“Are the evils in space really so evil?” -Modern Philosopher, Unidentified
Your character is a scientific researcher in space, studying alien life forms recently found on a newly discovered planet. My character is a humanoid dark alien, which has a fairly restricted ability to shapeshift (humanoid shadow, solid shadow, dark humanoid, humanoid, etc). Your character discovers my character trapped on their ship, but instead of showing the other scientists their discovery, whereupon my character would be tested on, imprisoned, and most likely tortured/abused, your character decides to hide and help keep my character alive. Our characters fall in love. When our characters are caught kissing, the scientists lock up your character and experiment on/torture my character. Soon, though, the dark alien life forms the scientists were studying break out of containment, and my character is the only one who can stop them, by peaceful means. The scientists are forced to work alongside our characters to save their ship and possibly the rest of mankind (the aliens would guide the ship back to Earth and infect Earth if they could).
