(Wild monkey boy lust... XDD)
Max chuckled softly. "Faye..." he whispered. "I've wanted this for longer than you've known..." His hand went down to her hip and slipped under the hem of her shirt, cool fingers touching the skin of her stomach. "I was too weak to accept the desire. But now, I embrace it. And I'll give you a night so good that you will beg me for more. And we will. Your parents are gone. We'll have the time of your life every night. Cupid will seem like a pathetic little boy compared to how I'll make you feel." His words were whispered in a deep, seductive voice and his hand moved upwards, pulling her shirt up with it. This was definitely not like the Max she knew.
(Don't worry he won't get farther than this xD)

(Hahaha praise Jennifer Armentrout for that phrase. Her book had me cracking me up when I read it because it's perfect )
Her eyes widened with each word that came out of his mouth. Dear gods, who was this guy, and what had he done with Max? She stiffened under his touch, something that had never happened before. She usually was conforted by it, but now it unsettled her, because she was out of her element, and confused and he just was crazy and there was no mom barging in and kicking his groin. She sighed. Okay, that was going too far. "Max, I think I understand, but if you don't stop now, I'll hit you. Are you even listening to yourself? I think you need a cold shower." She said, trying to swat his hand away. She was definetely not ready for that yet. Once she'd made that decision, it made it easier for her to reject what he was uh promising.
( Okie dokie)

Max lifted a brow. He was about to make a very suggestive comment when she swatted his hand away. Suddenly he was very close to her face, and the room seemed to darken for a moment. "I'll do what I want, mortal. If that means tying you to the bed to get what I desire then I'll do it!!" His voice had went deeper, darker, more sinister and ominous, and his red eyes swirled. Fangs showed as he spoke. But as he saw her reaction ((which I'm assuming is fear, if it's wrong tell me and I'll edit)), he cooled down. He pulled away and got up to his feet, the room returning to its normal lighting and the swirling red eyes going calm. He stood there, not looking at her, not moving. He knew what he had just said.
(Fear is fine )
Faye froze and her face became devoid of all color. His voice reminded her too much of that of the vampire that had tried to kill her. She saw his face instead of Max's and that was it for her. As soon as he let her go she closed her eyes curling up to erase that from her mind. There she was, trembling again. What she had been hiding from Max all along since the 'incident'. Of course she didn't care at that moment. She just wanted him gone. She wanted the vampire gone, and her fear didn't let her see anything else.

Max glanced back at her. He had done that. He had caused that. He knelt down by the bed, but didn't dare sit on it again. "...Faye? Faye, it's...it's me. I'm...me. You know?" He didn't touch her. He watched her, curled up in that ball and trembling. "...I...I'm sorry. It's...my other side. The vampire part of me grew stronger while I was away, trying to fight for survival. I...haven't fully reigned it in. But I really wanted to see you. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have come, I should only have sent a letter. I'm so sorry, Faye. I swear it will never happen again."
She refused to open her eyes and see the vampire again, even if it was Max's voice that spoke to her. What if the the vampire still lurked close and wanted to hurt her again? She neeeded to calm down first. "I-Is it really y-you?" Faye kept her eyes tightly shut, just too afraid to open them yet. Maybe being blind would've come in handy now. "You will not hurt me? The vampire is gone?"
Max watched her sadly. He reached over and touched a finger to her nose. "...if I hurt you, Faye, you have my complete and utter permission to drive a stake through my heart. I'm back to myself. I'm sorry. I am so sorry. More than you will ever know." He watched her. "..Let's go downstairs. I'll make some tea. How does that sound? I...I can go make it now, and you can come join me when you're ready." He sighed softly. "...I am sorry.." He stood up and went downstairs to give her space.
Faye wrinkled her nose when she touched it, recoiling more into herself. Soon, she heard his footsteps walking away. And she waited until she was properly able to analyze what had just happened. It had not been real. The vampire was dead. No one wanted to hurt her. Max had problems, it had been him, but not him. And she had flinched away from him. Faye slowly sat up, looking around and rubbing her hands to keep them from trembling. She went to the bathroom and watched her face, taking her time to dry it and get herself together before going to the kitchen. "Max?" Her voice sounded so small she almost didn't recognize it.
Max was on the phone. He had dug up the cellphone number and had called her mother. "...I know, I'm so sorry to interrupt, but...it would be best if you came back now. Right away. I just...I didn't necessarily come back with more problems, but...a new one." He sighed. "....She isn't safe with me right now. I want you home as soon as you can be. Please, Mrs. Raven. Please." He looked up when she came in. "...I have to go. See you soon." He hung up and put the phone down. "...the tea is on the table." he didn't make any move to get near her.
Faye's mother didn't need to be told twice, she was coming home.
Faye looked at the tea, and then back at Max. She wanted to say something to just close the gap, and make everything be normal again, but it was a three-month gap and she wasn't sure words would bridge it. Slowly, she walked towards him and hugged him so tightly she might have hurt anyone else who wasn't a vampire. Inmediately she knew she didn't have to be afraid of him. Max always protected her from evil things, he was not one of them.

Max tensed up when she hugged him. And then he did something that he didn't often do. He started to cry. He held her close and softly cried. "...I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..." He pulled away and sighed softly, separating himself from her completely. He rubbed his eyes and sat down to take his own cup of tea. "...your father and mother are going to kill me." He slumped on the table. "...I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
"No, no... It's... It's okay. It's okay." She leaned to kiss the top of his head. "I forgive you. I'm okay now. I... I... I should've told you before, that I keep having these flashes of that vampire. I can't get him out of my head." Faye snifled, close to crying too, but she held the tears back for his sake. Enough was enough. "Do you want cookies? I made some yesterday. I'll get the cookies." She wiped his cheeks with her thumbs and then went to the fridge. "You shouldn't have called them. I really am fine now, I swear."
Max listened to her. "...I see." It made sense. "..you should have told me." He couldn't believe she'd kept it a secret for so long. "...Okay." He watched her, then looked down at the table when she spoke of calling her parents. "...you're fine, but I'm not. I need them around. I have to keep that side of me under control. It will be more likely to behave when your parents are around because it wants to survive just as much as I do."
Faye put the plate of very cold cookies in front of him, forgetting to heat them up. Her mom would have never put them in the fridge to start with. She sat dow at the other side of the table, fidgeting. "Oh." She laughed a little. She got it. Her parents would kill him. It was lame, but she needed some humor. "I'm sorry, it's just... messed up. I'm messed up." Faye quickly drank some tea before she said something else.
Max lifted a brow and rubbed his neck. "Faye, this whole thing is messed up." He paused. "...I'm sorry. You should have gone off with a human. I shouldn't have come back. But I promised you." He leaned back and looked out the window. He wasn't hungry for cookies. "...Cupid warned me of this. A human and an immortal, or semi-immortal, like myself, getting involved. A tryst is one thing. Love, honest love, is another. It just...doesn't work out." He glanced at her. "I'm willing to do anything it takes to make this work out between us, Faye. But I won't drag you down with me..." He shook his head slightly. "I won't let you die because of me. Even if that death isn't...permanent." He refused to vamp her. There was no way he could ever give that fate to her.
Faye frowned. The cookies didn't seem all that appealing for her either, and she didn't exactly get what he meant. Was he giving up? Or trying to make her give up? Well done Faye, freak out and scared him away. She got up, setting her cup of tea on the table. "Cupid warned me too, but guess I don't care about what a stuck up god has got to say about our relationship. I... I will probably die before you do. I think it's a given." She sighed, coming to stand next to him. "So, since I'm not leaving you, the question is, if we can't solve this, will you still love me when I'm all wrinkled and can't even remember my name?"
Max glanced at him. "...you shouldn't get too close, Faye. I don't want to scare you again." He was silent as she posed her question. "..I will." he said softly. He ran a hand through his hair. He would cry every day for her and her suffering. But he would love her. He would have to pass himself off as her nephew, her grandson...because she would get older. He would age only a handful of years in her whole lifetime. Probably less, since he'd consumed so much blood over the past few months. The more blood, the more vampire he becomes, and the less he ages.
Her eyes welled again, and she held out her hand for him to take. "That's all I needed to hear." She was calmed now, and because she wanted to prove him it was all okay now, she withdrew her hand and instead, sat on his lap, just there. She was so not going to allow them to take two steps backward after having struggled to reach this point. "It's all under control?"
Max tensed up as she sat down on his lap. He put his hands on her shoulders...then lifted her up and set her on the floor. He got to his feet and walked to the other side of the room. "Faye...don't rattle the cage." He looked out the window, then looked back to her with a concerned expression. "Don't tempt the beast." He glanced out the window again. "...it says things to me, you know. It talks. In my head. Nearly all the time, now. Right now..." he looked down at his hands, clenching them into fists. "I can't even say what it wants to do right now. You're a beautiful girl, Faye. Vampires like beauty." He ran a hand through his hair. "...just..please don't rattle the cage."
She felt like a baby. Not a very nice feeling now. Faye got up, struggling to see reason. He was right. She was being kind of suicidal. Who in his right mind would sit on a vampire's lap after he just threatened to tie her to a bed? Faye rubbed her forehead. "Alright. I'm sorry." She held up her hands in defeat. "Let's do this. I'll go watch TV, and you can come, if you want to. If not, you can rest upstairs, in my room. You must be tired."
