He scratched his side and winced slightly, having forgot where the wound was.

"IT'll heal soon enough. At least it won't get infected since it's burned closed."

"Yes...thank you..."he curled up into a ball and slowly closed his eyes, feeling exhausted from earlier.

"You're safe. Feel free to sleep," he said and leaned against the ave wall.

The zangoose nodded slightly and slowly fell asleep.

Eon fell asleep as well, his body radiating w comfortable heat throughout the den, keeping the zangoose warm.

The wild Zangoose woke with a long yawn early in the morning, a routine he was used to. He blinked when he noticed the large pokemon near him and took a moment to remember the previous day.

The massive typhlosion was still sleeping peacefully against the wall, snorting occasionally in his sleep.

The pokemon smiled a bit and quietly snuck out of the den, going out to search for some food.

Even when Animal came back, Eon would still be asleep; he was a pretty heavy sleeper. He smiled and kicked a bit then fell forwards, apparently having a nice dream.

Animal walked into the den with an armful of berries and looked to the Pokemon still asleep. He sat down and began to organize them by color.

Eon snorted one last time then woke, his eyes flickering open and he sat up with a tire groan and a yawn. He stretched and then blinked, his vision coming into focus and he smiled at his guest, "Good morning."

Animal looked up and pushed a pile of berries towards him,"Good morning. I grabbed these a moment ago."he picked one up from his own pile with his paw.

Eon took half of the berries given to him then pushed the rest back towards Animal, "I'm too big for just berries, but thank you," he smiled as he tossed a few into his massive maw.

Animal ate a few before he combined the two piles and placed them off to the side,"So whats a powerful fire pokemon like you doing out here?"he asked curiously.

"Wandering," he shrugged, "Got no mate, no kids, so no reason to stay in one place, though it's what I want more than anything," he sighed wistfully, "Typhlosion are solitary creatures until they find a mate though. I don't know about you zangoose, but we mate for life."

Animal nodded slightly,"We mate for life as well, though i've given it little thought."he played with a small blueberry, rolling it around with his claws.

Eon nodded thoughtfully, "I've met a few girls but none of them cared to stay with me long enough to truly become my mate..." the big fire type just looked sad now, "It hurts a lot to have had so many chances and then just get left..."

Animal stood and patted his shoulder,"Perhaps they just weren't the right ones. I'm sure you'll find the perfect mate."he smiled a bit, doing what he could to comfort the Pokemon.

"Do you want to be a father?" he asked, looking down at Animal.
