Arthur blinked when someone came in and he looked over. As the two of them spoke, he just kind of stared. But then he stood up. "Wait... YOU'RE her family?!" Arthur was a lot less okay with leaving her here now. "Does she even know? Does she even recognize you? You need to go see her, now!" He couldn't believe they were just standing around! She'd been gone for so long!"

"Yes, Belle knows. She recognized me when she first came to me," Salehil snapped at the human.he rubbed his forehead slightly, before moving towards the door. "Come on, Valenthion. I believe your mother has already gone to see her. You, Human, stay here." And the two exited.
Arthur felt less than safe as he was left alone, but stay he did. Raeliel walked into the room where her daughter was. "...Belle? Is...is it truly you?" She couldn't believe it!
Belle looked up from where she sat. "Mother..." She stood, tears suddenly welling in her eyes and she nodded. "It's me." She quickly came forward to hug her tightly, the sudden emotions of finally seeing her mother welling up inside her and coming out as crying.
Raeliel hugged her daughter tightly. "Shh...it's okay. I'm here. I'm here. My little girl...my Belle..." Raeliel started crying too, holding tightly to her daughter. "We thought you were dead, or countries away. I am so, so glad to see you again..."
"Darling." Saelhil stood in the doorway, watching Raeliel and Belle reunite. Valenthion suddenly rushed forward to hug Belle from behind with a small chuckle.
"It really is you! I've missed you Belle." Her brother inhaled her scent, and playfully nuzzled the back of her head. Meanwhile, Saelhil just stood aside, watching the group hug.

Raeliel was smiling happily, then she looked over to her husband. "Sael, come on! She's returned! She's finally come home!" She held out an arm, summoning her husband into the family hug. She was so happy to finally have her family together again. She had been so afraid, so worried, so saddened by Belle's capture. She thought she would never see her daughter ever again.
Saelhil hesitated, before slowly coming over to join the hug. He wrapped his arms ariund his little family, all of them well into adulthood now.
Belle let tears slide silently down her cheeks, savoring these feelings of family once more. But after a long while, she wiped her face. "Please, you'll let Arthur go, won't you?" She looked eagerly at her parents; the issue seemed to be nagging at her, despite the overwhelming joy of being back with her family. She couldn't forget the one who brought her there, after all.

Raeliel grimaced slightly. "Belle, why do you care about that human? He's a slaver, honey, he's cruel and terrible. He doesn't deserve to be let go, he'll only enslave more of our kind!" She pet her daughter's head, unable to understand why the child cared so much about the human. Of course, Raeliel didn't know Arthur like she did, and she didn't know that Arthur was the kindest master a person could have.
"But Mother, he's the kindest human I've ever met!" Belle bit her lip. "He's fed me well and clothed me and even given me a room in his own house. He has never hurt me or even considered using me as the other humans did. He's different!" She looked at Saelhil. "Father, if you'll just let him stay here for a little while, you'll see how kind he is!"
Saelhil frowned a bit. "Belle, I realize he brought you here, and for that I am glad. But he's a human, darling. You know what they're capable of. It's in his blood. He can't be much different from the others."

Raeliel listened to her and sighed slightly. "..maybe we should just let him here for a little while, Saelhil. Under guard. Then we can decide what to do with him." She pet her daughters head and held her close. She didn't want to do anything to upset her child now that they finally had her back. "I love you, Belle. So very much. But it was humans in the first place that took you away from us..."
Belle brightened, and hugged Raeliel tightly. "Thank you mother! Thank you, thank you!"
Saelhil watched them, before sighing heavily. "...very well. He'll stay in the empty guard house. But any sign of trouble, Belle, and he's going to get what's coming to him."
Suddenly Belle was wrapped around Saelhil's waist. "Thank you, Father! You won't regret it!" She kissed his cheek and suddenly darted off, probably to find Arthur to tell him the good news. Saelhil rubbed his forehead.
"That girl... What am I going to do with her?" he murmured, before following her at a much calmer pace.

Raeliel walked along with her husband. "...I'm worried about her, Saelhil. What...what if she gets feelings for this human? If you're mistreated for long enough, you might get feelings for the first kind person that comes your way. I don't want our daughter to be with that human. And I know you don't either."
Arthur was laying down, he was still bound and all but at least this way he got some rest. His eyes opened when someone came in, and he sat up. "Belle! Belle, are you alright? This...this is your family." He still couldn't really accept it. "...are you okay?" That was the most important thing. Despite, you know, his several bleeding flesh wounds.

"I know, Rae." Saelhil sighed heavily, looking at her. "...you don't suppose we should try playing matchmaker? It was a rocky start for us when we first got married, but we'd know what's best for her... Once that human's gone, we can call off the marriage and let her choose another elf, if she wishes."
"I'm fine." Belle bit her lip and she came to kneel next to Arthur. "Oh you hurting too badly? I can help wrap you up..." She took a breath. "My father said you could stay for a bit, under a temporary pardon. I want him to see that you aren't like the humans that attacked the villages." She smiled weakly at him, before moving to start untying his wrists gently.

Raeliel listened and nodded slightly. "I...I think that's good. In a way. We can just introduce her to a few boys, and have her get to know them. Engaging her to an elf as soon as she gets back wouldn't go over well, I think. It might put too much stress on her. We'll just try to limit how much she's around the human, and increase the amount of time she spends with the elven men."
Arthur nodded slightly. "Well, bleeding out really isn't high on my list of priorities..." Which meant yes, he would like some medical attention, please. Every bone in his body seemed to ache. He rubbed his wrists when he was untied and he sighed slightly. "A temporary pardon, hm? Well, looks like I'm getting that adventure I asked for." He was a bit dazed, so he didn't really stand up yet. "Well...we found your family quicker than I expected, Belle."

"Of course, yes." Saelhil nodded. "That will be wonderful, reintegrate her into elven society and get her thoughts off of humans." He kissed her cheek, then paused outside the door where the human was being held.
"Indeed, it seems like it." Belle smiled faintly at him as she came to crouch in front of him again, now with a cloth and some bandages. She wiped up his blood quietly. "...thank you, sir," she said after a few moments. "I've...never even thought that my master would ever take me home, much less let me stay with my—...you...you are letting me stay, aren't you...?" Belle paused her cleaning of his skin, suddenly looking a bit fearful. He could have just brought her to see them, but planned on taking her back to his home afterwards.

Raeliel stayed with her husband, being the comfort there for him.
Arthur sighed slightly, flinching as she cleaned his wounds. "Of course you're staying, Belle. I'd be just as much a monster as my father if I brought you here to see them and then took you back with me. You're staying." Granted, he'd need to get a new servant to help out around the house, and Mary would be a bit sad, but he wasn't going to take her back to his house after she finally found her family again. He just wouldn't do that.

Belle sighed in relief. "Thank you." She placed a gentle kiss of thanks on his temple, before moving on to wrapping his wounds. "I hope you'll come to like the village...and the the village can come to tolerate you. I'm sorry for how they've treated you—"
"It's granted they would treat him like that." Saelhil stepped into the room with Raeliel, sighing slightly. "You'll have to do a lot more than just be kind to get any treatment other than that suited for animals."

Arthur blinked as his forehead was kissed, and he just kind of...stared. It was surprising. He hadn't expected it, certainly. He had started to smile a little, until Saelhil came in. He sighed slightly. "Killing a foal for a stallion." he mentioned calmly, reminding Saelhil of what he'd said earlier about harming the innocent for the wicked. "I have a feeling you elves treat even animals better than you've treated me." He glanced at Belle. "But it doesn't matter. Belle found her family. I did what I came to do."
Belle continued wrapping Arthur up, but she looked up at her father. "Please... Won't you tell them not to be so angry at him? He's allowed me to come home to stay; isn't that enough for praise instead of torture?"
Saelhil sighed. "Yes, yes Belle, I know." He looked at the human, then Belle. "Belle, how about we get you a bath and into some clothes that will fit you better?" She was wearing human clothes, after all. "I'm sure your mother would like to spend some time with you. I'll make sure your friend's wounds are well taken care of."
