(Miralin. It's okay, I can't remember it half the time either XDD)
Raeliel made breakfast, set it out on the table, and waited for him to return. Her mind as well was on the kiss that they had shared the night before. She leaned against the table lightly, wondering if perhaps he had kissed Mirwen like that. Jealousy burned in her heart just at the thought of the woman, and for the first time, she realized how Saelhil must have felt when that human had been flirting with her. "Saelhil." she called up. "Breakfast is ready." It was best not to think about it. When it came to Saelhil, she tended to get carried away. And she didn't quite like that. It was so easy to be herself around him, to show her fears, her hopes, her dreams. She didn't like that.

Saelhil trotted down the stairs, inhaling deeply. "Mm, it smells delicious," he commented, smiling at her. Again, he was a bubble fiend when he bathed, and today he smelled of mint. It was a weird thing with Saelhil; he loved smells, and always paid special attention to them. It was a bit strange, sure, but not harmful at all.
Not harmful to him, maybe, but plenty harmful to Raeliel when he came in smelling that nice! She went to sit down, looking at him. "I hope you like it." She smiled a little. It was odd, now, she didn't quite know what to do. How to act. Everything was...strange, in a way. But it was probably just her, over-thinking things. It tended to happen, because he always was confusing her. She could never figure out how to act around him. The desire to just be herself around him clashed with her desire to cover things up and pretend that she was perfect.
Saelhil began to eat, again glad that she knew how to cook. "How much longer do you wish to stay here?" he asked, gazing over at her. "I will have to send a letter to my father if we will be staying for a few more days."
Raeliel looked up at him. "Another day or two would be nice. It's lovely here, and I think it'd be nice to watch the stars again if it's clear tonight." She finished her breakfast and went to clean up the dishes, smiling a little. She somehow found herself imagining the two of them cuddled up together under the stars, and when she realized she was thinking about this, she blushed brightly. Maybe they should go back after all.
Saelhil nodded. "That isn't too long. I would like to stay, as well." He helped clean up, and was oblivious to Raeliel's blush (it seemed ever-present now, so perhaps he was just used to her cheeks being pink).
The poor girl did seem to be blushing a lot lately, but it was all his fault. Once everything was cleaned up she looked at him. "Well, what shall we do today then? We swam, we've been to the town, we went to the cove... what haven't we done?" She looked at him curiously.
Bed for me, i will respond next in the morning!)
"Well..." Saelhil paused, trying to think over their options. She probably wouldn't like fishing, and he didn't feel like going into town again. There wasn't that much to do there if you weren't swimming. "I'm not sure. I think it may be turtle season," he said slowly. "We could go watch the hatchlings on the beach." For you see, turtles there were social creatures, and mother turtles stayed with her hatchlings on the shore until the turtles were used to swimming in the rough waves before she would take them into the ocean.
(*replies while getting ready for breakfast and class x3*)
Raeliel listened to him mention turtles and her eyes grew wide. "Really??" Baby turtles. Like any woman, she had that inbred love of all things tiny and newborn. She smiled brightly. "That sounds great, Saelhil." She finished cleaning up, looking over at him. "Did you use to do these things with your parents?" Her father never did things with her, and all her mother did was train her in the ways of being a proper woman.

Saelhil chuckled at her smile, then nodded to her question. "Mm, I did. My sister and I used to go all the time and play with the turtles." He smiled a bit. "One time my sister tried to take a turtle home... Mother and Father made her leave it, and she nearly cried. I believe she had even named it."

Raeliel listened to her husband's tale of the adventures with the turtle. "Oh, that poor girl. A turtle wouldn't survive in you land though, would it?" (Sorry short post class now)
Saelhil shook his head. "Exactly. It wouldn't survive the journey home, even." He moved a bit. "Shall we be going?"
Raeliel sighed. "That's sad...poor thing. Does she have any other pets, or anything?" She looked at him, but then nodded. "Yes, let's go." She followed him out the door, taking his hand. She was curious as to whether the turtles would really be there or not.
"Well, she does take in various animals she finds in the woods." Saelhil chuckled. He led her out along the beach, towards where he remembered the turtles should have been. It was a bit of a walk, so they had a few minutes until they got there.
Raeliel walked along, chuckling. "That doesn't surprise me, Saelhil." She wondered how his little sister was doing with their absence. Perhaps they should head back early after all. The walk was rather silent, and perhaps a tad awkward. Her mind was still on that kiss last night. She was supposed to hate him, so what overcame her to kiss him? She was rather frustrated with herself. Part of her liked him, enjoyed his company. Another part of her, that part of her that was so much like her people, kept whispering that he was beneath her. Raeliel was not fond of inner conflict, and Saelhil seemed to cause a lot of that in her lately.
Saelhil was quiet for the rest of the walk, also on other things, most pertaining to his wife. He was quite aware of her hand in his, and he was continually reminded of the kiss the night before. Perhaps... Perhaps in time they would grow to actually love one another, as he had hoped. But that was a bit of a silly thought, now wasn't it?
Raeliel looked around, trying to spot any turtles that might be in the area. She wasn't sure she was so fond of this long silence that was spanning between them. It was making the walk rather uncomfortable. However, the ocean was beautiful. She could hear the waves easily, and the sun was shining, as if the storm the night before had never even happened.
Soon enough, small green turtles began to appear in the sea foam. In just a few more moments of walking, they could see the large mother turtles, watching their babies closely as they crawled in the warm sand towards where the low tide washed gently up to shore. Saelhil smiled a bit, but kept a safe distance from the turtles. "There they are... Oh, look. There's a nest that hasn't even hatched yet." He pointed to a nearby mother turtle, shifting small eggs around in the sand. One or two newborn hatchlings wiggled near her, but she seemed to be paying more attention to the unmatched eggs.
Raeliel spotted the turtles and smiled. "Aww...look at them, they're so cute." When he pointed to the eggs and newborns, she stared. "Wow...they're so small and cute." She chuckled. "I wouldn't dare get near them, though. Those mothers must be vicious." She watched, admiring the babies from afar. They certainly were pretty cute.
