"The freakish was because of what I did... She called me a monster because of what I am," she looked back up at Erissa, "Why do you humans all hate us so much?"
"They just.. don't understand...." She sighs and gets up from her seat, holding out her hand towards her. "Let's not sit here and look for Sasha and that boy. He is awfully late..." She looks up to the darkening sky and bites her lower lip. "I hope the clouds hold out on the rain after we meet up with them." Erissa looks down at and slightly smiles "I forgot to ask. What is your name?"
"Natalia..." she shivered violently and held the tulip even closer to her chest, "If a human... If you had done what I did, then you'd have been proclaimed a hero... A healer... Even some normal one of my kind, a wolf or something would have been thanked... But I'm homeless... And some weird mix... No humans trusts a shark or really a fox... I'm both."
"Natalia. It's a pretty name." She lightly smiles and shakes her head. She crouches down in front of her. "I don't think people would be accepted so easily when they figure out that there is someone who is different from them." Erissa purses her lips, gets up and turns around. She lifts up a small portion of her tank top, exposing a little skin, and a portion of a long jagged, but healed scar on her back side. "I got this from a human, after I healed an injury on a little girl with a broken arm. The parent swung the knife, Called me an abomination, and called the insanity institute to take me away. But as you can see, I'm not there." She lowers her top and lightly grins. "So that's what you are! I have seen foxes back at home, but not sharks! That's an interesting mix!"
She didn't even respond now as a cold wind blew through the city and she shivered even more, her sharp teeth chattering as he soaked fur was chilled.
Erissa pursed her lips and grabbed a hold of her hand. Strange... It's not that cold and yet she is shaking like a baby leaf in the middle of winter. "Come on. You're going to freeze at this point." She tugged her up with Peppit tied clinging on her back. "Sasha should have found that kid by now. I don't know why it's taking so long, but lets go move around. It will help get some heat back into you." She gently tugged on Natalie as she drew a small tattoo over her heart which was designed especially for communication with Sasha, a howling wolf. "Come on Natalie."
The hybrid girl nodded, no longer feeling able to resist and followed obediently behind Erissa, shivering and holding herself. She had since let the tulip drop to the wet ground.
