You don't even know where Terelain Space is, so you're not going to be opening a front on my boder 'til you find it... and we're not going to be making it easy for you. Standard protocol calls for a very complicated set of FTL manouvres designed to shake off pursuers before even turning in the general direction of Senate Space, never mind the Kingdom itself.

Plus, when you finally do try to attack Aerin, you'll have to pass through the Sentinel Nebula and take out Sentinel Station, a massive defensive fortification designed to defend the Homeworld from attack... and when you get to the Aera System itself you'll have to fight for every inch of vaccuum and every pebble of every moon and planet... then you'll have to deal with the Guardian Array on Senura, Aerin's middle moon.

Oh, and the Planetary Shield and the Aerain Defense Network. Even the combined might of the Gillorian Armarda could not take Aerin, though at the time we did have the entire Grand Fleet defending the planet. The Terelains will not let their homeworld fall. Nah Siima Aerin, The Shining Jewel, will not be allowed to fall into the hands of Flicker-life barbarians.

Um...we'll just commit suicide and lead you to the remnants of the Ursan gods. Basically "deamons" on this plane of existence.

Actually Tanner might be less..."open armed" than the Terelians are. As I mentioned we already have what he deems "high brow, pompous, overgrown cats" in our region. Any more really would make him think its a secret alien cat plot haha.

So yeah, and he has "secret orders" himself, so there's an agenda hes going to follow, to make sure that the human race survives...in what ever manner possible.

Since everyone's decided to be sneaky with 'secret orders' and ship-killing stealth ships and ISBMs...

I might have to call in the Terelain Black-Ops and Espionage organisation, the Shadow-Walkers.

I think the leaders, the twins Bastet and Sehkmet, would have a lot of fun with the HRA... and they'd just love Liala and Nikoli.

Plus, they think Humans are kind of cute. Look at them all grown-up with FTL and starships... adorable! They happened to go on a little holiday a few thousand years back, they stopped off on Earth for a few days and Sehkmet got a bit drunk and went hunting... unfortunately she mistook a couple of Ancient Egyptians for weird alien animals and took a few potshots at them...

Wouldnt call it sneaky persay, but more of theres distrust between the government and military...atop of distrust between the Terran Empire and the rest of the Coalition (humanity has an almost xenophobic/isolationist stance now after far too many instances that lead to the belief of "too much alien influence") and the distrust of the Valhalla, since its the primary leader of human forces still in the Coalition and not necessarily with the Empire.

So Tanner's orders are literally a deadstop to make sure that the best interests of HUMANITY is kept at the forefront and more than likely the TERRAN government gave him a wide berth in delegating how to proceed.
