He purred,"That's because I feel so relaxed around you..."he mumbled and opened his scarred eye.

She blushed slightly and kissed his nose, "That's a good thing, right?"

"Very good...I'm usually no fun at all."he chuckled.

"Well, you can sleep," she smiled and moved so that she was laying next to him with her head resting on his chest.

Animal slipped an arm around her and used his tail as a large fluffy blanket to keep her warm. He mumbled something but it sounded like gibberish as he doze off.

Mia quickly got comfortable and gave him a last kiss on the cheek before falling asleep.

Animal slept until a particularly loud crack of lightning struck just outside the den. He jumped and his claws dug into the dirt floor.

Mia jumped too and behind them, Eon let out a little burst of startled flame and Emily yelped.
"Th-that was really close..." Mia whimpered and retreated deeper into the den.

"It's gotten worse..."he walked over to Mia and held her, stroking her fur gently to calm her down,"I hope it stops soon..."he groans and kissed the top of her head.

She quikikcly calmed under his touch and snuggled into his fur, "Come on, let's all get a bit closer," Emily suggested and Mia nodded. She walked over and sat on the other side of Eon, leaning into his heated body and waited for animal.

Animal padded over and sat besides Mia, snuggling into her thin soft fur. He luckily had enough fur to keep himself warm.

Eon was radiating a lot of heat though and Mia was glad to be ebtween a fire type and a fluffy zangoose. She leaned into her mate and rested her head on his shoulder.

He once again slowly began to drift to sleep with his mate in his arms. He hoped by the time they wake up the storm would have passed.

When they woke again it was just a drizzle and Eon was standing outside in the rain. Emily was sleeping in the den still and Mis was stretching awake.

His ear's twitched as he became aware of the light sound of rain outside. He slowly opened his eyes thwn dropped onto his paws, stretching.

Mia looked over at him with a half-awake smile, "Hey... I think we're leaving soon."

He leaned over and licked her cheek,"Finally..."he smiled and stood, holding out his paw.

Mia took it in her hand and looked over to Emily, "Should we wake her up?"

Animal looked over to the Dragonite then over at Eon. He let go of her hand to walk out and nudge his friend,"Oi, go wake up your mate."he winked.

Eon jumped a bit when he was startled out of his daze and and looked over at the dragonite, "W-we're not mates... Yet..."
