" I feel like you are lying, kid..." Nasr sighed then looked back at his friend. The words from Keiran's captors seemed to make some sense now. " Our start point is here...time to figure out where they took him"




" What!?" She scrambled to the other side of the bed and stood. " I don't care what I agreed to in the past! You're not cutting me open without a fight!" The scythe appeared in her hand and she took a defensive stance.

" Oh this looks fun" Vaulkar stepped against a wall and smirked. " I can heal her like nothing happened but...it's your job to restrain the goddess"

He flinched at Tobi's words but stumbled backwards when he saw Shinigami's expression. After a few rapid breaths, Pavol stood straight and proud. " I'm not afraid of you! You can't hurt me! I will defeat you!"

Yuuma ran over and covered his mouth. The boy squirmed in his hold. " This is a really bad time to challenge him...please...reconsider even if you do hate this place" It took a few minutes for Pavol to calm down. At that point, Yuuma let him go.

" I still would not ignore that face" Nasr gestured towards his friend. " You used to always look for Shinigami. What poison has you marking him as foe instead of friend?"

" Why you..." He balled his fists but the earlier memories flooded back. A smile now drowned by a threat. " ...fine...I really don't know! It might be the higher power my mother spoke of but I always thought Solarium was the higher power"





How she could move like a ghost was beyond Kuroi. Ice sprang from the ground in spikes when she swung the blade in an arc. " You're not taking my eyes either! " She prepared for another attack but her bitter glare was in plain view. The glittering blizzards in her eyes were fit to freeze the castle over.

His memories consisted mostly of his time within the sunstone tower which consisted of endless hours of training and unusual lessons. Some of the lessons contained cryptic images and elemental knowledge. His mother drilled it into his mind but nothing about this higher power...unless the images contained hints?

Memories of Keiran showed their playful and harsh moments. The last he saw of his friend was training with Inei. A figure appeared behind her and drove a blade of strange mana through her. Before the boys could do anything, others appeared and grabbed them. Though hazy, one could make out the various element crystals on their necks.

Yuuma and Nasr looked at Tobi and shrugged. " We never try for one" Nasr said




The scythe hit the ground with a loud clang as she staggered backwards. The blizzard faded and her pupils shifted to slits. " I-I don't think...he would appreciate this...ah!" She fell onto the bed and covered her face. When the image didn't fade, she moved her hands.

Her pupils were large now and her face bright red. A dull shine fought with a silvery light. " He is...adorable...don't tell him..." the dull shine, along with a partial distance, took dominance in her eyes while her face turned a brighter red.

He left him alone, "useless. There's no point there's nothing there. They attacked inei first...hey Nasr can you fight", he said cracking his knuckles and a rock dropped down from a portal befriend him

" Inei too!?" Nasr forced himself to his feet. He nearly fell back down when the rock hit the ground. The power of the demon burned in his very soul and gave him strength. " Give me a small taste and I will fight like that demon" He said grinning at the stone.

" W-we're relying on a demon again!? Pardon me but...that sounds like a terrible idea..." Yuuma rubbed his horn and took a few steps back. The boy, on the other hand, ran forward. " Yay! What are we gonna do with him?"






This time the silver in her eyes became as mercury, shimmering in full sun and ready to run. " Why is he crying...w-why do I..." She grabbed her head and shook it. They felt real enough but she knew he was grown and out hunting. Still, her heart tore at the memory with no way to comfort him.

" Haha, just by memories. Bad for her but..." Vaulkar grinned at Elena. " What are you planning?"

Oh he can't hear us right now. We're going to use him to find that place. He's hoing to go there and we will go along", he said as Tobi created a golden chain

She straightened her outfit and got back up. " Since you're finished...excuse me" A quick glance was given to both before she strode towards the door.

" And your other experiments?" Vaulkar turned to Elena. His hand was stretched towards Kuroi though.

Small, fiery orbs glittered in the air, sinking into everything living. " Take comfort, the demon is no more. Return to your homes and enjoy life" A woman's voice echoed through the forest.

Embers were brushed off as Nasr got to his feet. " Hard to enjoy life when others are missing. Show yourself!" He took his were-raven form and looked about. Only silence answered.

Pavol grumbled as he got up, picking at the scorch marks in his clothing. Yuuma rubbed his head but froze when he looked up. " The crystal is gone!"





" Have fun" He said with a partial salute. " I have a few experiments I want to get back to" The dragon sank through the floor and chuckled.

Another portal was opened and Kuroi stepped through, into the depths of her castle. She held her hand out as she walked, calling the dead and shadows to rise. Human, Nyctoran, dragon, and beast alike gathered before her. " I'm heading to the core. Your job is to keep me from it until I release you"

Whispers and a menagerie of calls answered before most scattered. Those which stayed attacked but were severed in two by a silver blur. She stood, scythe in hand, looking at her work. " Too easy..." She said then ran off.

Already got her", tobi said holding the woman by her neck, "saw where the throw came from and just teleported", tobi said putting a mark on her making her stay in Poland

Though her voice was now distorted, Pavol perked up and looked about. " Aunt Celestria? Have you come to play!?"

" Aunt!?" Nasr cawed. " You knuckle head! She's here to cause trouble!"

She chuckled again but looked at Tobi this time. " No need to be so hostile. My little nephew shouldn't see such violence. I came to help. The others have been dealt with I'm afraid"





Through the castle she progressed, cutting through or using magic on each foe. The ones deeper in she had to guard against but they still fell too easily.

She soon stood at the core, glaring. It was a massive, glowing, icy blue orb cradled in beautiful crystal vines. " It's not enough!" She yelled and held her scythe to her wrist. " I can't support him if I don't get better!"

Blood flew when she slit her wrist. As it ran down her hand, she wrote runes on her body and on the floor. When finished, mana struck her right eye and created a massive shadow demon. One eye looked dead but the other held hers.

She grabbed her head as the two view points fought to be comprehended. " So...I'll fight myself"

Another confusing character. Should we just kill this one and get things over with. Like what's she friend or foe. She just released rage and claims to help. Help who pavol, give him his brother. And soon pavol will shout he doesn't have a brother out if embarrassment", shinigami said

Stop plotting the lines before they happen", Tobi said holding her up then held her upside down, "ok so the blood will flow to your brain helping you think well. Where are the two", tobi said

Nasr couldn't help but chuckle over the dress scenario while Yuuma buried his face. The kid however, he stared for a bit then rubbed his eyes. " Quit being rude to my aunt! I don't want to see her like that anyway!"

" You poor, naive fools" She chuckled. " It's amusing watching how you perceive the world around you" A glimmer of the dress flowing neatly around her ankles appeared as she seemed to brush something off. The shimmer flowed over her again and she vanished.

A few moments later, Celestria appeared behind Pavol and gave him a hug. " You're so precious being considerate of me. I'll tell them just for you, ok?" She poked him in the nose and stood back up.

He giggled and nodded. " Ok! How did you escape their magic?"

" That's my secret. Now!" She looked over all of them before saying more. " The child is...dead."

" What!?" Nasr roared. He rushed forward and buried his claws deep in her chest. She shimmered and moved again, the wound vanished.

" Now, now. If you all keep arguing like this the girl will die too. You'll find her in some old ruins where the Beast of Darkness resides"





" Excuse me for preparing a worthy opponent" Kuroi said as she turned to face Elena. Darkness flowed from the eye the shadow took. " The lesser shadows of this place pose no challenge. If I'm to grow stronger then my opponent must be as well"

Shinigami appeared behind her hand on her shoulder. His hand felt like four hundred pounds and the darkness rose around him, "we will save the girl. But I want those who killed the child. I want them dead and I want them buried, so right after you say the location of the girl, I want their names and location", he said with a serious voice this time




Then just made a rolling puppet", Elena said

She shimmered again under the weight. " Oh? It was Glira and her followers who killed him. His blood is precious after all"

" And the blood of every child your kind has chosen to slaughter!" Nasr slashed at the air with enough force to tear open some of his wounds.

" It was your kind who feasted on their bodies" Celestria said with a snide grin. " I've already said where the girl is. In the temple belonging to the beast of darkness"




" A rolling puppet..." The scythe was spun in her hand before she turned to strike the shadow. It blocked the attack and knocked her to the side. " I don't need a puppet!" Kuroi landed on her feet and struck again.
