He nodded and stepped closer to Fear. " I will return this demon to Nasr. I shall leave the rest to you" A bridle appeared on the demon's head when he reached up.
When fear dropped to the ground again, Yuuma slid his fingers under the bridle and held tight.

" We will find a way to truly isolate you from Nasr" He led the demon to his side and opened his hand. A thread of night pierced through Fear then through Nasr. Bit by bit he reattached the two halves of Nasr's soul

Ok, guess i should start”, he said absorbing the energy in fear, “ I will swallow him up. Once that’s done. We break the woman, destroy the house and send the boy to gilal. Once that’s done we can move on”, he said telling him the plan

“I will stay and see if destroying the tower changed the place for good”, the man said

Inei stood up as she watched them seal Fear away. She looked over at Ilira who was trying to break free. Yuuma's eclipse was preventing her from gaining much power. " Break!?" Ilira said with indignance. " You honestly believe I will bow to pawns like you?"

Inei rushed over and grabbed her jaw. " After what I have witnessed today, you should be happy you killed my clan"

Yuuma's focused on ensuring that Nasr's soul was fully restored. Sorrow resided on his face even after he finished.

He absorbed all the energy that was left and left the demon weak, “ what should we doff with it now”, he asked and looked at the boy, “maybe put it back to him”

Fear became transparent with it's power being drained. It's darkness slid into Nasr with the bond being completed.

Yuuma let go of the bridle now. " First his curse must be broken"

“Well, that’s the boy’s problem now”, he said pointing at Pablo, “we weakened him enough”, he said then sat down to rest, “is that luminary still alive”

“Yes”, the man replied to him, “should we change that”

“I’m thinking about it”, he replied, “ she till wants to talk?”

Inei had been sitting before Ilira, glaring. " She won't talk." She shoved on her knee to get up. " Her pride will see to that"

Ilira's eyes burned like embers as she watched Inei return to the others. " If you are quite finished!"

“Wake the kid up then”, he said sitting down on the floor an brought out his noteoo and began to write with it, “tell me the details e got”

“Hmm,kid with art and, sk the other”, the man said sitting down.

Inei crouched down and grabbed the kid, propping him up against a different tree. He might as well have been a disease the way she scowled at him. " Wake up, beast. Seems the task of answering questions has fallen to you"

Darkness flowed from her hand to snake up the boy's nose. He woke cough and shaking his head. " Ewww...what did you do to me!? Why am I-" Sol's body was stretched out across the ground behind Inei. " Dad!" He scrambled forward only to be shoved against the tree once more. " What did you do to him, monsters!?"

She raised a finger to shift it back and forth. " No, what have YOU done" She shifted to his left and stretched her arm out towards the others. She refused to say that Nasr was not dead.

“Oh hey boy, guess what, we found a solution for you to live longer”, the man said to him scratching his fingers, “so tell us, why the cold”

You killed your father yourself, autuaclly, fear did, the power you were so proud of”, he said looking at fear now and looked at him, “now answer the question , and this one too, what did they tell you. What sounded wrong”

The fact that Fear had killed his father left Pavol shaken. In moments the world he had ruled fell to it's knees and with it the very one he looked up to. His eyes glistened as he fought the urge to cry.
The mother scoffed at their ignorant questions. " You expect a boy with a shattered heart to tell you anything?" Her tail feathers slid to the side as she shifted behind her binds for better comfort.

Only the sound of the stream, animals, and the whimpering boy could be heard for awhile. " The cold...." He rubbed the tears from his eyes. " Dad said....he said....it was to line up the elements....so the magic would work"

Magic was everywhere, it worked everywhere so what magic was he talking about? Yuuma held up an eye shaped medallion and pointed at the icy blue segment. " Like this?"
Pavol looked up to see the familiar symbol and shook his head. " No, not ice. Metal. The plants had to die"

It made more sense for metal to sit next to fire but something was off. Yuuma's eyes darted back and forth as he tried to understand what was going on. " It doesn't make sense....why would you need a whole area to mine?"
Pavol played with his tail feathers now. Messing them up only to brush them neatly once more. " They are looking for something....mom said they need to find-"

" That is enough, Pavol! They know too much already" The boy shrank beneath his mother's fiery gaze. Feathers clenched so tightly that they spiked in every direction.

Ei, permission to kick that woman in the face granted”, he said writing in his note book and tore a paper for the man who took it and began to write, “mining. Metal, why”, they both said at the same time writing

“Metal, mining is worse when cold”, the man said then looked up to yuuma, “tell me what this means in full detail”

“We need all the info to move on. How does it fit their overall goal”, shinigami said writing, “ boy, I need more details, don’t worry, your mom can’t touch you”

The boy looked back and forth between his mother at the others. " But...but..."

" Just kill her....it will make his life better" Nasr crawled forward and staggered to feet. His eyes were a little distant but slowly clearing up as he returned to his humanish shape.
" Nasr you're awake?" Yuuma turned to watch him limp towards the boy. " What are you-" He quickly leaned back to dodge his talons.

Pavol pressed his back to the tree and dug furrows into the earth with his feet as Nasr drew closer. " S-stay away Valra! I-I will kill you!" His breaths so rapid and shallow that he looked like prey.

Nasr collapsed to knees before the boy and looked him in the eyes. " Listen...I do not like your kind anymore than you like mine but...." He pulled boys hands away from his feathers before starting to make them neat. " I really hate hurting children and my friend was right...not all Luminaries are bad."

He leaned back once the feathers were perfect. A most unusual thing caught the boy's attention. The eye of a single feather was dabbed with blood, something his father would do to show they were connected. " How did you know..." He said meekly as he looked up at Nasr.

" Your father...shared a few things in my dreams. Anyway..." He placed the tip of his talon to the boy's chest. " Let's make a deal. You tell me those secrets.." He tapped his ear now. "and I will learn to not label you all as monsters. Got it?"

Pavol nodded before getting up to whisper what he knew in Nasr's ear. This way his mother was left in the dark. Dark is what it was, Nasr got tense and his eyes grew massive. Once the boy stepped back, he scrambled backwards. " That is not perfection! That is frickin-"

His talons dug at the dirt as he returned to see what Shinigami had written so far. " You want secrets? They are digging for Rage. Fear is only a piece of the Grand Demon. It's cold to prevent Rage's fire from destroying the city. I always thought that was a child's story"

“Rage”, the man said a little worried

“What’s that”, shinigami asked looking clueless

“You just started?”, the man asked

“Yes”, he said then began to write again, “rage. I thought they were going for fear but rage. Now I’m confused”, he said scratching his head furiously. His horns were gone and it was like they weren’t there. His face was still cover in Trang’s of blood, “I need a nap as soon as we get done. Tell me everything nasr. But in the dream”

“Something tells me I don’t want to know any of this but I will still listen”, the man said, “but, just a little”

" They already have Fear" Nasr said with a bit of a crazed look. To make a more solid point he drew a skull from the ground. Green fire burned in it's eye sockets as it floated to his hand. It gave of a scream when he closed his fingers closed around it, turning it to mist.

Inei sighed as she forced herself off the tree she was leaning on. " Let's finish this up then. I am sick of those peacocks"

Yuuma looked over the boy but ignored the mother. In the right hands, Pavol may yet grow into a decent person. " We can tend to them" He then faced Shinigami and the others. " Details in the dreams? I know just where to put you" Magic danced in his fingers now.

“Hmm no not now”, he said, “first we get rid of that. I’ve used too much magic today, so he should do it. And.... the boy is coming with us”, he said then closed his notebook, “and questions”

Both the Luminaries and Inei looked at him with shock. " You can't be serious! After what he just did to everyone?"

Nasr stretched before walking past them to the saddles. " Unless you plan to follow us, Inei, you will not have to worry about him. Anyway I am still tired and confused so just let me get ready to go..." He picked up a saddle and wandered off to the longma.

Ilira pulled at her binds now, light threatening to break them. " How DARE you! He is my son! He will stay with me"

“Yeah you’re right he will need a mother”, he said, “ I will find one for him on the way”, he said then opened the book again, “im not leaving him with you because I’m certain he will die”

The man said nothing and stood, “bomb?”

“Here”, he said and gave him one. The man went in and came out a few minutes later, “let’s go get that drink. In 50 seconds, boom”

" 50 seconds?" Nasr said as he cinched down the saddle. A brief moment of clarity returned to him. Yuuma tagged his shoulder as he rushed past. " I'll catch up. You get them to town"

As Nasr grabbed the kid's collar, Inei grabbed both Shinigami and the other man by the shoulder. All five dragged into the darkness as though it was water.

They appeared outside the bar but this time there was a problem, Pavol.

“Is it warm yet”, he said complaining as she dragged him, “I don’t like the cold. Why are you so strong.”, he said complaining

The man kept quiet
