Here's a bit of an explanation:
Reason #1 for this thread is because I'm doing several aspects of design for an Art Course project. One of these aspects includes, for me, character design; 3d, 2d, modeling...and me being the child I am, have decided to *make* the jacket of a YouTuber's "character" that inspired one of my OC designs. cough cough thomas sanders long story short, me and my teacher have had too many problems with Emails, Google Docs, Dropbox and pretty much any other form of communication, and she already knows about RPR because... so, time-kept updates, she knows my account, and it's as easy as just providing her with a link.
TDLR: I'm keeping it here because it's easy to link back to my teacher to show dedication and skills and that i CAN do stuff I've never done before and I need a better grade so...Comment if you want, i dont really mind...
My Aim: The jacket that inspired the design. Note these images are NOT mine, simply images that I have found from google that other people have posted of the same jacket they have made.
The aim is to recreate the jacket of Virgil/Thomas Sanders, which partly inspired the design of the OC used within my project. Despite the slight randomness to the design, it is simple and noticable; much like the character herself is. This jacket design also fits in with the project theme of Order & Disorder, as the patches are random, different sizes, and the 'stitches' within them have no pattern or organisation to them at all.
Thomas Sanders is an American YouTuber who does a variety of different series, along with challenges, reactions and reviews on his second channel. Virgil Sanders is a character from one of his series "Sanders Sides" in which he has split himself into six different personality traits (with perhaps more hinted at within videos): Anxiety (Virgil), Logic (Logan), Morality (Patton), Creativity (Roman), The Duke (Remus) and Deceit. Each side is a personality trait with their own name; Virgil being Thomas' anxiety 'disorder'. He is considered the "emo" or "goth" character of the series, being very angst-y and always very anxious and/or paranoid. This character is similar in personality to my own, as she herself is always very paranoid, shut off, and tries to use the fear tactic as a way to stay safe and alone. Her personality and mannerisms can be very random at periods, and very disorganised.

I'm pretty sure that's it... I'm putting a lot of thought into this, especially because I've never done anything closing wise aside from cut holes into my jeans because ripped jeans are non-existent in my city.
Yep. I guess in a way this is a bit of cosplay? While I'm showing my skillset to my teacher for a better grade, cosplay has always been something I've loved to watch people do. Might find a way to incorperate this into the last day of school, since some of my friends are cosplaying too...we'll see, I suppose.
