The wild Zangoose stumbled slowly, falling against anything in his path as he tried to run away, his eyesight blurred as he continued to lose blood from the deep cut given to him by his natural born enemy. Seviper. The pokemon, Animal given the name from his wild tendencies looked back over his shoulder as his white fur bristled at the awareness of the nearby pokemon enemy. He let out a growl and long black claws extended in defense as he fell back against a tree,"Gotta...hide..."he mumbled as he continued to lose strength, eyes slowly forcing themselves shut as his body and will slowly began to slip.

There was a sudden burst of flame from nearby. Hit the ground a few feet in front of Animal and then there was a wall of yellow fur facing him as Eon leaped into a defensive stance, facing the approaching seviper. He let out a menacing growl and his back lit up with white flames.

The Seviper let out a hiss before he began to flee, shooting a menacing glare at Animal before it disappeared into the forest.

Animal stared at the pokemon in front of him, breathing heavily as he continued to weaken, gripping the wound tightly. He forced himself to stand and stumbled through the forest, looking for a very helpful fruit he could smell nearby. He would thank the pokemon as soon as he could.

Eon turned and followed right behind Animal.
"Wait! Don't move," he said and didn't wait for a response before grabbing the normal type and heating his free hand to a very dangerous heat. "This'll hurt," he warned then pressed his hand against the open wound, sealing it closed but managed to not do anything more to his fur than singe it.

He let out a painful growl and grit his teeth, baring the white hot pain, claws digging into the ground beneath him. He panted heavily once the wound had sealed and rested against whatever was nearby, his vision blurred white though he could make out the Pokemon in front of him,"T-thank you..."he said quietly and grabbed a berry from a nearby bush, luckily it was just the one he needed to force any pain away.

"You're welcome," the massive fire type said and sat down in front of the Zangoose, "What happened?"

Animal nibbled at the berry and sighed as he felt the pain fade away. He looked to the Typhlosion,"I was asleep in a tree and that Seviper attacked me. Thank you...for helping..."he stood, looking up at the huge Pokemon.

"You're welcome," he said again and smiled warmly. "I'm Eon."

Animal took a second to retract his claws then smiled back slightly," I'm Animal."he held out his paw.

The typhlosion reached down and shook it, "Pleasure to meet you. You got a place to stay? A den or something?"

Animal shook his head and sighed,"No...I had to leave my den..."he scratched at the newly red fur.

"You can stay with me for a bit if you'd like," he offered, "I travel a lot but I'm currently in a pretty nice den. Big and clean."

The Zangoose chuckled,"If it's not too much trouble."he tilted his nose up and sniffed the air,"He's gone..."he sighed in relief.

"Not at all! I welcome company," he smiled pleasantly, "Just follow me," he said and began leading Animal away from the area.
After about 15 minutes of walking, they come to a large hill with a hole dug into the side. Ron walked in and lay down on a bed of soft grass. There was another one nearby.
"Home sweet home for now."

Animal curled up into a ball on the soft grass and let out a tired sigh,"So soft..."he smiled a bit and stroked the soft grass,"Much better than a tree..."he sat up a bit and looked at the Pokemon near him.

"Right?" he grinned, "The grasses around here are incredibly soft."
Eon sighed and looked over at Animal, "What are you doing alone? I thought you Zangoose usually live in big groups."

Animal stretched out and moved his paws against the soft grass, letting out a sigh,"We accidentally split up when were in the snowy regions."

"Did you not go searching for them?"

"Of course I did...I even searched through the blizzard but I couldn't find a scent trail..."he looked down shamefully.

"Oh... Well, it's not your fault," he smiled.
