She smiled, "I have some in my bag, I just need to find you some water, And Drago, Calm. Down. If you panic, or force yourself to keep coughing it'll hurt your throat, once you can, take deep breaths" She said, remembering it was something her mother always said, and got up, walking to her bed, not too far, a couple of steps really, and opening her bag, searching a little and finding the pill container, the brand being unimportant to her, and she walked back, "Are you sure this wouldn't cause adverse effects to you? Since from what I heard you aren't human I mean" She asked, opening the top by pushing in and twisting the cap.
"Oh, shit... Uh" Lyra looked around at all her cabin mates for help. "We, we should get a counselor, r-right?" Her voice wavered. "W-where are the counselors anyway?" She looked around, as if a counselor would just materialize out of thin air, then shook her head. "S-should I try to find a?" She stuttered.
Seeing Jaike giving advice calmed her a bit. She took a deep breath. "I'm mostly human, it shouldn't have any negative side effects." She rubbed the back of her head. "Th-thanks."
"We might need a councelor if it gets bad, but for now? Not too sure, pretty sure dragon/human things are more resilient than me" she said, before smiling a little, "No problem! I try to help as much as I can, Good to know it shouldn't do anything bad to you, wait, I think I have a water bottle in my bag, not sure" She checked, effectively finding a lukewarm water bottle, and handing two of the small white pills with it to Lyra, "Here ya go"
She took the pills and the water from Jaike. "Thanks, it helps a lot." She took the pills, then washed then down with some of the lukewarm water. She was still looking at Drago, concerned, but she sighed and closed the water bottle, handing it back to Jaike. "Yeah, I know he's resilient, but it seems bad." She frowned slightly.
“I… used… too… much… mana!”, Drago said before coughing up more blood and passed out on the floor with blood on his mouth.
Lyra looked to Jaike. "That's sufficiently bat to warrant getting a counselor, right?" She stuttered out. "Uh, oh man, I- Where are the counselors?"
"I Don't know, I have no idea what a counselor should look like, or what mana even is" She said, looking a little more worried now, placing the bottle on the floor next to her feet like she'd normally do, and standing up, "It's really late, where would the counselors even be?" She asked out loud, her eyes not seeing well in the darnkess of the corners.
A black book appeared beside Drago’s head.
((Mana is the energy to use magical power to use magic))
((Mana is the energy to use magical power to use magic))
Lyra hesitantly looked at the black book. She knelt down next to it, then turned back to Jaike. "I should-, this, this seems important, right?" She turned and picked up the book carefully. She looked at the cover, being very cautious with it, as if it might explode.
"I... don't usually pick up black suspicious looking books that pop up out of literal nowhere most of the time... so I wouldn'tknow" She said, not looking too keen on getting anywhere near the book, as she usually didn't like messing with things she knew nothing about. Knowing nothing about something could lead to mistakes, and mistakes where there was something magical or spiritual involved was never without bloodshed.
A message magically appeared above the cover. “I’m the Drakko Grimoire, and appeared because of master!”, it states.
Lyra nearly jumped out of her own skin when the book suddenly changed. "Ah! Oh, uh the book, it, it says something now?" She held the book and read the message. "Appeared because of it's master? Must be because he passed out..."
"I am... still not touching it but good for it. I'm gonna sit over here and watch to make sure we don't end up dead" she said, honestly more than a little skeptical, but she wasn't abut to say much else about it.
"Yeah that's honestly a good idea. I don't have a lot of experience with magic objects, but I do know they can be incredibly volatile..." She continued to inspect the book, despite her better judgement.
“Please open me and place me next to Master Dragioten (Drago’s internal name)!”, states another message under the last one.
"Uh, okay..." Lyra opened the book to the first page and placed the open book next to Drago's head, she stood up and stepped back, waiting for something to happen.
A green light emerged from the grimoire and it transferred to Drago. The blood that was around his skin was absorbed into his body and Drago began to stir into consciousness.
Lyra knelt down next to Drago. "Is, is he okay now?" She sighed.
She shrugged, "Who knows? We'll just... have to wait" she said, her eyes blinking slowly as she yawned, sitting back slightly.
