Zayala walked along the narrow city streets, headed to work, and nodded her head to the fantastic music coming from her earbuds. She had the strangest feeling for quite sometime now that something was missing from her life, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Letting that thought stray from her mind, she continued up the street to a dead end and climbed a rusty, rickety ladder leading up the aged brick wall, hidden behind a couple boxes, and jumped down the other side. She had always took that way to work since she almost got killed in an alley way when she took a detour before. Whistling to herself, she didn't notice a rather large shadow following her from the alley way and continued on her way to work.
Just on the other side of the street, the wolf boy was walking, hands in his pockets, towards the very place that Zayala DJed at.
His ears twitched as he started sensing something more malign. He wasn't sure what it was, but he stopped and looked around, a low growl forming in his throat. That was when he spotted Zayala and the one making the shadow behind her.
"Miss! Look out!" he called to her, his Swiss Army knife in hand and flying towards Zayala's attacker before he even finished his sentence. It landed it's mark, hitting the person in the shoulder and Andrew rushed to the girl's side, taking her hand in his, "Come on!" he started pulling her away.

Zayala was shocked when the boy threw the knife and she quickly ducked, thinking it was coming for her. When she heard the inhuman grunt from behind her she turned around and the evil red eyes of the hunter. "SH!T!" She yelled as she was dragged a couple feet away by the boy who threw the knife. The Hunter held his shoulder and brought out a knife of his own, glittering with silver and flecked blood on its surface meant for werewolves. He aimed his arm at her heart, but before he could throw it Zayala did a front-flip onto his head and shot fire into his eye sockets, permanently blinding him. "LETS GO! HE WILL RECOVER FROM THE BLINDING EVENTUALLY!" Zayala said laughing as she dragged Andrew into the nearby club, and to safety.
"What the hell?!" he exclaimed. It had happened pretty fast and suddenly She was pulling him, "What on Earth just happened?" he asked, running his temples.
"A hunter." Zayala said simply as she adjusted her dress and let go of Andrew. "I'm Zayala, and I can tel from your scent that your not fully human. And your appearance." She said with a wink walking away to the DJ table. "Why are the hunters always after me?" she asked herself getting on the DJ table and laying out some new beats for the people of the club. They all were surprised to see her up there after what happened last time, A hunter had barged in and fired random bullets all over the place, mostly going for Zayala. The police had shown up and nobody was there and Zayala was sitting in a ring of bullet holes. The people stopped staring and accepted her new music and danced to the rad beat.
"What? I know I'm not human. Everyone knows I'm not human. I'm a wolf," he said, sounding confused and pointed out several other people, "She's a tiger, that guy is a horse. That girl is a German shepherd," he looked at the other anthros around the room. There were quite a few.
"Aren't you young to be a DJ?" he called up to her, "For a club?"
"Aren't you young to be a DJ?" he called up to her, "For a club?"
"Not if I'm being taken care of by the owner." Zayala said with a wink as she flipped open her phone and went to a picture of the owner on her contact list. "Micheal (Aka, Dad)" it said with a picture of him. "He is ok, but I'll be leaving soon for another city.
"Why?" he asked, already starting to like this girl and he wasn't sure why.
Zayala took out her locket and opened it, a piece of paper fluttering into her outstretched hand. "I found this little piece of paper in my locket a couple days ago, I didn't put it in there it sorta just appeared in there. It says a single word, but I think it's a clue to my past." Zayala said handing him the paper, the word on it was "Sister". She bit her lower lip thinking while he looked at the paper.
"I wish I could help..." he said, "But... Is there any way that you would stay here?"
"Not once chance." Zayala said with a chuckle. "If you want you can tag along." She added, spinning the record to create a cool effect.
"I would actually like too... But... I have a family here..." he said, "I can't just leave them... And I barely know you..."
"Mhmk." Zayala said as the people danced to the music. "Want to give it a try?" she asked stepping down from the table and making room for Andrew to get up.
"Um... Okay," he said quietly, "I guess I can try," he said nervously, "How do I do that?"
"Here let Luna show you." Zayala said as Luna appeared from under the table, a tired look on her face. "Shes my Midnight Angel, she is awesome at the turn tables. Oh Max," she said referring to her little brown haired Baby Angel under the table. "Watch Luna and make sure she doesn't get in trouble." Zayala said as she walked into the mass of people dancing and started to dance herself.
Luna looked at Andrew and sat on the records. "Who are you?" she asked as she stood up and jumped over to the volume dial. "Turn this up some." she pointed to the dial.

(x3 okay)
Andrew let out a startled bark as they appeared, but saw no reason to run. Weird things were happening though.
"Um.. I'm Andrew... I guess I tried to save that girl from what she called a Hunter..." he said as he followed her instruction and turned the dial up.

Luna uttered a small scream and hid behind Andrews hand. "I hate the hunters, they are always trying to take her places." Luna said as she calmed down a bit. "Ok," she hopped over to the mass of dials. "Do you have an iPod or iPhone?" she asked looking at Andrew.
Zayala continued dancing oblivious to the pounding of footsteps outside the door, or to the quiet reloading of mags outside the back exit. All hell was about to break loose.

If the music had been quieter... considerably quieter, Andrew, as well as the various other anthros, would have been able to hear the sounds, but the music definitely drowned everything out.
"One second I'm getting pulled away from a guy with burning eyes, now I'm spinning records..." he sighed, "Yeah, I've got an iPod," he said and pulled the MP3 player out of his pocket.

"Ok plug it in and-" Luna got cut off by everything going dark and the doors being busted in. "OH MY GOD! THE HUNTERS ARE HERE!!" Luna screamed frantically as she disappeared into thin air, leaving them for now. Max and Zayla came out from under the turn tables to see the Hunters spreading out in a circle around Layala.
Zayala stopped dancing when the lights turned out and saw the hunters form around her. "Sh!t there are two many of them." she said to herself worriedly as people ran out of the open doors, the hunters letting them pass until it was them, Layala, Max, Zayla, and Andrew left in the club. One of the hunters took a small step forward and aimed his gun at her face. "Come with us quietly and we will spare your friend." he said redirecting his gun at Andrew's heart, Hunters never miss their mark.
