Hello RPR, Winter here.
So. As some of you may or may not know, I've been going through a lot of stuff in rl at this time. Mostly dealing with the fact my mom passed away last month.
My main issue, or one of them, is I'm always such a nervous mess about anything and everything. It's ridiculous really. I mean even now as I type this, I feel so nervous and anxious in the pit of my stomach.
I guess it still doesn't help the fact that in rl, I am still by myself. Plus very soon, a week from this coming Monday, I will be taking a huge step. Which is I'm moving from one state to another, and living with estranged family. Please don't ask why they are estranged. Long story, and I don't feel up to explaining it. Thank you.
So. Reading, TV, music, gaming, walking, all of that only gets me so far. But because for the most part I'm left alone with my thoughts...well then I get to be a nervous and emotional mess. I mean so much that I even have trouble sleeping because of it.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Any links to share?
I know at some point I will need to seek professional help, due to the stress, and possible trauma, I've had to go through alone physically. I just want something to help me get through things till I am moved. Maybe even after my move and trying to adjust to things.
Thank you to those who at least read this.

I drink tea. I listen to soothing music. Sometimes I turn off my phone and television for a whole day. I pray a lot in my teepee. I go for long walks also.

Wish I had some tea. Need to go get some, if I can budget it in. TV goes on only when I am going to bed. I believe I'll try talking to the All Father Odin, see if I can get his help with his vast wisdom. Thank you.
I put earphones in and turn up the music to 100% to block absolutely everything out. Although occasionally I'll try to distract myself with something else. Simple homework, fun baking, letting my hand move around a sheet of paper with a pencil. Nothing serious and nothing I expect to be good or to make something out of. Just something to be a temporary relief of destraction.

Winter, once you are moved and settled into your new abode, if you are comfortable, let me know what your mailing address is and I can ship you some tea. As LakotaSiouxWarrior says, tea and prayer can help (not to mention the other things. They are lovely ). Everyone has their own beliefs, but I personally find that these two things can go hand-in-hand quite nicely. Let me know what flavours you like and I'll put together a care package.
As for things that calm my nerves, long walks whilst listening to music, or just the world around me help a lot. As does gardening. I might live in an apartment, but that doesn't stop me from having plant babies, and using my tub in order to replant them into bigger pots and get my hands in some soil. I also enjoy swinging, though I do have to wait until the elementary schools around me are out for the day.
My condolences Winter.
Music can help a lot, I highly recommend listening to artists such as Danheim and Adrian von Ziegler, their music can be very soothing and they're really good!
And talking to somebody close to you can help, because it can get things off your chest, at least for some time.

Can you borrow a dog to be your walking buddy? Animals are such good listeners...

Demi. Have I told you lately, how much of a doll you are? No? YOU ARE A DOLL!!! Ty! I promise to keep you informed!
Well. I don't have any schools near me, planting isn't a thing for me but I'm happy you do it! I'll try more walking and music for certain.

I've been busy with a yard sale today, which is why I've taken a bit to respond, and I've been totally fine. I've been with my mp3 player, reading an NCIS LA book based off the TV Show, I just ate lunch, and I text my aunt off and on about my success so far with the sale. I guess when you do distract yourself, it does help.

Firstly: Thank you, appreciate it.
I will keep those artists in mind, and look them up when I have the spare time. I have to ninja my way around the house and out front for my sale atm. So I can't be long. But I do appreciate the suggestions!
I do reach out online to some people, but sadly I get into the funk of: I don't want to bother them while I'm an emotional mess.

Sadly no as I do not have any neighbors with pets. Believe me, wish I had a dog to hug onto if nothing else. I've been without a dog for 5-6 years now.
I’m sorry to hear you’re going through so much at the moment, hopefully things will get better for you.
All of the suggestions above are really good, I’m not sure how much I can add lol. One thing I found that worked great for me, especially if you can feel yourself starting to panic, is breathing exercises. This is something that a friend recommended to me a few months ago and it’s helped me when I’ve been feeling panicked, especially in the middle of the night when I can’t really use a lot of my day time distractions. Here’s the video that they sent me that shows one of the breathing exercises if you want to try it!
Another thing that helps a lot, at least for me, is art. It’s a huge part of my life, and it’s a way to vent in some ways because you can put emotion into it. Sometimes it can be hard to draw, but drawing while listening to Adrian Von Ziegler, Lucas king, or just songs that you enjoy can be really relaxing! If you ever wanted to, I’d be happy to talk or draw with you, or send music/funny pictures to try and help! Just let me know and I’ll respond as fast as I can

Hey, any help is appreciated greatly. Believe me!
You know. My aunt mentioned something about breathing practice. I will make sure to look into the video link you provided. ^-^ She also mentioned something about meditation. Well. Not sure how that will help me at night, but maybe I can still try that as well. Thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP!
I really mean it. Just knowing there are those who give what advice they can, REALLY means something to me! Thank you!
