Many of the creatures were blown away by the blast. The Luminary herself was forced to create a shield of light around herself. " How dare you! The light is all that is good and beautiful in this world!" She let the darkness close around her to feign defeat while she used her light to teleport behind him.
Sweeping her tail in an arch, she sent feathers towards him. Each one like a dart.


" Lit the fuse? What are you talking about?" Despite the confidence in his voice, he tugged at his cuffs.
Catching this, Nasr smiled and held up 3 fingers. One by one he folded them. " You have till that ball reaches the bottom of this tower to finish me. Better move fast time is ticking"

" What!?" He exclaimed as he lashed out with his tail. The feathers carving deep grooves into the floor. " You have given yourself to us now! Your will is ours to control!"

Nasr warped out of the way only to tear into the back of the peacock. " Yes, but I said I will play by my rules"
Though a good hit, the Luminary used the fall to turn around and blast him across the room. " You imbecil! The light will tear you apart!"

Deep purple streaked across the floor as Nasr tumbled away. He lie still for a moment before slowly shoving himself up. The light had done serious damage to his dream form, opening his gut and revealing his ribs and heart. Such a sight made him truly resemble a demon now but something made him laugh.

In contrast to his shadowy exterior, he glowed within, blood and all. " A....balance....have you noticed....the light inside me?" He said as he stood. " I bet....if I tear you open....you will be black as....as a raven"

" He's still....standing?" The bird trembled now. " Glira!! Get to this room now!" His voice rang through the tower like a bell.

He slapped the tail away with a powerful swipe and grabbed her in the neck and lifted her up, “you can teleport, good. Take me to him before he turns. And I mean now”, he said squeezing.

" Gah....What are....you..." She grabbed at his arm and wrist in futility to ease her suffering. Though the battle was lost alone perhaps obeying his simple request would spare her life. Her brother had called anyway.

" All...alright" little orbs of light started to rise around them as she glowed brighter. In an instant they were blinked from existence and brought to the whiteroom.

The sight of his sister being choked was more disturbing than Nasr's tenacity. " Glira!" He fanned his tail as the eyes opened. Unlike Glira, he did not send out beams of light. Instead his light began to focus in a single area.

Without warning he was pulled back, claws tearing into the floor. He looked back to find Nasr tearing the eyes out of his tail. " Demon of Nightmares and death I bin-" Dark talons rake across his face.

Nasr stood over the bird with a cruel smile, darkness dancing over him like fire. " Not today....demon" He wanted to acknowledge his friend but distraction would prove fatal

“I see you had a little fun”, he said throwingmthe woman down, “ so we cant kill them now but break his legs and his tail”, he said to Nasr and generated darkness to his legs, “let’s continue the plan then. The build and the weapon and hostages if you find any. actually it would be better if she releases them for us, thakes a load off won’t it”

Glira coughed as she tried to catch her breath. " There are...no hostages"

The other quickly turned, hoping to hit Nasr with more light in a desperate attempt to turn the tide.
He was ready though and shifted out the way. " Blasted demon!"

Nasr returned as a griffin and held him down as he crushed the peacocks legs with his beak. The crimson that flowed across the ground a stark contrast to the white. " You are dark inside"
Now he could acknowledge Shinigami. " There are no hostages. Just...abominations"

“Saha. Ok let me do something real quick”, he said to Nasr and walked over the woman and gently raised her face to look at him, “I love beautiful women you know, I love their life and I try to make it better. But when they become rotten, thats when I lose my love for them. You knew you couldn't get rid of the darkness so you imprisoned. You took ome look at Nasr and decided to control him with lies. You knew they will become powerful to fight you so you weakened them and their knowledge of their power. And you've done more. Youre beautiful and that might be the only thing to save you from your sentence”, he said gently feeling her cheek then let her go

“Plant the bomb and come find me, you got your nose right”, he said to nasr

His words both burned and touched her soul. One moment a violent demon and the next a true gentleman. Confliction raged within her now, to kill him or not. The way he left seemed to finalize her thoughts and feelings. For a brief moment she reached up but hearing of a bomb forced her to drop her head.

Nasr pinned his ears at what he heard and saw. " After everything she did you are just going to...Gah nevermind...bomb is already set let's move"
He changed into his human form and glared at the brother who was clinging to his legs. " My nose is fine. What am I looking for?"

“Oh, I was hoping we could destroy that weapon theygp used the last time”, he said looking up, “where could it be. Oh yeah Tobi make sure she doesn’t die”

Nasr held his arms out and looked around the room. " This is the weapon. By the way..." He pulled out the piece he removed from the board and offered it. " This is yours. We have alot of work ahead of us"
He then looked up to see a crystalline star in the ceiling. " There it is"

“Ok”, he said Catching his piece then shot a beam of darkness at the star, “then let’s go, we finally get to use it”, he said holding out a smoke bomd like a little kid

The way he was made Nasr smile. Darkness surrounded him as he stepped close. " Time to end this"

The ball of darkness touched the bottom of the tower finally. It flickered for a moment then faded. A split second later it exploded, sending dark tendrils in all directions to tear at the tower from the ground up.

Feeling the tower quake, the brother looked at the two with fear finally in his eyes. " You're going to just let us die?"
Nasr raised his head in dominance now. " Just one it seems. Be happy I didn't tear your heart out"

“Oh you lit it before me”, he looked at the brother with a demon eye, “I wonder how Manhattan people have said the same thing to you”, he said then walked closer to nasr, “don’t worry your sister will live. But you, well thats your problem”

The reality seemed to hit him hard. A once proud Luminary now powerless, stared down his own nightmare. To Nasr it was sweet and only fueled his power.

As the tower crumbled beneath, a familiar shriek echoed through the halls, Fear itself. " I suppose I should thank you for that power....Glira" Nasr's laughter was sinister and lingered even after he used the darkness to get Shinigami and him out.

From outside darkness swallowed the sunstone tower. Glittering fragments of stardust flying through the air like snow.
Some of the Nyctorans ran while others came to see what was going on.

Sitting on the back of a longma, watching the show, was Kai. Such inspiration the sparkling show gave him. With him were two other longma that were loaded with what they had requested.

Ok Nasr”, he said snapping his finger and the circle outside sent a streak of light and went around the tower to make a barrier. On the sky were words, you’ve been warned. “So I guess we’re done, let’s go”

Quickly, he turned and walked towards a gate. The memory of the boards, there layout, and the pieces held him in deep thought until a single voice pierced them.
" Heeeeey!"
He turned to see Kai and his massive ibex horns. " Drayce kept his word. I will tell you what I saw later"

“Ok”, he said looking at Kai, “is he ther get away guy”, he asked looking at him, “I still have my cloak so I’m fine”

Nasr pulled the cloak off the back of a longma and inspected it. Surprisingly it was decent, atleast to him. Not a single sparkle except for the metal points evenly spread across the bottom. Contented, he put it on. " Not really.."

Kai chuckled as continued to watch the pieces of the tower fall. " I am anything I need to be" He looked at them now with a pleased smile. " Keep the extra cloak. You're going to need good threads when those get tattered. The thought is...truly horrifying!" He said placing the back of his hand to his head in a dramatic display.

Nasr got on his longma now. " Right, drama goat....we both know it is not that hard to make more"

He looked at them with suspecting wpeyes , “so hows that girl earlier, is she watching. If so then she knows who did this”

"Girl?" Nasr said as he looked over to Shinigami. " If you mean Borealis I would like to get out of here BEFORE she shows up" The longma started to get antsy beneath him.

Kai noticed Shinigami's expression. " Don't be hatin now. These colors look better on you two anyway"

Nasr guided his longma so he was next to Kai. " Seriously...save that talk for Drayce and his dance buddies"

" Speaking of Drayce..." Kai said as he reached into his pocket. " He said this would be important to you" He handed Nasr a neatly folded slip of paper.

He got on his longma and got ready to move, “dryce?, what’s about me?”, he asked simply, “ok, let’s move and im not wearing that”
