Jacob could tell that Casey was thinking about what her father did, but he didn't want her to. He didn't want her to think of that at all. All he wanted her to do was be happy. "Hey, want breakfast? I can make something for you,"

Casey looked up at him and blushed then smiled. She gently kissed his cheek. "How about you tell me." She grinned at him, wrapping her arms around him neck, letting them drape over his shoulders, holding her hands together. She was glad that she didn't have to worry anything about that now, just to have a few days of bliss for the weekend with Jacob.

Jacob smiled, and looked up behind him to see Casey kneeling there behind him, and he put his hands on hers. They were warm. "Oh, I'd say you liked it a helluva lot, no?" Jacob said and smiled. He would give her the best weekend she ever had in her life, and it would be all the better because she was here, with him.

Casey smiled, then kissed his cheek. She was happy to be here with Jacob, it actually made her happier than she has been in a long time. For her, to feel so cared for and loved, it was better than anything, because she didn't get that at home, her friends cared and loved her, so did her brother, but it was different when it was past just a friendship or family way of love. "Yes, I did." She purred in his ear, smiling.

Jacob raised both eyebrows twice, and had that look in his eyes that spoke confidence and fun. He was finally in a place where he could be cared for, and loved for who he was. He could finally love and care for someone because he wanted to be with her, and not because he was a burden. "You want something to eat, hon?"

Casey looked up at him, seeing the look in his eyes. She gently kissed him then released him. She pulled herself up on top of the counter, smiling at him. She nodded. "Yes please." She said, a smiled still on her face. She was glad to be hear with him, she knew it was going to be a great weekend, she wished she could stay here, but not while her father was like this.

"Lemme go get something ready, then, hmm? Home made. Pancakes, bacon, and eggs sound good?" Jacob said, getting up and going to the door. He wished her father was not a horrible person. If Jacob couldn't have Casey without that man all over, he was going to go crazy. Maybe later he would talk to him.

Casey nodded. "Alright, do you want me to help?" She asked, putting on leg up to stop him from leaving. She grinned at him. She was always the weird girl that would do such random things just to mess with people, more for those that she cared about. But, everyone who knew her, loved her all the same, even with her goofy and silly ways.

"Casey, help would be very much ap- leg... Leg," Jacob said, looking down at the leg that was stopping him from moving. As much as he liked that, he did want to get breakfast soon. He, too was crazy half the time, but this was a new level of crazy. One that he very much enjoyed, and wished he could be.

Casey grinned at Jacob, seeing his reaction to her having her leg in front of him. "Do you not like having my leg in the ways?" She said, smiling. Her friends pointed out how weird she was, and were weird with her right back, at least, those who were her true friends.

"Casey, you have no idea how much I like that," Jacob said, and it had a double meaning to it. He looked at the person who was the owner of the leg, and smiled a confident and smart smile, putting his fingers on the skin. "So, would this leg care to help me make breakfast?"

Casey rolled her eyes with a grin. She put her leg down and hopped off the counter. "I am going to help, my whole body, not just my leg." She with a grin. She gently kissed his cheek. "Let's go ahead and get the stuff we need, hun."

"Even better! Hey, can you get the pancake mix? It's in the pantry. I'll get the eggs and bacon started, okay?" Jacob kissed her cheek, and smiled again, bending down to get the pans from his cabinets, then putting them on the stove and turning it on. He went to the freezer to get the bacon and eggs.

"Alright." Casey smiled and got the pancake mix and set it down on the counter. "I'll get the milk." She said, going to the fridge and grabbed the milk and some glasses down. She then fixed some milk for both of them.

He put the eggs on the frying pan first, cracking them and letting their insides go everywhere. "How you like your eggs?" Jacob asked, making himself his own eggs. Since there was pancakes, he began scrambling them, smashing the yolks open with the spatula, and mixing them up. He had the water running on hot, and it was filling up the sink. He turned off the water. And put the packet of bacon in the water, waiting for it to soften up.

"Scrambled please." Casey said, trying get to the plates down. It isn't always easy for her to reach them, she was on tippy toes, reaching for them. She finally got them, then put them down on the counter.

"Scrambled I can do," Jacob said, and put the massive amount of scrambled eggs on the counter. Soon, they had made the bacon, the smell filling the room. He set down the plates at the table, and began eating with Casey right there. It was a good little meal they made. "Hey, Case. What do you want to do today?"

Casey thought about his question while they ate. "Hm. Don't know. You have anything in mind?" She asked, with a gentle smile.

"How'd you like to drive out to Chicago? I have a car with me. It wouldn't be too long of a drive, only one or two hours, but we'd be talking, most likely," He responded, smiling again, but then eating his bacon slice. He was hungry.

Casey shrugged. "Sounds like fun to me." She said with a smile. She then finished her food, there was a bit left on her plate so she threw it away and began doing the dishes.
