I’m not new to the site; I was here years back under a different name, but deleted the account due to mental health stuff. But, I’ve returned...and with it, new characters and ideas!
So, here’s Ara, my little zombie apocalypse survivor struggling to keep herself and a little boy alive. I don’t have a major plot fleshed out; just a general survival story that can arc overtime. This would be most likely a 1x1, long term or short. (Though hopefully long.
)
In partners, I’m looking for someone with a good grasp on the English language. I’m not asking you to be perfect; I would just like sentences to be coherent and easy to understand.
I am also searching for someone who can do a paragraph or more. I will do my best to match you. I understand that writer’s block is a demon that plagues us all, so don’t worry about trying to write me a novel! We can do it in forum or PM.
Also! I love OOC chat and getting to know my partners, so if you’re comfortable with it, prepare for your inbox to have a separate PM for us to chat and plan.
I am a college student, so I am busy, especially now with exams. My profile will have updates on times that I’m more readily available. I’ll do my best to communicate with you, if I should hit something that may not be on my profile. I ask that you be willing to try and communicate with me, too. If anything isn’t working, or you would like to stop, please let me know. I will not ghost you. I will talk to you. I do hope you will, too.

) Possible Plot Skeletons
- Your usual ‘the world has gone to hell’. People are struggling to survive. Groups are made up. Some good. Some bad. Some tiptoeing along the thin line between the two. Ara either discovers your character, or yours discovers her, and they band up in hopes of survival. The story would go from there.
Could Include: Combat, some gore, darker themes, coarse language, possible romance
- A fresher take: society remains functioning like it had in the better days, just with zombies. There is a major city with a curfew and constant military checkpoints. It’s corrupt, and dangerous, but at least it’s safer than what’s beyond the walls. Not fully sure of where the plot could go. One idea I had was that one of our characters could be banished beyond the walls as a punishment for a crime, and they happen upon the other. Break ins into the city could happen...again, I’m really not sure.

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Modern
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
