Gorn landed on the edge and blew fire into the forest, little dots of flame showed where the humans were. He growled a bit "They tried to kill you... You've done nothing yet they tried." He'd go back to his bed "I can't heal it with the bullet inside, nor can I shift, it's unnatural and prevents me from doing so..." He laid there as he couldn't get it.

"What about having me or Kuro get it out?" Melina offered, it wouldn't be hard for either of them seeing as they were both female and had small hands.

Gorn smiles "If you would... I would be greatful." He moved so the wound was visible "I'm sorry I am a bother. I just can't use my flames to burn it without harming myself and they won't heal me with it inside."

Melina nodded. "It will hurt to remove it though. That much I know." She went over to where the wound was, seeing the bullet in there. She was a bit hesitant to pull it out, but she took a deep breath and then pulled it out as quickly as she could to end the pain quickly.

Gorn gave a light growl but didn't lash out, he was trying to remember that she could end up his mate. He'd breathe fire on his leg once she was done and she'd see him begin healing much faster "Thank you." He'd shift and bite his lip as he thought about hugging her gently in thanks.

Melina was glad he didn't lash out at her because she was only trying to help and would be scared if he did. "It was really nothing. What should I do with the bullet?" She still held the bloody bullet in her hands.

Gorn frowns "I don't care what's done with it." He'd say as he looked to her "I wanted to meet you." He'd say with a smile "You need to know that I am much more aggressive than I have been with males and will fight them unless asked not to." He'd say looking down. He could tell she didn't like confrontations.

Melina was surprised by that. "I wanted to meet you too, honestly. Like I told Kuro, most male dragons stay away because of my scar." She said, she was wearing a sweater to hide the scar because she always worried about it. She didn't know what to say about what he said next.

Gorn looks down "I mean I've had a mate before and... I lost her and my territory to another male... She stopped him from killing me but had to leave me.." He'd look to her "Scars aren't a concern to me, it's a connection I care about." He'd smile and look to her "So if you're willing to deal with my aggressions towards males and you feel we'd work, once you and me got to know each other then I'd be lucky to have you." He'd look around "I can tell you have emotions and that you can feel love and can care."

Melina didn't expect him to say that. "It is clear that she had loved you enough to save you like that instead of letting you die. If I love someone, I would do the same. It would hurt, yes, but it is better than watching the one you love die because someone else wanted you. I understand your aggression towards other males. The thought of another male trying to take what you worked so hard for so long to get, would anger anyone." She said, a soft smile of her face. "We can only hope that our personalities work well together. I know I can care and feel all the emotions, but it doesn't change what people think."

Gorn smiles "I generally don't want to fight, me fighting the humans is just a response to their destroying the beautiful land. Anything you wish to know about me Melina?" He'd ask with a smile. His eyes much gentler than normal "Oh and Kuro, I will continue to teach Suta. I think that I understand now."

Melina shook her head. "I really can't think of anything. I just wanted to spend some time with you to get to know you pretty as a person." It seemed that Melina was being to loosen around Gorn so soon, which was good. Kuro nodded. "Alright. You don't have too today, you need to get to know Melina better. If you want, me and Suta can leave you two alone."

Gorn blinks "Only if everyone's comfortable with that." He'd say and smile. He'd lay back in his bed, his human form meaning there was way more than enough room for Melina to sit comfortably by him if she wished "I'm more than comfortable with it." He was truthfully nervous that he'd do something wrong but he tried not to show it.

Kuro shrugged. "Your choice, if you regret it later, then that is your problem." She said flatly. Melina had decided to choose to sit next to him on the large bed. She knew he was a large dragon, much larger than she was but that was good.

Gorn smiles "Be back before dark." He'd smile and look to Melina "I hope you don't think I'm just some big brute." He worried a bit about that "I am a bit nervous cause it's been a while since I've been around a female who was even mildly interested in me." He'd say and look at the bed, a bit embarrassed.

Kuro and Suta nodded and left. Melina nodded and put her hand on his shoulder, trying comfort him. "Its alright. I haven't really been around a male in a long time, let alone never had a mate before so I understand. Honestly, I am nervous too but we both need to just be ourselves." She smiled brightly and friendly.

Gorn smiles and looks to her "I'm actually not good with this sort of thing, I spent the last couple nights worrying." He'd smile "So what do ya like to do?" He'd ask trying to find conversation. He was a bit awkward with others sometimes and it was showing.

Melina thought, trying to think of something to do. "There really isn't a lot to do. I would suggest try walking around in the woods to get to know it better, but it is clear that the humans are hiding in the forest and I really don't want them to start shooting at the both of us again."

Gorn smiles "I burn them out. I can't harm the trees but they will burn." He'd bite his lip and move closer to her, not sure if this would be met well "We could just lounge around if you want, I'm most content here." he'd say with a smile "I can show you to a pond that's rather pretty if I clear us a way to it." He'd say and set his hand down, accidentally placing it on her's.

Melina nodded. "I see. It probably is better to stay here away from them. I hope Kuro and Suta are alright." She smiled, she noticed he moved closer to her but didn't move away. "It would probably better to go at night, it would most likely prettier." She offered. She notice he accidently put his hand on top of her's so, she ended up blushing about it but didn't move her hand away.
