First off, I bought my best friend of over a decade some early Christmas presents off of Etsy. It was DND stuff since he going to start a Curse of Strahd Campaign for his real life friend group. We live on opposite sides of the country so I can't participate in that. Instead he dms using roll 20 for our internet friend group.
Anyway I bought him a Strahd miniature.
And a dnd dice coffin that I paid a little extra to have engraved with Strahd von Zarovich on the lid in the font of his choice.
So I'm delighted with myself as this guy is just a pain in the arse to buy presents for. Now since he was fanboying over etsy goods while we were playing a game the other day, I decide that it was my turn to fangirl to him over etsy goods myself. So I chose to fangirl over things from my favorite video game of all time; Okami.
Naturally this includes plushies so I tell him about these two plushies, one being very adorable and at $29 with the other being much larger, magnificent and much more expensive at $130. He offers to get me a plushie for Christmas so I show him the cheaper one. He then asks me about the expensive one and I show it to him. He then goes. "Ok I'm getting you both."
My jaw hit the floor. I freak out, fangirl squealing and burying him in virtual hugs. That sort of plushie is something I have always wanted, but never figured I could justify buying for reasons so getting to own one is a dream come true.
Anyway I know you guys will want to see the pictures, so I shall oblige. First the adorable handmade $29 one.
Now the dreamy, magnificent, handmade, made to order, 55CM, by 80CM or in inches roughly 21In, by 31In plushie.
Sadly I won't be getting this piece of adorable Ammy love for some weeks since as previously mentioned its made to order and ships from Russia. However I shall be patient and the planet shall hear my squeal of delight when it does arrive.
My best friend is far far too nice to me.
No I will not apologize for heart emote spam.
