So I drew this for my Tiefling who is a bard.
And she was heavily inspired by this character.
But she looks too much like the original thing so can someone offer some advice on how to improve it?

The drawing looks great! Similarity wise, I'm noticing that the pose is almost exactly the same as the model it was based on. Perhaps changing it a little more would help, or maybe adding a couple extra details to the clothes themselves?
For example: There seems to be folds within the skirt based off the detail on the bottom of it, so maybe extending some of the fold into the upper part of the skirt would give it more dimension/give it more of a difference since the original doesn't have many folds.
Also if you're planning to continue black and white, maybe doing some light shading to add a sense of color to the look will help make it look different than the original and also help whoever's looking at it see the different pieces of the outfit better.
I hope this helps!

Thank you, I was thinking of transferring this into photoshop and coloring it there.
