The Witch (played anonymously)

There was a party under way at the mansion to which each of the fifteen guests had been invited. A band played music from behind a white curtain, their silhouettes contrasting in color. Nobody knew who the host was for they had kept themself anonymous, but did anybody at this fabulous party really care? Even though nobody knew eachother, the food was great and drinks were readily provided for everyone. The last four people on the guest list were Archur, Adrien, Remember, and Takurasho. These guests were well tended to for this first hour, but things were about to get bad. Very, very bad.
Dralt (played by Libertine)

Takurasho had nearly discarded the invitation upon first discovering it in the mail. He wasn't one for social gatherings, or anything involving socializing for that matter, so it seemed strange to him.
He changed his mind immediately after noticing at the address.
He was vaguely familiar with the rumors encircling the peculiar mansion. He'd heard tales of ghosts, a witch, mysterious disappearances... in other words, "the usual". But as an enthusiast of the occult, he regarded this as an opportunity to test the mettle of such whispers.

The austere character would arrive in fairly bland attire- tasteful, but minimal, & certainly not suiting a "party atmosphere". His slightly wavy locks of pale hair were tied back neatly from his face. Takurasho would not be seen mingling, dancing, or consuming alcohol. Instead he preoccupied himself with snooping about the ballroom. A notebook in hand, he examined all details to include any artwork as well as the over-all design of the room, scribbling notes all the while. Occasionally one might notice him pressing his ear to the wall & even knocking on it, though there was no telling what exactly he was looking for.

What a weird guy.
Archur was sitting alone in a chair in the back area of the room. He seemed to be the only person there of his age and he wondered why he had even been invited to this party in the first place. A let out a bored sigh and took a sip of his punch.
He was startled when someone else walked in, having assumed everyone was there. He eyed the pale haired man for a moment then returbed his focus to the cup in his hands.
Remember Reason (played anonymously)

Remember could possibly pass as Takurasho's sibling, now that I think of it. Her own hair was pale, devoid completely of color, while her eyes were pale as well. Her flesh was ghastly and her clothes were dark and simple. The dress she wore reached her knees and was plain black in color. It flared out a bit, the hem of both the bell sleeves and bottom part of the dress tipped in black lace. It was the same around her neck as well. ((Like this but with each hem being black lace.))

Her shoes were simple black boots and she wore a white scarf despite the heat. Her hair was probably the least neat thing about her - put up in a messy bun that hinted she cared little for the state of it. Upon discovering the invitation, Remember was a little skeptical, but thought there was no use in not checking it out. A free event to go to? It seemed like some sort of trick, like she would have to pay at the end or that entry was free but all food and games were expensive. But no, when she arrived, she was surprised to find that, although the host wasn't present, there weren't many limitations on what she could do.

Again, like Takurasho, the woman, too, seemed to carry a little notebook with her. Though unlike him, she'd not jot much down. Not yet. She was mostly talking to herself as she observed the place, feeling a little under-dressed and over-dressed at the same time.

She blathered a little about ghosts and a plot of sorts that she seemed to be putting together aloud. It was evident she was a very imaginative person, but her consistent repetition of ghosts and spirits seemed to indicate that she favored writing those the best. Or maybe she was always hoping to find something paranormal? Probably.

((I swear I'm not copying off the guy lmao!))

Having only recently moved to town Ardien was more than surprised when his Aunt handed him the invitation. After reading it the teen wasn't entirely sure if he wished to go, however seeing the envious look in his elder sisters eye spurred him into going. He chose a black jacket and an off white dress shirt which featured red and black skulls printed on it. He also wore a pair of blue jeans and a comfortable pair of running shoes. Upon arriving he cast his bluish green eyes around the room and realized he was the youngest one here. At 13 poor Adrien looked like a ten year old, he looked very out of place at the party. When he sighted another teen sitting by himself he was relieved.

The Witch smiled from where she watched in the rafters. Nobody would notice her, she hid in the dark, but now with everyone here it was time to start the fun. The Witch changed her position from sitting. She drapped herself over the rail, the wooden beam placed right in the stomache as she watched for a second.

With her powers she stopped the music and waited for the silence to overwhelm the room. "What's my name?" called the voice of a little girl. This call echoed through out the ball room, every door closing at once. A great wind blew out the candles throughout the ballroom, leaving only a great chandelier in the middle of the room. The sillouhetes faded into the curtain's shadows.

The strange man seemed perturbed as he passed by Adrien, then Archur. Each was given a brief but questioning glance. Children? What were children doing at this sort of gathering? They didn't appear to be accompanied by adults, but even if they'd come with someone older, why?
Often tending to become over-analytic, Takurasho was distracted from his spook hunt. He'd turn to survey the rest of the crowd carefully. They were certainly mismatched, persons of all dress & age present, a great melting pot of classes & lifelines. It would appear their host had sent out invitations with wild abandon, having no specific audience in mind. "Peculiar..." he'd murmur uneasily to himself. He was starting to get the feeling that this had been a terrible idea.
It wasn't long before this thought was confirmed.

As the doors closed & the lights dimmed, Takurasho would press his back to the nearest wall. Goosebumps raced up his pale arms despite his coat. Grey eyes narrowed, countenance displaying a deep scowl, surprise conveyed as agitation.

The presence of children bothered her on a maternal level - no adults accompanying them? What kind of parents did they have? With a shake of her head, her attention was pulled elsewhere as she continued her ramblings and wandering about.

That is, of course, until the lights dimmed and the voice rang throughout the air. It was strange, almost hammy, but not frightening just yet. Remember started cackling.

CACKLING! Well, quietly of course. This was just a thing she did when she thought the paranormal was at work. She wasn't sure whether to answer the question, though, so she began to think of a name fitting enough for a child. It'd likely be wrong when she did guess, mainly because her idea of names weren't standard. No "Sarah" or "Anna" or anything. More like "Erzabet."

((From this point on I will no longer wait for everyone to post. This is where the game truly starts. Best of luck to you all.))

The Witch disappeared from her spot I the rafters where no one could see her. After a minute of silence a girl appeared in the middle of the room, crying. As she stood there sobbing and cradling an object in her hands, the las remaining lights flickered but didn't go out. The girl looked up at the crowd with 'help me' eyes. "What's my name?" She pleaded. She dropped the object she was holding into the dark as it rolled to the wall. Nobody could see this yet, for nobody had gotten close enoug to see it, but is was the head of one of the unnamed guests. His body was slumped in the dark on the opposite side.

The Witch didn't really give anyone time to answer. "WHAT'S MY NAME?!" She screamed out at everyone. The shriek pierced the ears of anyone nearby. She stopped yelling and stood there while the curtain fell behind her. While it was dark, there wa jus enough light to see the skeletal figures that continued to play their instruments even though no sound came out. Each black boned socket glowed red at the audience. The little girl herself had a bit of the man's blood on her.

There were now fourteen toys.
(I hope I can keep up)

Archer jumped out of his seat when the little girl's voice rang through the hall. The wind that had blown out the candles sent a shiver down his spine and chilled his very soul.
When the dim light reappeared to reveal the bloody little girl, Archur decided he'd had enough of this party and started for the door.

(My work schedule is a bit erratic, I will respond as soon as I possibly can, no biggie if poor adrien gets on the chopping block so yo speak)

Adrien had been making his way across the room to the only other person who seemed to be in his age group when the music stopped. The young teen froze in his step as the voice of a child rang out, turning he began searching for the child but this was cut short because the room went dark, save the chandelier. A shutter ran through Adrien, he had a deep rooted fear of the dark, he was about to move into he pool of light provided by the chandlier when a sobbing child appeared.

The hair on the back of his neck stood up, so much was happening at once it was a little hard to process, but he knew he was sacred. Then the shreeking started he pressed his hands to his ears, he startled and stumbled back landing in his rear.

The girl noticed the retreating guest and laughed a laugh that chilled the air, literally. The girl lifted a hand and pointed it at him. The severed head flew from its spot and rammed into the one moving for the door wit enough force to knock him off of his feet. The head landed by his side, then the witch disappeared again. Something jumpe on the back of a guest and bit her neck. She let out a scream as she fell to the floor, bleeding out. Then it was on another's back as it twisted his head with an audible crack.

Then te creature reappeared over Archur. If was a teenage girl in ragged clothes. "Am I pretty enough?" She whispere in his ear. The blood on her lips brushed off on his ear. Her clothes that were left were tattered and ragged. The long, dangerous fingers were as bloody as her lips as she stood up. "I like you Archur," she said as she softly dragged a sharp pointed finger across his cheek, "So why don't we play a game?"

The teenager disappeared and the little girl stood inter the chandelier again. "I want to play with my friends," se said innocently. "I want to try out my new toys," she continued. "I WANT TO MAKE MORE GHOSTS" she yelled before calming down. "I will let one of you leave her," the witch informed te group as she smiled. "I get to kill the rest! It's suc a fun game," she giggles as she looks up. The chandelier stared to shake as all of the glass became loose. It shot off of the gold looking metal and towards a group of guests. Three more died with glad spears in them. "Let's start!" The doors opened as the house reverted to looking as run down as it was, with broken tables and torn wall paper.

There were nine guests left.

Takurasho swore softly under his breath as the chaos ensued. His pale gaze darted frantically about the room, desperately attempting to keep up with the murderous creature as it darted from one guest to the next, slaughtering mercilessly. He seemed frozen from shock until a light splattering of blood was dashed across his face from the ensuing carnage. He flinched, then seemed spurred into action. Lengthy legs carried him in a hasty stride for the nearest window. The man lifted up a decrepit wooden chair, prepared to fling it with all his might against the glass. That was when the Witch announced her terms.

A game?

But what were the rules? What was the objective, for that matter? He shook his head- no, now was not the time to over-analyze. Takurasho withheld his group on the chair as though intending to use it as a shield, slinking warily towards the door. What if it's a trap? that obnoxious voice of hyper observance questioned. Another pause. No... there aren't many other options. May as well go for it. Otherwise hesitation would surely be the death of him. Now was the time for blind action... as much as he hated to admit it. He hugged close to the wall as he rapidly paced towards the door, keeping the chair held up between himself & that terrifying little girl at the center of the room.

The girl appeared in front of Takurasho and his chair. "Are you scared?" she teased. "You can still leave here. The road is on te other side of the forest." She was not lying either. Every guest had to pass the forest to get here, the road really was on the other side. The girl smiled at him, "would you like me to open the door for you?" Her voice was cuter than her creepy appearance. Unlike the other times she didn't blink away.
Dralt (played by Libertine)

Takurasho would jolt to a halt as she appeared before him, swinging the chair back out of reflex but stopping as he eyed her. She had the body of a child- terribly familiar to a little girl he'd known before- & he seemed to be struggling between whether or not he should try attacking her. He had a feeling he'd be dead if he even tried.
"I... yes," he muttered nervously, adding a forced "please". Occult enthusiast or not, he'd found far more than he'd bargained for when he'd accepted that invitation. The wisest path seemed to go along with her game, get out of here, & find his way back to civilization as quickly as possible.
His frown had deepened. Takurasho carefully calmed his breathing in an attempt to stabilize his rapidly beating heart.

The large double doors in the connected room opened up to the night's darkness. The black, burned looking trees filled the view from the door. "Then out you go," she chirped, then disappeared and reapeared under the chanellier again. "Would anyone else like to leave too?" This recieved several nods from some unnamed guests. Three of them went and stood by Takurasho to go outside. "I'll close the doors after you!" A smile grew on the child's face.
Dralt (played by Libertine)

The man's grey eyes narrowed, tracing the witch with mounting suspicion. It couldn't possibly be that simple. He'd quietly shift to the back of the group- behind the other three- allowing them to head for the door. Unbeknownst to them, he did not follow. It seemed too good to be true, so he'd carefully watch as each of them passed through the doorway, waiting with bated breath to see if some misfortune befell them.
Archur was surprised and scared as he was on the ground, the teenage girl above him. Of he had time to answer, he would have honestly answered yes. Sure, she was covered in blood, and evil... That didn't mean she wasn't pretty.
Once he was free though, he scrambled towards the rest of the guests, shivering and shaking with fear.

The trio of unnamed guests left quickly and quietly, just wanting things to be over. The girl smiled as the heavy doors slammed shut behind them. The darkness peeled off of the trees closest to the house and formed shapes. Huge dark beasts lumbered towards the three as they tried to get back into the mansion. Their screams sounded in unison and the girl clapped in delight until the shrieks of pain ended and blood covered the windows. The Witch smiled. "You really should all run." She vanished and the teenager reappeared on a nameless guests back again, tearing her throat out. The last unnamed guest tried to run but tripped over a corpse and split his head open on a table. "Let's make the rest interesting." She vanished entirely.

There were four guests.
Archur watched in shear terror as the guests died. "W-what the hell?!" he called out and backed away, trying to just get into a corner. "What did we do?!"
