Looking for a partner to join me in a long-term roleplay focusing around a modern world where magic is an everyday thing, but the justice system isn’t anywhere near just.
Magic first broke out in France, in the 1900s, and has since become a vital part of every society. There’s one problem, though. Only around 57% of people can even use their magic, leading to those who do have the blessing of power to rule over those who do not with an iron fist.
Those with the most potent magic became the leaders of the new world, and took to imprisoning any who did not agree with their rules, and discriminating over any who didn’t have magic.
Only a small number of people manage to get away with saving those shunned by the leaders, by liberating the ones wrongly imprisoned from their cages. These people are called the ‘unchained’ people who are too powerful for the law to capture, and fight for their rights rather than cowering beneath the kings of this brand new society.

Modern
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Some romance is possible, but the overall plot is more important.
