Faye rose an eyebrow. "Heh, no thanks buddy." She nudged him playfully. "Hey and see? I'm still here." Her vision started to return and she smiled, but he was still blurry. "As for what happened last night, a fury got into our house, looking for gods know what."
Max stared at her for a moment. Well, she was still here. And honestly, it did surprise him. But then she mentioned a fury, and that made things a little more understandable. She was used to scary things. "That's strange. You have no idea what it was looking for?" He decided not to reply to her comment of still being there.
Faye blinked, trying to get used to being able to see again. "Nope, no idea. It's okay, stuff like that happens every once in a while. Sometimes even with no real reason. That's how monsters are." She blinked again and her gaze focused on his face. "So, how is it that you can eat normal food, like pizza?"
Max listened to her. "That's strange." He looked at her as she spoke. "I'm a strange vampire. Part vampire. I can be out during the day, I can eat normal food, but I still need blood. I've got cups of it in the fridge." He smiled a bit. "So, you aren't going to start avoiding me now, are you?"
Faye was finally able to see his face clearly and she smiled at him. "Having blood in your fridge is kinda creepy, but I don't think I'll avoid you. As long as you don't eat people or anything, everything will be fine."
Max chuckled. "I don't eat people, Faye. But if I stopped drinking the blood in my fridge, it might come to that. That's why I drink the blood in my fridge instead." He leaned back against the couch. "So...would you like to do anything else, or are you ready to go home?"
"Oh." Faye nodded, making a mental note to remember that later. "Well, if you let me use your kitchen, I could make a dessert!" Her mind was already going over what she could prepare. "And you could help me. My parents are not home right now, they went to a friend's so I'm not in a hurry."
Max nodded. "Sure. I'm not sure what all's in there, but I do have normal food in there. Are you okay seeing the blood in there though?" He stood up, not wanting to get her upset by the blood in his fridge. It was one thing talking about it, another thing seeing it.
Faye got up from the couch cheerfully and took his hand to pull him up as well. "I will be fine, don't worry. Maybe someday I'll get used to it." She wondered what she'd prepare. Cookies? A cake? There were so many possibilities.
Max got up and walked to the kitchen with her. "Here we go. Look in the cupboards, the kitchen, whatever you want to use you can do it." He smiled a bit and let her have free reign.
Faye walked into the kitchen with him behind. She nodded and smiled brightly. "Yay! Thanks! I know! I'll make a pie! What do you think?"
(I am so sorry! It got lost in my notifications Dx)
Max leaned against the counter and let her have her fun with the kitchen. "A pie sounds great, Faye. Whatever kind you want." He watched her, letting her have free reign for now.

(It's okay! It's happened to me before. Happy you came back )
Faye was almost dancing around the kitchen getting the stuff she needed. "You can help me if you want." She said as she got some apples and started mixing the ingredients in a bowl. She put her phone on the counter and chose a random song so it would be more fun.

Max hesitated as she invited him. "..I've uh...never baked a pie before..." He looked away, a bit embarrassed. "I'd probably be more of a bother than a help." He watched her, though. So this was what it was like to be normal. Well, she wasn't quite normal, but right now, with her eyesight, she was.
Faye noticed his expression and smiled, walking over to him to take his hand. "Then you'll bake your first! I'm sure you can help with something" With her free hand, she smeared some flour on his cheek, leaving a white trail. "Now you look like a chef."
Max let her pull him over, laughing as she smeared flour on his cheek. "Hey! What, chefs look like bakey messes?" He watched, letting her bake. "So what kind are we baking, again?" He was a bit scared of baking, so he'd forgotten what kind of pie they'd make.
"Just the best of them." She replied sticking out her tongue at him as she mixed everything in the bowl. "You can prepare the overn while I do this. Some pre heating." Faye was swaying a bit to the music, which made her look a bit funny but she didn't really care. "We're making apple pie. It's not very difficult, trust me."
Max nodded and went to preheat the oven to whatever she said. "Alright, there we go. What else can I do?" He watched her sway, smirking slightly. She was so cute. He leaned back a little and just watched her for now. It was much better than baking himself.
"Slice the apples. I almost forgot the butter." Faye said smacking her forehead with her hand as she got a pan to melt the butter. "Hmmm..." Baking in his house was so different from hers. For starters, his kitchen looked as if it wasn't used that much, maybe it was due to him being a vampire? She looked at him and smiled, amused that he had flour on his cheek.
Max nodded and got out the apples, washing them and slicing them quickly. "Alright, there you go." He glanced at her, catching her looking at him. "Hm? Do you need something else?" He walked over and handed her the apples. "What do we do with them next?" He glanced at the clock curiously. Her eyesight lasted throughout the night, but he wondered what time he had to get her home.
