Vincent quickly ran through the forest, escaping his pursuers. "Any closer and I'd probably be dead. I wish I knew what they wanted.". Vincent sat down on an old tree stump and remember what happened before he had awoken merely a couple of minutes ago. But all that was before thelat was a big blur. He remembered nothing after all. He wondered if his pursuers knew where he came from but quickly brushed the thought aside seeing as how he didn't want to die by the hands of an earth elemental today. The idea of being helpless angered him. "Why can't I remember why I'm here?! In tired of running and only knowing my name!". And then, Vincent did remember something. He remembered another name, a name that made him feel as if he could defeat the golems pursuing him. And for some reason, he felt that saying the name might do something. So Vincent stood up and yelled the name at the top of his lungs. "Shikurasa!". As soon as he said it, a large stainless steel scythe had appeared in his two hands. But, it had also drawn some unwanted attention. He looked at the scythe. "Well, I guess I'm gonna have to fight them. Good thing I have Shikurasa now, or else is be dead in a matter of seconds.

Kuro had been sleeping not too far away from where Vincent lost the ones after him. They had stumbled upon her campsite, but they didn't see her. She had already woken up when they were about twenty feet away and quickly hid in the trees. She watched as they ran off, then she went down to collect her stuff. She then quickly an off in the direction they came from. It wasn't long till she saw something that she didn't know. She came closer to see grey haired boy with a scythe of some sort. She then heard the guys turning around and coming towards them. She was not gonna like this situation but she couldn't let him just die because of them. She came out of where she was hiding and grabbed his wrist. "That little stunt right there is gonna cost you. We need to go." She said as she ran away from the men, still holding the boy's wrist.

Vincent ran behind the girl who had just grabbed his wrist. He wasn't to sure where she came from, but he did know he was avoiding getting killed for now. "Where are we going?". He asked the girl.

"A hiding place I found yesterday." She said quickly as her eyes scanned the forest until she found the cave she was looking for. She quickly turned into it and dragged him in, panting slightly. She watched the guys run right past them.

"Thanks, I owe ya one. I'm Vincent, who're you?". Vincent was surprised he remembered his own name. For the past half an hour it was really all he knew.

"I go by Kuro Sakuranbo." She said with a shrug. She let out a low whistle, to quiet for the men to hear. Soon and silver blur flew past them and then landed in front of Kuro, reveling it was a gray dragon, about 6 meters tall.

"What is that thing?". Vincent couldn't believe what he was seeing. He had gotten used to seeing the golems, seeing as how they had been chasing him. But this reptilian monster he saw before him was different. It seemed smarter and stronger than the others. "What do we do now?".

Kuro looked at him in surprise. "A dragon. Don't you know what they are? I assumed everyone knew one when they saw one." She said as the dragon turned into his human from. "I am better known as Suta or Star." He said, rolling up his right sleeve and revealing a star tattoo on the inside of his wrist. "I don't know about you but I need to continue with my travels and head away from here."

Vincent sat confused inside the hiding place. "Is he talking to us?". He whispered to kuro.

Kuro nodded. "Yes, this is a dragon that has been with me since he was born." She explained.

"so we can trust him?". vincent asked, a little more understanding of the situation.

Kuro nodded. "Yes, he has no reason to betray us."

"okay." he said, trying to stand up. "so what do we do now? you want to travel together with me?

Kuro shrugged. "It all depends on what you have to offer to me. What would make you useful to me?" She didn't want to explain why she was running away and didn't care for his reason.

Vincent thought on the question for a minute. "well, it looks like you don't have any trouble protecting yourself, so I guess that's out. I could help you in battle I guess. I mean, I may not have any memories right now, but maybe finding them will lead us to something. though I guess you don't care about that either. so, I really have no reason for us to travel together except safety in numbers.".

The no memories caught Kuro's attention. "You don't have any memory whatsoever? Besides what has happened this far." This interested her because she could either give him back his memories or let him try to figure them out for himself.

"Yep. I have zero memory of how I got here or where I'm from." Vincent said sadly. "All I remember is my name and the name of this scythe.".

(Sorry that I didn't reply sooner! My notifications didn't tell me! I am really sorry!)
Kuro found that interesting. "I see." She didn't speak a word of how she recently figured out how to access someone's mind and open the door of their memories because she wasn't willing to try it again, but of course she didn't think that Suta wouldn't bring it up. "Kuro, aren't you able to erase and bring back memories?" He asked, making her flinch.

"Really? You can do that, kuro?" Vincent looked at her in astonishment. "Do you think you could restore mine? I'd really appreciate it.".

Kuro rubbed the back of her head. "I could try it but how I enter the mind isn't how most people think it would be." She said, trying to think of a way to explain this right.
(I forgot to tell you that with Kuro, instead of putting her hand over someone's eyes to enter their mind, she has to kiss them, to let her soul enter their body for the time being.)
