"Please, don't be. It was an accident. I just need to rest, okay? Tomorrow, I'll be good as new," Jacob said, looking around. He needed his bed. Badly.
"I can help you to your bed, if you want. I want to help." Casey couldn't help but feel guilty about that, accident or not, she still felt sorry for doing that.
"Thank you, Casey. Could you please? Thanks. Maybe tomorrow, I will have a surprise for you," Jacob said, and held out his hand. He was glad that if there was anyone to help him, it was going to be her. The best thing that happened to him.
Casey nodded and took his hand, wrapping his arm around her shoulders for support. "You don't have to do anything for me, it is my pleasure to help you out." She smiled at him, helping Jacob to the bedroom. She pulled the covers back and helped him sit down on the bed then lay down, then pulled the covers on him.
"But oh, Casey, I want to," Jacob said, kissing her cheek as he slid into the bed. True, he did have a surprise for her later, but he didn't know what he should do then. So, he just wanted to rest right now. It was better that way, anyways. Better to sleep, and forget about the pain, then stay up, and feel it all day long.
Casey rolled her eyes with a grin on her face. She kissed his forehead. "Just get some sleep, alright? I'll go fix something to eat for when you wake up." She said before she stood up and went to doorway. She looked back to see if Jacob was asleep then left the room, closing the door behind her.
"Okay, Casey. I still love you, no matter what," Jacob said, and rolled over onto his back, falling asleep soon. He dreamed a beautiful dream, thinking about all the good things that happened over his life. He dreamed about first meeting Casey, then the night they had together. It was an awesome night that he would always remember. He woke up the next day, rested, and numb of pain.
Casey smiled as she heard him say that. She decided that it will be awhile before he wakes up so she sat down on the couch and began to read a book that she had brought. It wasn't long before she had fallen asleep with the book laying on her chest, but, sadly, her dreams didn't come to her, they were left blank.
He moaned, and stretched. He didn't know if Casey was up or not, or what she was doing, but he hoped she felt okay. He got up out of bed. No pain down below. He opened the door. So far, so good. Then came the tricky part. Trying to get a cup of coffee from his kitchen without waking her up.
That was going to be hard, Casey was a light sleeper and was easily woken unless she was in a deep sleep. She had one arm over her eyes and the other laying across her stomach as she slept.
Jacob tiptoed across the room, trying to get to the other side. He made as little noise as possible, but if she woke, he didn't know what to do. Maybe yell something weird, and jump on top of her in a big hug, probably.
Casey was still asleep, but she turned over, making the book on her chest fall to the ground. Her eyes fluttered open and she sat up. "Oh, you're awake. Good morning." She said, smiling at Jacob when she saw him.
"Ahh! But what do you mean by Good Morning? Is it perhaps a good morning, or are you simply wishing me a morning to be good on, or perhaps, this is a particular morning to be good on?" Jacob chuckled, and held out his hand for her to hold, and to help her to stand up.
Casey was a bit confused by that but just rolled her eyes and took his hand, standing up. "Are you going to try to confuse me every morning?" She asked with a grin. "How are you feeling?" She asked, still concerned about what had happened to him.
((You? You never kneed my nuts)
"Perhaps I shall. Perhaps I won't. That's the beauty of the future. You never know what will happen," Jacob said, and chuckled again, putting his arm around her. "I feel so damn good right now, Casey. I've been good this entire time you stayed at my house."

((Shhhhh. I didn't do anything.))
Casey rolled her eyes. "Well, I wished you a good morning." She said, grinning at Jacob. She blushed at what he said and kissed him on the cheek. "That's good to hear. I'm sorry for what had happened." She said, still feeling guilty about what had happened.

"Yes you did, and to you, a good morning I wish. A very damned good morning, indeed," He hugged her close to him, and smiled widely. He smiled, and nodded. "I know. But yesterday don't matter if it's gone,"
Casey smiled at Jacob, hugging him back. "Alright, now what gives? You're being more affectionate than usual, Jacob." She said, he couldn't hide anything from her. She noticed when he was acting different.
"Okay, you've got me. I'm in love, eh? I love you, and this is how I show it. By being affectionate to you," And he kissed her forehead, holding her hands. He hugged her closer to him, and sighed, putting his head on hers. "I'm so happy you live with me, Casey. I don't want it any other way,"
Casey blushed at all that he said and smiled at him. She hugged him back, closing her eyes. "I love you too, Jacob. I'm glad that I live here with you and I dont want it to ever change." She said, a soft smile on her face.
