Gorn had spent a few days watching over his wooded domain. He decided now would be a good time to eat. The nearby town had to get wood for their income needs and had sent out people to cut down trees. Gorn saw this and roared out, decending on the woodcutters angrilly, his feet picking up a few \"Well now my little snacks, I thought you all would ignore my land but you don't.\" There was a bit of malice in his voice, the booming sound reaching ground level for a long ways away. His forest was a larger one and it was prided as the biggest and most densely populated around.

Kuro hadn't realized that she had entered the land that belonged to a dragon. She was trying to find some berries to eat for her and Suta while he was asleep at their campsite. She decided to let him sleep because he was so young and they had been up late in the night trying to find a good resting spot. She heard the loud roar but it sounded far away and she thought it best to not go in farther once she got what she needed.

Gorn soon flew off with his new meal, he'd end up flying in her direction, wanting to find one more meal part. When he noticed her he'd roar again "Another human!" He'd yell out "I'll eat you with these ones." He flew down at her, aiming to catch her and bring her back with him for a meal.

Kuro quickly ducked and ran over to a tree for cover when the dragon came to get her. "Human? Are you kidding me? I'm HALF human!" She yelled, clearly not afraid of him. There was so little in these world that scared Kuro, not even a large dragon. She had here own dragon that she was taking care of. "How dare you confuse me for such a race!" She might be half human and have human friends but she still held resentment to them for things they do to this world.

Gorn growls and lands "You look human.." He'd lean in and sniff her "Hmm, part feline.... YOu're lucky... I would have killed you..." He sniffed again "There's another dragon here, they are dangers to my being able to stay here!" He roared out angrilly and went to grab her "Did you bring it?!" His voice had a bit of fear in it, mixed in with the anger.

Kuro quickly ducked again, not wanting to get caught. "He is off your land! He is too young to cause any of a threat to you as a dragon for his small size." She said calmly, still standing in the tree. She could hear the fear in his angry voice. A dragon being scared of another dragon? How is that? She thought, clearly smarter than she looked. "Is it that you fear other dragons for some reason?" She asked bluntly.

Gorn growls "I was pushed out and my former mate taken... I won't let a threat continue!" His eyes gave off a light glow "I doubt you know how far a dragon's domain is!" He looked to her "I won't let your friend threaten my ability to keep the place I care about. You give me one reason to let the other live..." He'd say and angrilly look for where the 'threat' was at.

"He wasn't born a dragon! He has been with me since he had hatched, he is the results of an experiment. There's you're reason to keep him alive." She said, seeing that he wanted to find Suta, clearly wanting to make sure he was around to get rid of him. "He has only met another dragon once and it was a shy and around his age, female. He is only seven years old, but he has always been in my care and I have raised him to respect all life equally and to not do such a thing to another creature."

Gorn growls "I don't know about that... I can't tell his type, some will do it no matter raising..." He lowered his wing to her "How about I judge, you need food, I can get a nice deer..." He was ready tto judge for himself. The large dragon was old and fearful from his experiences.

Kuro nodded and got on him. "I had left him at my campsite asleep. I promise you that he isn't what you would believe him to be." She would do anything to protect him, he was pretty much her son, even if not through blood.

Gorn took off and grabbed a deer "How old are you?" He wasn't good with human social graces. He looked down "Which way little being?" He'd ask and look for the camp area.

"I'm 17 years old. He is ten years younger than me." Kuro said, watching him quickly capture a deer. "It is about ten miles from where you had found me, towards the east." She said calmly.

Gorn crossed the distance quickly, his large form landing at her camp. He killed the deer and shifted to a tall man with gold eyes, he had tanned skin and red hair. His clothing was the same red as his scales had been "Now, it's been killed so we will need to cook it for you and, if he doesn't eat raw, him." The old dragon smiles a bit, trying to look friendly.

Kuro got off of his back once they had landed. "Alright, you have yet to tell me your name. I go by Kuro." She said as she walked over to the small sleeping silver dragon. He was the size of the average human head as a dragon. She gently shook him awake, his gold eyes looking over at her then at the other dragon. He then stood up and shifted into his human from which looked about 12 years old with short silver hair and bright gold eyes. He yawned once then looked over at Kuro. "What is going on?" He asked her, looking back over at Gorn.

Gorn smiles "I am Gornerak, Warden of these lands." He knew there was no true warden but he felt it his job. The male smiles "The humans will never learn of the truth of me." He sits down after looking to the deer "I brought meat." He was watching suta suspiciously.

Suta looked him over, clearly he did not trust Gorn whatsoever. He never really trusted anyone besides Kuro because she was like his mother. "I see. I am sure that she already told you my name is Suta. What has brought you here?" He asked, not really interested in the meat.

Gorn smiles "To see if you should be allowed to live... You are male and thus a possible threat to me when you age, how you act now tells me if I am to let you continue on..." The male frowns "I let one live and he took home and mate from me, I won't do that again if I feel there is a threat." His voice had a clear threat in it as he was prepared to smash the two if he had to.

Suta nodded. "I see, well, I wouldn't do anything like that. I really see no reason to take your home or your mate. I honestly believe that this is a place you worked to keep so you shouldn't have it taken and if you love your mate than I won't try to take her away no matter my age." He said with a shrug. Kuro looked over at Gorn with a 'I told you so.' face. "There really was no reason to worry about him."

Gorn gave a look of anger "I have no mate anymore..." He seemed rather annoyed by the words "I have yet to see that..." He pulls the deer over then smiles "Has she taught you the human manners and ways to eat or are you able to eat the dragon way?" The gold eyes looked at the younger one, still unsure of him.

Suta shrugged. "Sorry, man, but I didn't know. I just assumed you had gotten another one. I had read that most dragons move from mate to mate when another has left them." He really didn't show much emotion or really any care towards Gorn. Kuro sighed at Suta's bluntness. "I know how to eat like most dragons but I choose to eat with manners, to be frank."
