. That dark monster still lurked too close to the surface. Max wrapped his arms around her and leaned in for a slow, intimate kiss. Three months of being his True Self made him completely forget or ignore all of the rules that her parents had given him before he'd left.
Faye was taken by surprise when he leaned for another kiss, this one deeper than any other they had shared before. It was a welcome surprise, though. She was convinced it was due to having spent all that time apart, and not once did it cross her mind that the reason was something else. She answered a bit clumsily at first, but then easied into it, circling his neck with her arms.
Max put an arm around her waist, but then he moved a bit to lean against her while they kissed, easing her down onto her back on the bed while he kept with her, moving ontop of her. One hand cradled her head while they kissed, the other helped support him while he was on his knees over top of her. He let the kiss get more intimate, his hand tracing down her cheek, down her neck and along her collarbone..
She thought he'd pull away like he usually did, but instead, she found herself slowly laying back onto the matress as she also kissed him back. Faye smiled, quite enjoying the attention he was giving her, as a girl who had only seen kisses like this one in movies before. But she just had to say something. "Max? Is... Is everything okay?" Poor Faye was blushing like crazy, not sure of how to ask where this was leading.
Since she had broken the kiss to speak, Max started pressing kisses to her neck. He let his fangs touch gently against her skin, but in no way get close to piercing. "Wonderful." he answered in a seductive whisper. His hand didn't stop at her collarbone, though. He was definitely going farther than he'd ever gone with her before. Her parents would totally not approve of this scenario if they had been home at the moment.
Faye's heart was racing, as well as her mind. Her body was totally not agreeing with her mind in stopping the kissing. Why would it, if it felt so good? Her eyes even fluttered close again. But she found his behaviour... odd. He, who felt unconfortable even when she just sat next to him wearing a raincoat. That snapped her out of it. With amazing will power, she took her hand in his, moving her face away. "You're acting strange. What has changed?"
Max blinked when she pulled away, those red eyes staring down at her. "I'm not acting strange, Faye. This is how any man acts when they're with a woman they love. In fact, we should have done this sooner, but we never had the chance. Your parents were always around." He leaned close, his nose touching hers, his hand squeezing hers gently. "Don't you want to know what all the lore about women sleeping with vampires is all about? Don't you want to learn what the appeal is?" he whispered tantalizingly. He leaned in, lips pressing against her ear. He lowered his body to press slightly against her. "I can show you.." he whispered.
Faye chuckled nervously, reassured just the tiniest bit by the gentle squeeze of her hand. It was a familiar gesture. "I... Well, yeah, but it's... don't you think it's a bit sudden?" The girl had no idea how to phrase what she wanted to say in a way that would make her hesitance clear without possibly hurting his feeling or anything. "Before... it never seemed like you were very interested in that. Even when we were alone," she pointed out, and realized she couldn't really sit up. Her hands went to his chest to hold him back. She was not doing anything with him until she fully understood what on earth had gotten into him. Was it just wild monkey boy lust? Huh. She had no idea.
