Lucy was quite relieved when the haunters left them alone, grabbing her candy and looking around. "Can we go now?"

"Wanna head back the way we came?" Flynn asked, smiling a little as he grabbed his candy.

"No........" Lucy glanced behind them, wondering where the haunters went. "I wonder what else is here........."

"No clue, let's just go" Flynn pulled off his his glove, holding out his hand for Lucy to take as they walked. "How bout we do this like when we were walking through the house....? after the dude got inside"

Tabby noticed the blood began to take shape. It was no longer splatters, but more distinctive. One drop looked like a peanut... as she began to try to make out what the shapes were supposed to be she rounded the corner and found a circus-themed section. This area held clowns, something Tabby wasn't afraid of, fortunately. Still, they looked sinister and it was hard to tell... were the mannequins or real people waiting to jump out at her? After the last section, it seemed to be getting better. Still, she was anxious to find the end.

It was a good thing they didn't choose to go back, as they would not have been able to. There was no returning, only going forward into the Insect section. "Hello, child." Giggled spiders hidden in the shadows as the spider queen scuttled on the catwalk above them, occasional drops of colored water dripped down, shining acid green in the light...her venom. She stayed largely out of the way, though, the rasping, echoing sounds of her movements the only thing giving her away.

The clowns giggled, surging out from signs displaying the Ringmaster with glowing, ember eyes and tears through his face, leaving him ragged and vicious-looking. They laughed, these chuffs more like gasping, rattling breaths, and danced around her, all pointed teeth and broken jaws, riding their unicycles and juggling dismembered corpses, calling for her to sit down and stay with them...sit down and stay forever.

"Flynn what is that?" Lucy asked, looking around.

"Another actor maybe?" Flynn shrugged, walking down the hall. After the last thing he was ready this time if something popped out. He was half tempted to put Lucy on his shoulders and go that way.

"Well its freaky, there's stuff dripping all over the place.........." she looked around, pouting some.

"Isnt Undyne supposed to be brave?" He asked in a teasing way. "And the exit is just pasta the last station"

"Flynn, you would have been a better Sans cause that was terrible" Lucy shook her head some.

"Gross," Tabby said aloud, sounding a bit like a valley girl. She hurried through the circus without stopping. She did her best not to run and followed the candy-shaped blood drops hoping to locate the next candy station. Surely the end had to be near at this point...

The queen giggled, voice creaking as she swung down, hanging by spider webs in front of her two victims. Fortunately, he had a background in aerial yoga, and through multiple gauzy but still strong silks, she was able to seem as if she were dangling from webs, arms reaching for them, her many eyes blinking and flashing, more venom dripping from her clicking mandibles. "Finally, to eat!" She shrieked, other voices joining in as others joined from the walls, a few hanging from other silks, but none as frightening as the queen. "Food!" They whispered in clicking voices, reaching mostly for the child, though a few went after Flynn as well.

"Shame! Shame!" One whispered, tongue sticking out, long and down to his throat. "Shame!" The others slowly backed up, though, leaving only the long-tongued one.

Tabby looked at the long-tongued one, but didn't say anything. She attempted to continue on hoping to find the next station and exit as quickly as she could.

Fortunately, finally, the girl had reached the last bowl before she got to Axel and the final haunting section.

"You've made it through a lot, but you've no choice but to keep plunging through!" It screamed, the shiny wrappers of the Mars bars glittering in the light. This final section...was far from as scary as the others. Themed after aliens, they utilized the natural lab synthesizing area to fill with all sorts of monsters they were growing, most very much real. Off to the sides, there was a cage on each side with two newly finished creations, and though a few haunters jumped out, they weren't made to be able to achieve the same level of the others, mostly to give their victim a false sense of fear before they got to Axel, who was waiting in his own section and curled now around the base of the cauldron full of candy, seemingly dead but also almost invisible until you were on top of him.

Tabby found the Mars Bars and took two before continuing on. This part of the haunted house appeared to look like Area 51, the secret military base in New Mexico that allegedly held aliens. Tabby paused to look around. This section wasn't scary at all. The detail of the scene was amazing. The person who did this must be a professional prop builder or something, she thought. Either that or they were wealthy and hired someone to put this together.

There were a few costume actors that did jump out and startle her, but after the other sections, this one wasn't so bad. After pausing a moment to take in the scene, Tabby kept moving to the next section. She followed the trail of blood drops to a large cauldron. It was quiet here, too quiet. Tabby sensed she was near the end. She paused to look around a moment before approaching, wondering what the grand finale would be. Surely, the end wasn't going to be this easy...

Axel grinned, slowly unwinding his tufted tail and humming softly, still rather hidden unless you looked closely. He bared pointed teeth and slowly slid upwards, through a curtain so he could crawl up and drop down behind Tabby, which he did with a slightly muffled thud, standing at his full 6'8, clawed fingers spread, still humming some sort of older, creepy tune.

Around the beast's throat was a metal tracking and shock collar listing his subject codes and the real name of the lab which had become, for a brief while, a haunted house, body hidden behind a thin, rather ragged shift with a belt around his waist. He stood there, grinning at her, hair obscuring his eyes.

Tabby stood there staring at the cauldron. She sensed she was not alone. After a moment, she had a feeling she was being watched. She could feel bumps forming on the back of her neck and arms. She stepped forward and slowly turned around, facing the creature that towered over her tiny 5 foot 2 frame. For a moment, she just started before letting out the scariest, blood-curdling scream she was capable of and dropped the basket. The candy and plush wolf spilled on the floor. Tabby stood transfixed by fear unable to move. She couldn't find her voice as she stood there staring at the thing in front of her completely paralyzed by fear.

He stood there still, mouth slightly agape, grinning wide and looking down, a frightening chimera of demon and human and monster. He felt a little bad about scaring the girl enough that she lost her candy, but his intent was to scare her, this was a haunted house, after all. Besides, the blood drops ended at the base of the cauldron, inferring that he had killed something. So he would have to show her the way out, seeing as how it really was NOT a clear exit.

Tabby stood there staring at the demon who didn't do anything else. After a moment, she remembered that this was only a haunted house and not real. She stared for a moment with a deer-in-headlight look on her face before bending down to gather the candy she dropped. Tabby added the stuffed wolf back to her basket. "Uh, so this is it," she ventured. "I guess?" She bit her lower lip and twisted a lock of red hair around her finger. It was a nervous habit she had whenever she was uncomfortable. She wasn't quite sure what to do since the blood splatters ended at the cauldron and it didn't appear to lead her out of the room.

He nodded silently, eyes gleaming as he knelt down, a grin spreading on her face. "Did you enjoy the laboratory?" He asked, his voice a rasp, watching her with curious eyes. "We did promise to briefly give at least one true horror. And by your reaction, I'm sure we at least succeeded."

"Uh y-yes," Tabby stumbled a bit. "It was very impressive. I enjoyed it. You definitely put in a lot of work! I think you definitely succeeded." Tabby realized she was playing with her hair again and forced her hand down to her side.

"Good. Us subjects really enjoyed getting to have fun for once." He tilted his head slightly, one of the lights on the tracking/shock collar starting to flash rapidly. He narrowed his eyes, flinching, and then stepped to the side, brushing away a curtain to reveal the exit, still rather decorated but clearly lacking others with the exception of a few staff members who were relaxing, dressed as the dead and clearly not intending to get up. They were mostly there just to monitor, in case one of the subjects broke loose or wounded any visitors.

"Well, uh thanks, you did a great job," Tabby replied. "Glad you enjoyed putting it on." When the demon thing pulled the curtain back Tabby exited. She realized that after she was back outside that she forgot to take anything from the cauldron, but she had enough goodies to satisfy the older cheerleaders.

"It's about time, Tabbycat," Marie snapped when the ginger-haired first-year girl finally emerged. Tabby scowled at the hated nickname, but there wasn't much she could do about it. Marie was the team captain, after all.

"What did you bring us," The older girl demanded seizing the basket. She picked through the candy. "Hmm, not too bad. You even got us a juice pouch."

"It was a whole haunted house with different stations. You had to go through a maze and there was a bowl at the end of each scene," Tabby offered.

"We might have to send someone else through there then," Marie mused. "We have the rest of the block to finish, though." Marie took the candy and thrust the basket and stuffed animal back at Tabby. She glanced back at the lab once last time, before following the senior girls on down the sidewalk.
