Gorn snorts "That's generally the earth dragons... I haven't had a mate for five hundred years... I will eventually, My mate was kept from leaving.... She is probably dead now since he was a cruel male..." He sounded sorrowful then anger entered him "You're not knowledgeable of our own kind... You would do best to learn of our kind so as not to piss off an old dragon."

"Are you willing to teach him? If it keeps him alive, I'll let you." Kuro said before Suta could get a word in. Even though they both acted as though they were strangers, the look in their eyes whispered that they were indeed, close. "I don't want him to end up dead because I was unable to teach him properly about his own kind. I have very little DNA that is similar to a dragon's DNA and I also have only been around two in my whole life besides you."

Gorn laughs "I am a weakling who couldn't protect his mate and home." He looked to suta "It's about strength, if he acts all mannerly he'll be killed by most... At least if he does so with his food." He looked up "There is no way I could teach him, but I have a book written by a human who lived among dragons that he could learn from... It will take him time, more than I can give as I have to keep the humans out..."

Kuro shook her head. "That won't be enough, honestly. To teach a dragon the ways of dragons, it has to be taught by another dragon. Whatever had happened to you is a minor factor to me. The least you could do is try to teach him, I can do a favor for you in return." Kuro offered to him, seeing that it would be harder to deny a chance to have someone help you with whatever you please. "I'm sure you really aren't a weakling, you're taller than Suta at his full height and any other dragon I've heard about. It seems that you really aren't trying to find a new mate so that is the reason why you haven't found one yet, not because you couldn't protect your last one."

Gorn shifted in anger "You push for a weakling to help." He snarled a bit angrily then his voice entered her head How would you even be able to help me! I may be tall but I'm too weak to help my last mate now just like then. He shifted back "Sorry I lose my temper some times.... If you ca give me an honest answer to what I asked, or more so yelled then your pushing will not be for nothing." The male still sounded angry "It won't be a gentle thing for him, he could be hurt in the process."

Kuro sighed. "I lose my temper as well, it isn't hard to do. I honestly don't believe that you are weak. You might have not been able to get a hold of me, most likely because I can move fast and have a thin frame, but, to be frank, I believe you couldn't protect her because she didn't let you." Kuro was smarter than she looked and was determined to have him teach Suta. "I can easily keep the humans away without using fear, seeing as offering a compromise probably isn't your thing.

Gorn laughed "They care nothing but for themselves, I eat a few of them, it makes them stay away. Those humans want the wood and animals, they think they need to control the population of animals..." He looked up "You can't convince them to stay away from my forest, they want what they can take... I could wipe them out but I don't wish to, I wish them to stay on their own land, they can't seem to do that..." He frowned "She stopped him but I was losing, she stopped him from killing me, it's all that she could do..." He looked down "I felt betrayed so no I don't look for a new mate."

Kuro grinned. "How about I try to find you a new mate, then? It really couldn't be that hard. What happened in the past stays in the past, alright? Your old mate had loved you enough to stop you from getting kill and leave you to keep you alive, no? Don't feel betrayed, if she didn't want you alive and to move on, she wouldn't have stopped that other dragon from killing you or tried to have left with you. You have to think of it like that." She said, putting her hands on her hips, she now had something to strive for, she wasn't going to give up any time soon.

Gorn looks to her "It was pity or maybe mercy... She shouldn't have shown any... He only let me live to take her..." He growled a bit "A new mate would only make me weaker.." He closed his eyes and the trees swayed a bit "If you think that it wouldn't, you'd have to find one that was not willing to betray me..." He lowered his head as the tres stopped "I will teach him, but remember I will remember this deal."

Kuro nodded. "Alright. I'll won't stop till I find you a mate. It won't be easy, but nothing is impossible." She said, with a smile. Her face then turned serious. "Also, no matter what you say, I don't believe she betrayed you like you think. If she didn't love you, she would have let you died. I have met many different types of girls and I know that no matter her personality, there isn't a single woman who would let a man live if they were going to leave them unless they loved them." She said, then smiled.

Gorn looks to her "It would have been better to let me die." He looked down "He will be hurt a bit by the end..." He frowned a bit "I didn't think I'd have anyone to teach..." He thought "It is still a betrayal..." He shrugs "I would like to know how you plan to accomplish it though..." He looked around "First, you will have to find your own territory, it is generally a large area. Some have control with a female, others on their own, but rarely do two males have overlapping territory, at least from what I've seen."

Kuro was a little shocked with all the different things he said at once but she could tell what he was saying. "I understand that, I don't believe dragons need to be weak. What use is a dragon if they are weak?" She said with a shrug. "Also, I have my ways. I have a friend that can help you out, she knows a female dragon that it is very kind woman and really can't ever hurt someone like that, it just is how she is." She said with a grin.

Gorn shakes his head "She would end up giving the same betrayal, even if out of love..." He looked to Suta "Your learning is to begin with respect.... You show respect to Dragons of a specific age and up... I am of that age... the older the dragon, the more respectful you should be.. An elder is often noticable. They often have a bit more tattered wings... Scars are also often on their body, Some were lucky enough to escape with only claws missing."

Kuro rolled her eyes. "You need to have faith in yourself, Gorn. To be honest, to get a female dragon, you have to have a kinder personality towards them." She said with a sigh, seeing that she had to work on Gorn as well with how he acts.

Suta nodded. "I see. That shouldn't be too hard as long as it doesn't cause me to have to be at their beck and call because that I won't do."

Gorn laughs "I am kind to females, they aren't a threat..." He'd then try to swat Suta "Respect is in how you speak to them and how you act toward them." The dragon looked to her "You I thought human and that's why I tried to smash you." Gorn looked to Suta "You don't have to do anything except leave if you are told... It is considered a threat if you don't..." He'd think back "Announcing yourself is considered polite."

Kuro nodded. "I see, well now you know that I might look human, I am only half human. Most can tell by my right eye but I keep that hidden." She said with a shrug. Her red eye had the look as though there was nothing but wrath and blood lust in it, as though there were no other emotions she could feel. Suta rubbed where Gorn swat him, and nodded. "Alright, alright. I generally blunt so that is gonna be hard. I will announce myself and leave when told to."

Gorn smiles "It will either be you stop or an elder will smash you. Respect is important." He'd shrug "I can't teach him it all in one night... I will have to work with him on some things over time." He shrugged "Generally these are taught from parent to child..." The male looked around "You two should follow me to my home so that we won't be bothered."

Suta didn't like that but he knew Kuro would be the one he would need to fear if he didn't do it. He sighed and nodded. "Alright. That will take some time."
Kuro nodded. "Okay, that is fine. It will give me time to get in contact with my friend and the dragon. I'm sure it will take a couple days." She knew this was a challange.

Gorn nods and then looks to Suta "You know that you can't approach another male without it." Gorn looked up "I wouldn't be surprised if you failed. We dragons are becoming fewer and fewer." He shrugs "I think that you should come back to my lair though." He'd shift and lower his wing "This way we can make sure you learn in a safer environment." He looked to Kuro "I don't think the task easy unless you have contacts who know dragons.."

Suta nodded. He shifted into his dragon from and flew up beside Gorn's head while Kuro got on his back. "You mustn't been listening, I have a friend who knows a female dragon. She's about nine hundred years old and hasn't had a mate before, so she is looking now, but she has her standards and limits." She said with a shrug.
