Crysor bared his teeth in a silent snarl, shoving the bag back at Ryoran. Honestly? This was what it came down to? He couldn't believe this... All of this just for an egg? He knew they were going to die, right? Dragons were highly protective of two things, after all- their treasure and their offspring.
Kori was still reeling from the slap, his face scrunched up as he rubbed the back of his head. "You didn't have to hit me that hard, you know... Geez."

"Hey, hey, okay. I didn't even got to sell it, and no one will buy it after this. I can return it." He cleared his throat. "Because I don't think it'd be a good idea to hand it to him personally. I mean, 'Hey Mr. Dragon, I stole this egg but I couldn't sell it so here it is?' It wouldn't go well."
( I love Ryoran)
"Maybe you could just leave it somewhere where he'd find it, or put it back in the nest?" Kori asked after interpreting Crysor's frantic hand signals. "He agrees that talking with the dragon personally would not be a good idea."

(Awww Ryoran appreciates that and just winked at you. Kori is so cute, and Crysor too! I wish they were real to hug them like teddy bears )
"The nest! That'd work." He said snapping his fingers and then palming both of their shoulders. "He'll be too busy around here looking for me to return for a while."

(Doooow *blushes and flails a hand spasmodically*)
(Kori would love it but I think Crysor would try to kill someone xD himself included)
Crysor sighed, his shoulders slumping as he finally relaxed. It was going to be okay. If they left the egg there then maybe they'd get lucky and the dragon would leave them alone. Maybe.
Whoa whoa whoa- they? Why was he thinking "they"? There was no they, this was all Ryoran's mess!
Still, he was their friend, a teammate of sorts. Kori would be crushed if he got eaten like a chip.
Speaking of Kori, he knelt down next to the hobbit and gave him an apologetic grimace for slapping him so hard.
"Oh... I guess it's okay. But you owe me a slap, or at least a kick in the shins."
The elf nodded and stood up again. Fair enough.

(Hahaha)
"I volunteer to do that for you!" Ryoran said raising his hand like a school boy would do in a classroom. "Or not... Well, let's get going before our heads are torn from out bodies." He was strangely cheerful considering the situation he was in.

"Maybe we both get a turn- what do you think, Crysor?"
The elf merely rolled his eyes at the two ninnyhammers, wondering how on earth he got stuck with two spazzes such as them.
"I do like my head," Kori commented, trotting after Ryoran. "It's kinda important."

Ryoran laughed and continued walking. "I don't know you guys, but I always need a beer before beginning a trip."
Crysor reached out a long arm and pretty soon had Ryoran in a headlock, shaking his head and a finger warningly. He remembered how Ryoran got when he had beer- this guy would make an awful alcoholic because he couldn't hold anything to save his life.
No no, Ryoran, no beers. Just get rid of the dragon egg and then maybe beers. If you're lucky.

"No beer?" He pouted and sighed, giving up. "Fine, fine, Pointed Ears. Geez, you're worst than Mother, just she pulls my ear, as if I were still a kid." He scoffed, but therewas a tinge of sadness because he missed his family.
Crysor released him, still giving him a warning look. He knew how Ryoran got; he knew this fool all too well (he wasn't sure how he felt about that).
"You know, I don't think I've ever had beer," Kori mused aloud, rubbing his chin.

He looked at Kori. "Never?!" He snapped his fingers. "He needs to have his first beer, c'mon, you won't deny a hobbit his first beer, right?" He told Crysor, hoping he'd get to buy one for himself too.
Crysor gave him a look that said yes, he'd deny a hobbit his first beer. There were much more pressing matters to deal with at the moment.
Ryoran's shoulders slumped and he sighed again. "Alright, let's get going then. Basements give me the creeps."
Crysor nodded fervently, steering Kori away from the darkness and back to his side, gesturing at Ryoran to take the lead.
"I think the dragon's coming... I hear him," Kori commented cheerfully, tilting his head to the side as he said this. Crysor nodded, hearing it too, and jerked his head at Ryoran to please hurry up and get them out of there.

Ryoran's head perked up, trying to listen. "I think is above us. He must know we're down here and it's following us up there." Indeed the dragon was just above their heads, destroying everything in his path. Angry dragon equals massive troubles.
Kori popped his head out first, looking around cautiously for the dragon. It would be kind of hard to miss, after all. "I think we're good... Hold on a sec, I'm going to make sure."
Ryoran nodded, standing below Kori in case he fell down. The dragon had taken flight, scanning the area from the sky.
