Animal blinked and scratched the back of his neck,"I think...the idea is nice but..."he shrugged.

"But too much work?" the typhlosion sighed and nodded, "Yeah... But that's part of it," he leaned back and closed his eyes, "There's nothing I want more in the world than to hold my mate in one arm and my child in the other."
He wasn't sure why he was telling all of this to Animal, but for some reason he trusted the zangoose.

"not exactly that...just never thought I would be a suitable father."he side and rested his back against the wall,""Maybe i'm just frightened as well..."he mumbled.

"Why wouldn't you be?" Eon raised an eyebrow.

Animal laughed at that and nodded,"True, but thats what's holding me back."

"Good an answer as any," he shrugged those massive shoulders then standing, "I'm gonna go grab someone to eat, be back soon," he said and lumbered out."

Animal nodded slightly and continued to stay seated, looking around the dull cave. He stood and out of habit began to clean up.

He returned about half an hour later with a bit of blood on his face and black and blue fur mixed in with his own.
"Lucario are one of my favorite meals," he commented.

Animal looked over at him as he was removing a large pile of leaves from the corner,"I like something with a bit more meat on the bones."he walked past him and put the leaves out side.

"You'd be surprised at how much there is, especially in the thighs. If you want meaty though, try a raichu wrapped in a furret. Now that's good."

"Nah, Raichu's are way to tight for my taste, Furrets are fine, a bit to much hair though."he walked back in and dusted off his paws,"All clean."

"Tight? They're chubby mice with oversized feet... I don't know what you mean by tight. But furred are a bit too furry. Mostly tail too. They still taste good."

"Hm, maybe I had a bad Raichu,"he shrugged and sat down across from him,"I think my favorite would have to be...magikarp."

Eon looked surprised, "You're joking, right?"

"Tastes like fish, i'm a feline Pokemon after all."

"Really?" Eon scratched his head, "I always thought you were more... Well, not a cat. You all seem more mustelidy to me."

Animal laughed a bit and shrugged,"Humans deemed us cat-like, which makes some sense but Zangoose are Zangoose."

"Humans can be pretty stupid. Anyways, magikarp? There's so many better tasting fish."

"The flavor just tastes nice to me!"he said irritably, his fur standing a bit,"Milotics are nice too..."

"They're skin is so tough though. Did you know a magikarp could survive in human sewage? That's gross," he shuddered then nodded, "Oh yes. Milotic are divine when it comes to sea food."
