Talainna listened eagerly, then nodded happily. "Mm!" She backed away a bit, then grinned and dashed off to find the flowers, no questions asked.
Saelhil blinked, and looked at Raeliel. "What was that about?" he questioned curiously, watching his sister climb up a tree to leaf-walk back to the village.
Saelhil blinked, and looked at Raeliel. "What was that about?" he questioned curiously, watching his sister climb up a tree to leaf-walk back to the village.
Raeliel gave a soft hum. "I haven't the faintest idea." she murmured, smiling secretively. She looked over at him, then sat back down. "Come on...let's relax a little longer. She'll be gone for a bit." Not too long, but long enough for them to get in a little more time alone at the springs. She could feel her aching body getting better. The spring was so nice. And Saelhil had worse of a fight than she had, so she wanted to make sure he felt much better.
"You women are planning a coup against me, aren't you?" Saelhil chuckled as he slid back down into the water, letting the heat relax his muscles.
Raeliel laughed softly. "A coup? No chance." She smiled and moved to sit beside him once he was sitting down. She reached over and took his hand, holding it gently in hers and thinking about him. Yes, just thinking about him. She didn't say anything, the silence was nice. But he permeated her thoughts, refusing to leave her mind and, now, her heart.
After a moment, Saelhil moved his arm so that it was around her waist, but still holding her hand. He wanted to be close to her. She was comforting to him, as he was to her, unbeknownst to him. He leaned back and closed his eyes for a bit, very content just sitting there next to Raeliel.
Raeliel blushed as he put his arm around her. They weren't fully clothed, and the closeness was...intimate. She stayed close to him, however, and rested her head against him, closing her own eyes. And so she sat with him, just for a little while, to rest. After a bit, though, she opened her eyes and sighed. "We should get up and get dressed. Talainna will probably be returning soon."
"What did you tell her?" Saelhil reluctantly sat up straight and let Raeliel go. He climbed out, then offered a hand to Raeliel to help her up. The slight breeze made his warm skin cold, and he shuddered a bit.
Raeliel shrugged. "I don't know." She smiled and climbed out with his help, then got her warm clothes and turned her back to him so she could get dressed. Once she was dressed, she looked around, then went over to Saelhil, took his hand, and leaned in for a quick but loving kiss. Just in case Talainna was indeed nearby.
Saelhil smiled a bit at her secrecy, then changed as well. He returned the kiss cheerfully, but didn't pull away immediately. He touched their foreheads together for a moment, savouring their few precious seconds alone before a certain little girl hopped out of a tree.
"I got them!" Talainna exclaimed, hopping over to Raeliel happily with a basket full of flowers. She had gone to the meadow and picked the prettiest blooms she could find, as quickly as she could. She held them out to Raeliel. "Are they good enough?"

Raeliel knelt down and took the flowers, smiling. "They are lovely! Thank you so much, Talainna!" She took one of the flowers and tucked it into the girl's head, then kissed her forehead gently and gave her a hug. "Thank you so much." She let go, then took the basket and walked over to Saelhil. She took a bunch of the flowers by the stems and held them to him, smiling. "I love you." She lifted the flowers and leaned in, kissing him gently but shielding their kiss from Talainna's eyes with the flowers.
Talainna smiled at Raeliel's gratitude, but watched curiously as Raeliel went to Saelhil. As she realised what they were doing, she giggled, covering up her mouth with her hands.
Saelhil kissed her in return, and when they pulled away, he stayed close enough to say in a gentle voice, "I love you, Raeliel." He kissed her nose before pulling fully away and looking over at his sister. "And just what are you giggling at, you silly gosling?"
Talainna continued giggling. "Oh, nothing...~"

Raeliel smiled happily at his words, that gentle voice that he spoke in them moving her heart. She put the flowers back into the basket, and handed the basket to him. Perhaps they could decorate the house with them for a while. Raeliel smiled at the little girl and chuckled. "How about we all walk back to the village together?" She took Saelhil's hand and offered her other hand to Talainna.
Talainna eagerly grabbed Raeliel's hand, following them back to the village. "When are you two going to have a baby?" she asked suddenly.
Saelhil was a bit surprised, but quickly shook his head. "One day, I suppose." He cleared his throat. He wasn't sure how Raeliel felt about the subject, so he didn't offer anymore answer than that unless Raeliel would chime in with her own thoughts.

Raeliel blushed brightly at the child's words. The girl probably didn't know how babies even happened, so she just didn't say anything, glancing at Saelhil when he answered. She didn't say anything and just walked along, holding the hands of her new family. When they reached the house, Raeliel told Talainna that she'd best be getting home so that her poor father wouldn't be lonely. Then, she went inside with Saelhil and sighed contently. It was nice to be home.
Saelhil glanced out the window, watching as Talainna left. He then snuck a kiss to Raeliel's cheek. "Foli should probably start in an hour or two. Do you want to do anything before then?" He smiled at her.
Raeliel smiled as he kissed her cheek and she looked at him as he gave her the question. "Hm? Oh, well, I think I should get you fed before then." She chuckled and brushed his hair gently from his face, then went to go start making lunch. She wanted him well-fed before he went and got all sweaty and exhausted. While she cooked, she couldn't help but wonder what she would do while he was gone. She had nothing to really do. She was still foreign to his home.
Saelhil followed her, helping when he could but mostly let her do it herself. "What will you do while I'm gone?" he asked, leaning against the counter. "If you don't have plans, you might want to walk around. There's always people looking for a helping hand, or just someone to talk to." He smiled at her.
Raeliel paused as he questioned exactly what was on her mind. "...I'm not sure. I'll think of something." She shrugged, then looked over at him and smiled. "...Alright. I might do that." When the food was ready, she set it out and sat down to eat with him. "I need to get to know the people around here anyways. I barely know anyone, even though I saw them all at the wedding."
"Luckily we're a small village. You'll meet everyone soon enough." Saelhil began to eat quietly, savouring the food. "But, just a word of warning. Don't take up anyone's offer to go to Dabble Pond," he warned.
Raeliel smiled a little, then looked at him as he warned her. "...Dabble Pond? What's Dabble Pond, and why don't I want to go there?" She was curious. She couldn't help but be curious. She watched him, eating as well.
