" Wise that you don't make many promises" She sat be side him and watched as Rage mowed down the given food. " There's so many who blindly make promises and forget. Enough broken promises can shatter a persons trust, will, and soul in time" her thoughts returned that moment in the forest. It may have been a dream but the promise was made and Yuyami's antics made her feel so far even when she could touch Shinigami.

Ok. Now back to you”, he said looking at her, “eat up”, he said forcing some food into her mouth

She went cross eyed for a moment in attempt to see the food. Surprise faded into a smile and she ate was given before chuckling. " Alright...I'll get some food" she said during the chuckle. Another piece was stolen from his plate as she stood and eaten while filling another plate. When she returned, she sat in a way where he could easily reach her plate.

The last scrap of food was eaten from the portion given to Rage. He glared at the pair, huffing flames over the plate. " Sentimental fools..." He grumbled only to vanish in a puff of fire.

Oh he left before I could give him more”, he said eating a lot then looked to her, “eat till you pass out”

" More? After you gave him half your plate? I know you're hungry" She smiled while eating. Wasn't one supposed to pass out from hunger instead of eating? Despite the hot food, shivers still ran across her from time to time.

I meant it. Till you feel like throwing up”, he said, “give your body more than it needs. When you wake up tomorrow you can exercise”

" Till I..." She blinked at him a few times before smiling and shaking her head. " I suppose you'll make sure I eat my fill too" She said taking another bite.

From time to time she glanced up at him while she ate. Inside rested a feeling he would ensure she ate her fill. If not...would he put more food in her mouth? She blushed at the thought.

He finished his plate pretty quick and laid down, “and to sleep. I will try to find tobi while I’m at it”

" Don't have too much fun now" She smiled. Once her plate was empty, she took his and brought them to the kitchen to be washed. Another fruit was taken from the bowl and placed in her mouth while she gathered what was left.

"How strange this world is..." She thought. "I've seen the technologies of man through my Book of Worlds. Objects to keep food fresh yet..." She turned and glanced around the kitchen. Only cupboards and pantries surrounded the place. "Here we use magic to preserve it all"

Her hair flowed gracefully behind her when she returned to the icebox. Yet, for his sake and his happiness, another piece of meat was taken before storing the food. Both the fruit and meat were eaten quickly before she returned.

" Warm enough?" She took her kitsune form and curled around him, draping her tails across him like a blanket. " You never did get a full rest in my fur"

hmm Yeah”, he said yawning and passed out slowing. He set a mana vein to her. Before falling asleep. Again the guardians appeared. They were small this time. They watched as mana flowed around them and into him. Mana flowed from him to her through the mana vein. The more mana he absorbed the more stronger his body became and the bigger the guardians became.

It had been a long time since she saw them and, for a time, she watch as the guardians grew. Her own body warmed up from the added mana and she to nodded off before the guardians were fully grown.

The mana began to gain speed and become restless. Has he cuddled to her they calmed and went more calmly and more came.

Her wounds healed, though impossible to see under her fur. She nuzzled him in her sleep yet one ear twitched. Hiding in the flow of mana, while distant, was the heart beat she was looking for.




In the god of life's hand beat the stolen bond. While it appeared as a single ball of light and dark, mana intertwined intricately to bind their hearts and souls. " It keeps getting more complex..." he said while pulling on some of the strands. " If they keep this up he'll eradicate that curse of hers. Loyalty to one...only for another shapeshifter"

" And tell me what is the problem with that!?" Solarium snapped. " As a god you can take every form and leave him with...nothing" The bond was plucked out of his hands and waved like a hunky. " I need his kind gone!"

Hmmm yeah no”, a voice said to the two gods arguing, “I didn’t say anything because you didn’t touch his life but anymore to his clan....well what am I saying he rubbed off me, I’m going to destroy you all anyway”, the voice said as eyes stared at them sucking away their energy

Light flashed from Solarium's hand when she raised it, ceasing the drain. " Pathetic beast. The dreams have gone to your head" She scoffed and tossed the bond back to life. " Go beyond their reach" He nodded and faded in a swirl of petals and light.

" Now...to deal with my annoying pest" She turned back to the set of eyes and crossed her arms. " I wrote the end of his clan, his species long ago"

Life was brought back to where he was, “oh oh oh look is here. Lost? I will take that”, she said taking the bond, “I’m his guardian after all. And another thing refer to me as pest one more time and I will have your head. Guess why they’re still alive? This time it will only be your clothes and your pride. Ok bye”, she said as the eyes disappeared. The space cracked to show they had been taken into the middle of the busiest street and their clothes were gone. Everything

Solarium had one advantage, her sphere over everything related to the day. Light blinded those around till she could recreate her clothes. " Blood it shall be. Tear them apart if you must, take your due from her, then offer her up to..." She stared at him when she turned only to look away. " Get yourself some clothes first! Ugh"

" ...gladly..." He mumbled while looking at the gaping souls around them. It wasn't long before he vanished again.

Tobi appeared by them and fixed the connections. She was done in seconds and gave dhinigami back his immortality. She disappeared again.

A rush flowed through her with the restored bond. His heartbeat was clear now and his presence...she woke with a start, lifting her head to look around. Seeing nothing, she curled a little tighter around him and smiled. Hands reached out to her mind though and dragged her back to the dreams.
