Hey all! This is my first post on this website. This story takes place in a focus group building. We came at about the same time, and found it odd that there wasn’t a receptionist once we got in there. Then, an scream echoes through out the hall. What do we do next?

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romantic themes are possible, but won't pan out. For example: unrequited love.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, one-off scene. Will be played with a small group of players.
