"It's a pond where kids go to play jokes on their friends. Dabble Pond has mud that's thicker and stickier than honey, and frankly it smells worse than a skunk." Saelhil chuckled a bit. "It isn't fun to scrub off, and the smell stays on for days. Besides that, there are leeches and worms in the water... Get a combination of that caked in your skin and hair, and you dont want to leave the bath for a week. Trust me, I know."
Raeliel laughed softly. "Oh, I see. Well, sounds like you really are speaking from experience." She smiled. "I won't go with them, I promise." She blushed a little and started cleaning up her things. "I don't really feel like going anywhere with anyone but you, anyways." She looked at him for a moment, smiling, then went to get things cleaned up.
"I would ask you to join us, but I wouldn't want you getting hurt." Saelhil cleaned up with her. "Besides, sports isn't really your thing, is it? But maybe one day you'll come watch, at least." He kissed her cheek. "I'm going to get ready. That was delicious, Raeliel." He smiled at her and trotted upstairs.
Raeliel watched him, shaking her head. "No...I'm not one for sports." Certainly not. She chuckled softly as he kissed her cheek and she smiled. "Alright. Remember our promise." He wouldn't get hurt! She went to finish cleaning up, then got herself ready to take a walk around town.
Saelhil soon was on his way out. "I should be back in a few hours, but don't worry about being home. I can take care of myself while you're out." He touched her hand, smiled at her, and went out the door, heading out to the forest.
Raeliel smiled and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "Have fun, Saelhil." SHe let him leave, watching as he left. She gave a soft sigh. Suddenly, it just didn't feel the same when he wasn't around. Still, she did as she said, and she left the house to go take a walk through down. However...in her adoration for Saelhil, she had been completely oblivious to her new hair length. Now, in front of the eyes of anyone who looked, she felt the shame beginning to grow in her heart again.
"Raeliel!" Talainna suddenly ran to her sister-in-law, grabbing her hand and beginning to pull her away. "You gotta come quick!'
Raeliel was surprised when suddenly Talainna was there. "What? What is it, Talainna?" She followed the girl quickly, thinking something was the matter! "Is someone hurt? What's going on??" She was very concerned. This could be serious.
(Posting is gonna slow for a bit. Watching a movie. I'll try to post though on my other device when I can, but no promises )
{No problem~ }
"Eli's lost!" Talainna said worriedly. "We were playing hide-n-seek, but it's been an hour and we can't find him!" She seemed genuinely scared for Eli, whoever he was. And so she ran with Raeliel through the woods, were a few other kids were searching for their friend.

Raeliel rushed along with the child and looked around. "Did you set boundaries?" Even she was worried now. She wondered where the child was. "Did you check in the trees?" (Afk)
"Anathiel!" Talainna called, looking around. A blonde girl with curly hair peered out from a tree a little ways away.
"I still haven't found him!" Anathiel called. She looked a bit older than Talainna, which was probably why she was the one searching the trees.
Talainna whimpered. "We never go past the river, and we stay on this side of the village. Eli always comes out once we call the game over..." She looked almost ready to cry. "You have to help us find him, Raeliel. Wh-What if he got hurt?"

{I'm heading for bed. G'night!}
(Sorry! I've never seen the movie, it got really interesting xD Then the net dropped so we stopped watching, and then it came back on so I am responding before bed. Night! I should be able to post a good bit tomorrow)
Raeliel looked at Talainna seriously. "I'll find him, I promise. But right now, I want you to go to the trees where they play Foli and get your brother and tell him that Eli is missing and I want him to come help me search." She patted Talainna's head. "Go, be a good girl and get your brother." She, meanwhile, started hurrying around. She looked around carefully. "Eli? Eli!" Chances were, the boy might have fallen asleep. That's what she hoped, at least. She looked in bushes, up at the tree branches, behind tree trunks, anywhere that might prove a hiding place for a child. Her biggest worry was the river. What if he had tried to cross it and gotten swept away?

{Haha, no prob x3}
Talainna nodded and ran off as quickly as she could. It was just a few minutes before she came back with Saelhil, who immediately began running through the trees. "Any sign of him?" he asked as he approached the search party, pausing only a moment to get any updates.

(My timing, it is awesome x3)
Raeliel saw Saelhil and shook her head. "No, nothing. I'm going to go check by the river." She started to run. She dashed through the forest, finally reaching the river. She looked around for any sign of the little boy, searching for anything. "Eli?! Eli!" He had to be somewhere, right? Her fear of him falling into the river was starting to grow.

(Gotta go eat, I'll probably be posting again in an hour or so. Saturdays when I'm at work, I'm stuck at the desk with little to do, unless my boss leaves me a project xD)
{xDD}
Saelhil nodded at her words. "I'm coming, too." He ran with Raeliel, though in the trees. He used his high perch to scan the river. "Eli!" he shouted. "Eli, where are you?!" He looked around some more, then dropped to the ground. "Let's go downstream," he said quickly. "If he's there, we have to catch him before he reaches the rapids." He took Raeliel's hand and began running, extremely worried about the boy.

Raeliel felt her stomach twist at the thought of rapids. She ran downstream, calling the boy's name and searching for him desperately. What would they do if he was in the river? In her gut, she knew. She would jump in to save him. (Got a little time while i eat lol)
After a while, they began to near the rapids. And of course, there in the water, heading quickly for the rushing current and dangerous rocks, was a head of blonde curls: Eli.
"Eli!" Saelhil screamed, letting go of Raeliel's hand to run along the banks to catch up with the boy. Eli seemed just as old as Anathiel, and one would think he would be able to swim, but the need had never arisen, and so he had never learned. The boy splashed around violently, trying to keep above water as the current began to quicken. He did not scream, or cry out for help, but it was obvious on his face that he was terrified.
