The spear was caught and shattered. It's light added to Sonne's own power. Despite the beating she stood up and laughed. The few wounds that were inflicted healed instantly. " Oh that's rich. The boy has forgotten how he has crossed me and believes he is Rage!" Lava was replaced with the pearly ground as she strode across the surface.
" Rage is of my mother's blood which means you can never be of the demon however..." She stopped and looked up at him and Rage with a smug look. " You're acting perfectly...Rage, he's accepted you. I'll take my due" She stretched her hand out and waited. They became a blur of gold and silver until both took their dragon forms.

The demon drew on Shinigami's power, pulling it through the chain and passing it to Sonne. It was obvious to Kuroi now that is was their mother's rage that allowed her to steal the power of the first race. She got to her feet and reformed her scythe.

A circle of flame was drawn in the air. It became a chakram that Sonne took. She opened her mouth to say more when Kuroi struck. " I refuse to let you drain him as mother did the rest!" They were a blur of silver and gold until they took their dragon forms.

Sonne, a white dragon with skyblue eyes, a mane of gold, and crystal feathers on a dragon wing base. Her golden horns were many; growing to resemble a sun. Even her belly plating was gold. For all the beauty she held, her cruelty showed as she struck at Kuroi again. The power of night was visibly removed and dissipated in Sonne's light. " You won't let me? I made sure you can't stop me!"

She turned back to Shinigami with a sour look. " Yes, I did hurt her and wanted you to see. Now watch again as I finished her off" Her wings barely missed Kuroi's neck as she turned around. A blast of night fire greeted Sonne. The light she gave off prevented it from touching her though. " Kneel!" Chains of gold bound Kuroi and dragged her under the lava. " Without your power you can never beat me"

I told you rage will take a chance to kill sonne you thought I was lying. Kuroi come on I told you to let me do the fighting. She doesn't listen, well she took mana directly from me so she must have forgotten. I can control my mana", he said as dark veins appeared on sonne and impaired her wings, "for someone who claims to e of noble blood you are very obedient when it comes to her rage. Shut up now and let me kill her so I can reduce what I do to you after this", he said pulling his hand down and dragged sonne to the ground, "well you call yourself daughter of the sun goddess or whatever she is but you see I don't care for those couples. People that can cause a mess like this have a lot to do to gain my respect. And what you have rage greed fear power you empire. I can take it all from you. One by one or all at the same time. Your connection to you mother, your father, your mother, your sister your family your money, even your body I can take them all", he said walking towards her as spikes formed from the ground and grounded her wings, "everything you are gone because I want it like that. The fact just makes you wonder what you're really worth." He said then stoped and sat down on his new formed throne

The anti magic circle formed around them, "oh try to destroy that and it will kill you trust me on that. Well you don't know what it is so why bother", he said as his mana made its way to sonne body, "I learnt how to control my mana since I had could absorb it. Why not find a way to counter someone that does the same to me. Well good thing that came handy. So let's talk, if you don't want to we can always fight hand to hand. Also one tweak of mana and we all die. I also added a second circle underground just now", he said

" You would kill her too?" Sonne said with a smirk. " How perfect. Seems I chose the right bait to finish her and her will to protect only drove her to her doom. But remember your mana is mine because it was my mother who gave it to you to begin with. That role is now mine!" She stared him down as she listened, no fear, just arrogance while she let his mana fuel her.

The defiant demon growled and pulled on the chains. Another appears through a band of light to reveal Rage was also bound to Sonne. This was not bound by shackles but directly to the flesh. " Noble blood I am and noble blood is she. The only one to die will be Kuroi"

While Shinigami ranted she kept Kuroi bound beneath the lava where she would burn. " You really think you can claim everything I am? You're delusional. I am the god of this world! I have surpassed my parents, destroyed my imperfect siblings, and even now just watch the game unfold" The mana to her wings was cut and they shattered. No blood, no bone was visible. Just light.

She got to her feet and returned to glowing 'human' form. Due to the circle he placed, it flickered and faded in and out of existence. " I would have thought the faux High Luminary would have taught you how we work by now. You really think we would be so foolish as to go to YOU? No, you must come to us if you want to kill us"

I told you, rage will take any chance to kill you", he said as the antimagic circle disappeared and the new mana movement caused the circle underneath to activate," you see i said I put a circle underground but didn't say how big. Also the spell can't kill kuroi, she's special. So die alone", he said as hands erupt from the ground, "oh and the mana you took from me thanks for that it makes this whole process faster", he said as his mana busted through her veins and grave her heart joint it with the hands. The hands wrapped her heart and squeezed then disappeared, "sealed. Hey kuroi lets go now. He will be dead soon. Wait if he's a he then why is he in a woman's body", he said teleporting her to his side turning her to her human form, "well what ever bye Goldie. Also, you couldn't beat me in a fight, that's why you came in the first place. Enough with the surprise attacks or I will give you a taste of your own medicine", he said carrying kuroi then took a big leap with her and rage spreading out his wings then flew into a portal taking them 50 miles from sonne, "rage. Come out"

The illusion of Sonne shattered with the spell. A heart of light beat a few times before falling still. Through the air lingered her laughter. " Violent you are but the demon is of my mother's blood. That is why he will never kill me. My sister, I would love to see what's so 'special' about her"

Sonne's voice rang through Kuroi's mind. Freed from the binds, she collapsed into his arms. The chains left deep burns where they held her. Ice filled them as she tried to recover. " Sonne...was never a guy" She said softly and rested her head against him.

Her power was stolen? She was weakened? This was obvious from her forced birth but what had been removed from her memory? How much power was missing despite what she already had.
The ground burst open while she was lost in thought. From it Rage rose with his mouth open, eager to strip Kuroi away from Shinigami.

His eyes became dark with rage as he looked at him then grabed rage by the throat with his bare hands. He wasn't hurt and he squeezed and dropped him down to the grabed with force enough to break it, "I really hate people that remain dumb like you. Well it's what I get for trying to deal with a child isn't it", he said pushing his head down deeper then brought it up after Tobi took kuroi, "let's play a game. How long till I break you a second time", he said driving rage heads to his kneel breaking his horns then threw him to the ground and drop kicked him, "you wanted madness, how does it feel to be on that end", he said with a kick this time as a dark ball appeared by his hand, "sonne is already dead. I saw him destroy my spell once. As long as he still has my mana or as long as his Alive, the spell will always follow him. Oh your your mana too don't forget to tell him all that rat. You know you had my respect, you were your own warrior but you acted like a drowning child right there I was sorry I knew you were alive just watching. And I thought fear was the coward. Rage let loose a roar like an exploding mountain when his horns broke. Lava poured from the center and worked to restore them. With each blow deang the demon fed off his anger and rage, scorching more of the ground around them. By the time the attacks chilled out, Rage had grown in size.

He shook he head and growled as he forced himself up. Through the fit a single statement caught his attention. " The spell haunts Sonne with my mana too? Most amusing. Is every ounce of my mana cursed then?" He questioned with a grin. The concept of respect was lost on the demon but to be called a child again stoked his fires. A wall of flames rose around him and the ground cracked.

Pained growls were the only answer for some time while the demon glared at him. Whatever concept held Shinigami and Kuroi together left him bewildered. Even his own brothers, Greed and Fear, he competed with and would even claim if one was weak for rule and reign. Sonne was the only with a bond similar enough to give some understanding to the situation. " I would serve...kill the threats to my master...unless I was better...then I would take their power for myself...and destroy the threats to me"

His eyes were back to normal as he had calmed down, "I don't get mad for long but when I do it's enough to feed you for years to come", he said removing his had and used it to slice rages throat then got kuroi and began to transmit mana to her, "when we wake I will put a spell on your heart. Refer to anyone but me as your master and it will feel the same pain. I didn't want to do this but you want to be alone, I will give you that", he said sitting on a made throne, "oh as for your sonne, tell him I'm coming for him soon and destroy the link. Also tell him I'm taking it all away from him", he said sitting on the throne, "like I said I'm no hero"

Rage shrieked as he writhed around the ground from his heart being shattered. When his throat was slashed, his tail became a danger until his body faded to energy. " A demon you are! You should have been the Grand Demon!" The energy sank into the ground making it look like it was on fire. " No matter...the Valra is equally as cruel"

The extra mana helped Kuroi recover faster. The burns faded and her pain vanished, enabling her to sit up. How brutal one needed to be to force Rage into submission. Fear and Greed would be next but the demon of gold and silver was hers to contend with.

Let's wake up now. I have a plan", he said setting her up on his lap, "I'm taking everything away from him"

" Everything...don't become him" She rested her hand on his shoulder and closed her eyes. Eclipse would have to be told another night. The dream faded to darkness.

The beauty that had been swept away in the chaos returned with what greeted her waking mand, his heartbeat. She smiled before opening her eyes. Light filtered through the trees she placed before. The air was cool in the shade yet comfortable. In her view was her hand, human. Hadn't she fallen asleep as a fox? Her eyes widened at his ability to change her form. The night had wore on her in more ways than one. As he had warned, she felt drained. " Talk about?" She asked as she got her feet. All the chaos took its toll.

When the gloves appeared she tipped her head. Did he always have those? " Not that I really care about the demons but..." She looked towards the doorway as a fragment of the dream ran through her mind. Sonne had weaved Rage's aura with a bright green aura. " What shall you do with Rage? I don't believe you want him to exist anymore yet the way you spoke..." Concern showed when she looked at him.

He left me no choice you no", he said putting on the gloves, "your sister is going after Nasr next. She will try to take over fear or she already has. Anyway she's kinda clingy", he said as mana began to gather around the gloves and formed a circle. His eyes changed to that of the same circle. He removed the stone from the chain and dropped the chain on the table , "rage come out"
