she looked at zero and gave him a look " okay, " her voice a worried tone as she spoke. her body, not tensing but was now relaxing as he helped her feel safer in the water. "t..thank you, I kinda freaked when I went into the water, I don't know why I have not been back in it in a long time" she said in a calm voice
Lyra sighed and climbed down from her bed, walking over to the cabin door. She rested her hand against it, pausing for a second, then pushing it open and stepping outside.
“Well, seeing from your reaction, you maybe almost drowned one time.”, he said gently, “I’m going to free you to the water very soon but only if you know you can handle it”
"yes, I think I can handle it ..." A light but still nervous tone within her voice
“Turn into your humanoid form real quick”, he said. Then reduced his support for her
"okay" she said while changing her form into her hybrid while she was still in the water, seeing that he was there keeping her safe within the water. " Hmm, I think I forgot to tell you thanks for helping me" she smiled at him.
“No problem”, he said turning into his hybrid form and swam beside her lifting her up gently with his hands, “so why are you so scared of the water”
She sighed " attackers came and I was in the water. My mother couldn't do anything to help me. But my father helped instead after he saw me drowning.... I was only a child..so young " she said briefly.
“I don’t really know what to say to that but I will tell you this. When you’re in the water with me, don’t be scared and if you are then I will help”, he said, “ ready”
Bessi walked to the edge of the lake, his grotesque looking hound Krac walked behind him watching the two swimmers with him. Bessi was silent his old coat flapping a little in the wind.
After standing out in front of the agoraphobia cabin for a bit, Lyra moved closer to the lake, still keeping a safe distance, she was still scared to swim after all. She glanced over at Bessi and waved.
Krac huffed suddenly, noticing Lyra, Bessi turned to look at her, he patted the large hound with one hand before walking over.
He smiled a bit to Lyra, "The lake is beautiful isn't it?" a light German accent on his lips and a friendly tone following it, "How are you fairing?"
He smiled a bit to Lyra, "The lake is beautiful isn't it?" a light German accent on his lips and a friendly tone following it, "How are you fairing?"
"I-it is." She smiled weakly. "I'm doing alright, it's been a bit hectic here." Lyra noticed the dog and reached down to pet it, not off-put by it's apprentice. "You're one of the counselors, right? I don't know if you're the person I should go to about this but do you know what the itinerary is like, and uh, if it involves," She paused, adjusting her glasses. "Anything where we have to be in the water." Her voice shook a little bit.
Krac leaned into the young woman's pet, clearly enjoying the contact, Bessi nodded, "I am indeed, counselor for Crohonophobia. I don't believe we have any water activities planned for the future, but I imagine if we did you aren't required to be involved from my knowledge." He said placing his hands behind his back, he looked back to the two swimming.
Lyra looked where he was looking. Seeing Taz and Zero in the water, she sighed a bit. "Taz? I thought she was scared of the...?" She muttered to herself.
He nodded, "Some people can find the strength to overcome what drives fear into their hearts. Taz is lucky enough to have found that. You could too, with time, patience, and perseverance." He glanced over to Drago, the man's fireball having drawn him to the lake in the first place.
“Ok, off you go”, he said letting taz go, “be calm and if you start struggling, I will help you again. Also I can smell some new people”
