Hi there!
I think this goes into Art and Creativity, since it deals with commission flow and things... but if I need to re-make it in something like Small Talk, I will ^^;

So going into 2020, I've been thinking of changing my commission acceptance process a little bit!

This being said, I spent all last night and a little bit of this morning making a cool information-filled google doc, as well as a commission form that's more direct when it comes to how I receive information from my clients!

This all being said: I'd like as many people to test this out for me as possible in as realistic a way as possible, to see how I need to edit / change this method before 2020.

WHAT I'M ASKING:
-Read over the given document. Do you have any critiques on it? Do you see anything that you think needs to be added, needs clarification, or seems redundant? Something else? Let me know!!

-Read over the Submission Form. Do you have any critiques on it? Do you think you have more information to give that I don't have a spot for? Do you think a question should / should not be required, when it isn't already? Do you think some of the questions are in a weird order? Typos???? Let me know!!

-Please submit a response (or several) to that form! I'd like this to be as filled out as possible! Fill this out as if you were actually commissioning me to the best of your abilities! This includes things like character references, personality, etc. Fill this out as if, if money were no object, you were getting a product from me!

Please note: On the form, it asks for a paypal / separate email. You don't have to fill this out correctly. This can be just a "Paypal Email @ Paypal" word for word if you want. Tell me your favorite animal, or your favorite color, whatever! You don't have to fill the email prompts out correctly for testing c:

Going to have a look and test this for you now. I'll use the username Mintelle so you know it's me.

Edit: So, after going over your commission form I'm pleased to say I had no issues with interpreting or understanding anything that was written or shown there. It's all very clear and well presented. The only thing I wanted to mention was that for me at least, it took a little while to load all the images in. But that may just be because my laptop is ancient ^^; Either way, I thought I'd just point it out in case someone else mentions it.

The commission form is clear and to the point. I didn't feel confused at anything you were asking (and in all honesty, you've inspired me to create my own form for my commissions, much easier way of doing things!). The only thing I'd suggest is possibly adding an "anything else" box. So a section where your commissioner can provide you with any extra information they feel may not have been covered by the prior options.

I hope this helps.
I just submitted under my instagram username, DesignerDragon126.

The commission forum is really well thought out, precise, and easy to read! I had no trouble understanding what was being asked or said as I read through it and you covered every question I could think of. You did really well on it and I hope that everyone's submission testing helps out! :) I used my newest dnd character lol

Over all though it was a LOT of information to go through, it was laid out very well. However the big picture of commission types and prices would only load halfway on my laptop even after 10 minutes, and on my phone loaded but was very blurry even when I opened it up in a new tab, and I couldn't read it.

The commission submission form was easy to use and made sense. I side with making having a extra 'anything else?' text box at the end.

irrelevant note: also I filled out the 'time restraint' thing and put 01 19 2019 because I literally forgot it was already 2019 XD ahahah

I'll definitely go edit these then! I did use my large files for the images, but I thought since it was cropped down, in a way, that wouldn't much matter... guess not xD Thank you!

Noted, I'll add! I actually meant to when I made it and then talked myself out of it... probably shouldn't have XD

Would you say it was too much information to go through? And if so, do you have any suggestions on what you thought might be unnecessary and/or unnecessarily wordy? If not, that's fine! But I'm curious if it's a lot of information in a "Wow this is informative" way or a "Holy crap I am not reading all of this" type of way xD

I'd say that it might be a 'yeah nevermind' to someone who doesn't actually care whether they commission you or not. But for me and anyone who is genuinely interested and cares about commissioning you, it's a lot of information but not enough to turn us away.

And you're very welcome! I'm thinking of making one of these myself when I start commissions ^-^
