Nalel slowly walked through the alley, slumping against the cold brick wall as she gripped her bleeding arm. Her vision blurred as she continued to lose blood and her knees gave out beneath her from exhaustion. She rested against the wall and looked around slowly,"Water...I need water...someone...I mean no harm..."she whispered, tears quickly welling up in her light grey eyes. Nalel's light blue hair fell across her face and her body slowly began to slide down to the hard stone. She felt her heart beat quickly as she heard the villagers shouting to each other to find her. Her eyes fluttered and her vision went black,"Someone..."her body went limp and her breathing became shallow as she tried to hold on. She didn't want to leave such a beautiful world...yet it was so cruel to her.

Tearon saw her struggling, he jogged up to her holding the scabbard, that held his sword, in his left hand. Once he got to her he knelt down next to her and pulled a strip of cloth from his pocket.
Nalel's eyes slowly opened and she looked up at him. She jolted away and stared at him with wide eyes,"P-please...don't take me to them..."her grey eyes begged.
He looked up from the wound on her arm and shook his head as he held his index finger up to his lips, the villagers still shouting nearby. Tearon knew that he had to bandage the wound or she could bleed out, so he started trying to us the clothe to bandage it.
Nalel slowly moved over to him and held out her arm, saying a silent thank you. She peered out of the alley slowly and tensed once she heard the villagers. She huddled against him and closed her eyes tightly,"Let's just get...out of here..."she whispered.
Tightly tieing off the clothe he would kneel facing away from her, "get on my back," he said quietly.
She grabbed onto his shoulders and wrapped her legs around his waist,"Thank you..."she whispered, resting her head on his shoulder.
Once she was on he would zig-zag his way out of the village, as it had no walls. He would follow a very vague path once he got a few hundred yards out of the village and into the woods. The path started in a small clearing and ended at a small house, his house. Upon reaching his house he would set her on his bed and his sword against a chair, then ask as to why the villagers were after her.
Nalel held on as best as she could as they made their way out of the village. She allowed herself to relax ans closed her eyes. She opened them and looked around as she felt him sit her on a comfortable bed. She blinked at his question and looked down, folding her hands into her lap,"You see...i'm...a witch."
"How well trained are you?" he asked in his calm voice not seeming to be bothered by the fact that she was a witch.
She blinked at his expression and she sighed, snapping her fingers. The room darkened and fire began to play at the walls though causing no harm,"I can control every element..."
"Why didn't you fight back?" he asked as most witches would have.
"Because so many would have died...I wouldn't be able to bare it..."she sighed and laid back, curling into a ball.
Tearon walked into the kitchen, "You hungry?" he yelled back.
She sat up a bit and looked over at the door,"Ah...yes...please..."
There was a pause and the sound of cabinets opening and closing. After a moment, "What do you want? I have some fruit, fresh bread and cheese, and some meat that's going to be bad tomorrow."
Nalel slowly stood and walked out,"I'm fine with anything really..."she smiled a bit and walked over to him, patting down her dress. The rips slowly sewing themselves back together.
Tearon got her bowl of fruit and some bread, then moved to the middle of the kitchen where there was a small fire pit and started a small fire.
Nalel mumbled a soft thank you and sat down at the table. She picked at the bread slowly, glancing at him from time to time,"Hey...why haven;t you killed me yet? I'm a witch after all..."she asked.
He didn't answer immediately, but once the started the fire he responded with, "Why, do you want me to?"
