A single whip? How merciful of Yuyami to leave her draconic imperfections in her human form. A few slashes of her claws snapped the whip in two so she could leave her little den.

Seeing him in his fourth form once her feet touched grass again gave rise to a sense of pride and something else. Her eyes held a bitter light yet her smile was one reserved for him and him alone. " Upset that you lost me?"

She raised her hand to the sky and flicked it to point at him. Dark ice formed a cage around him while crystalline chains and shackles bound his neck, limbs, and body to keep him in place. Knowing the power he held in this form though, she had the ice reach out to attempt to steal his stone.

The orange circle appeared around them and they switched places, “ha. Haven’t used this in a while”, he said looking at his hands, “oh you will know why I hate the cold now”

Her hands were balled into fists when she growled. " Ugh! You...jerk!" The stone glowed again as she stared him down. Slowly the chill began to creep into her skin where the shackles held her. " You'll have to do better if you want me to stay put!"

The cage shattered and reformed in her hands as the scythe. It's crimson gem-edge glowed with a dark power now. He had to have a weakness somewhere that wasn't ice.

Her own mind spaced that he had clipped her dress at the start and no longer bothered to hide the blunder. His stone would be taken one way or another so she could trap him.

The scythe was swung around when she lunged forward but she used the stone to change her form into a humanoid version of her dragon self. Tail whipped around in the opposite direction to catch him between two blades while a frosty breath spewed from her mouth.

She phased through him and he flung the back of her dress up, “oops”, he said with a grin then saw the tail, “oh come on”

He ghosted!? She nearly fell on her face while trying to recover from this new trick yet when she felt her skirt flip, a devious grin showed. " Dissapointed?" The stone, embedded into the curve of the moon pendant, was swung back and forth as she turned to face him. His expression, a heartbroken pout that she perceived, was irresistible. " You want me to behave? You're going to have to make me"

Her tail swung around to split his shirt down the middle. " Or I'll continue to enjoy your adorable pouts" Shadows rose up from behind to grab his shirt while she flew towards the forest.

He got away from the shadows. He appeared in front of her smiling, “can’t run”, he said then disappeared. He appeared slashing her dress then disappeared again

The tips of her wings nearly smacked him while she tried to stop, instead causing her to fall to the ground. As she lie there, a piece of her dress floated about like a leaf until rested on her snout. She grabbed it then sat up to look for where it was clipped from only to realize her tail felt more free.

Not seeing him when she turned a few circles, her mind recalled how many times her and the others were dragged from wherever. A smirk crossed her face now. " Don't think you can hide" Darkness coated her hand as she reached up and pulled him from his hiding place. He was slammed to the ground which she promptly pinned him down, sitting on the guy while reaching for his stone. " You're mine now"

The stone was gone, “you saying that to me or my stone”, he asked with a grin, “maybe it’s down my pants. Or underground. It could be anywhere”

She paused for a moment and blinked. Suddenly her own grin appeared. " Anywhere, indeed..." She shifted to test out one of his supposed options though she was sure it wasn't that easy. " Now where is it? Hm? I'll take you both "

His lack of fight set her on edge. While his stone was missing, hers was right there with bait too tasty to pass up. The greatest challenge rested in her limited blood though; her human form was restored as she began to stand. Mana in her body was finite now.

Reality was proving far more challenging than the dreams. A branch was grabbed and she flipped herself around to perch on top. She turned to show off the holes he created in her dress. " Careful how you choose to play" She chuckled and winked at him before bolting further into the forest.

I see”, he said smiling, “shadow. Guard her”, he said then disappeared into a streak of light

With no sign of retaliation, she stopped and looked about. No footsteps, no sound of magic, just too quiet. Where was he? Her pendant glowed as she climbed back down to the ground, ready for whatever his next trick might be.

A tree at her back felt secure yet he proved even they were safe. One might thinks she was dancing how she twirled and moved about, watching the shadows.

A tree came flying towards her. It came from the from while he appeared running towards her from behind.

Her legs tensed, ready to leap back up when Shadow's voice whispered in her mind. "Turn around" As she did so darkness in the form of a dragon rose up to catch the tree. " Now drop!" It felt like pure instinct as her hands hit the grass. The tree was now thrown at Shinigami with a dark laugh.

The tree exploded when it got near him and out the smoke and chaos jumped him holding a dagger. He put it in his his mouth midair as his wings appeared and he flew towards her.

The shadow rushed forward to take atleast one wing in its jaws while she got back up. Ice spikes rose from ground and grew from what remained of the trees when she raised her hand, acting like teeth closing in on its prey. Being of human blood was still new though, staggering as she rushed off.

He grinned, “youre her avatar. Why would you go so far from her”, he said disappearing then appeared beside kuroi, “check. Luminaries would turn into light and stab you. I would catch you and kiss you”, he said grabbing her waist, “by the way my stone was underground”, he said as a cage appeared on shadow

" Immortality makes things so easy...there aren't many who would notice me running" She looked at his hands then lifted her gaze to look him in the eyes with a smile. " So much land to search for one stone"

Despite the cage, Shadow escaped by rejoining with her. He left her once more though one wouldn't notice with the shadows on the forest floor.

" You only said check..." Her smile shifted into a devious grin as her pendant glowed and turned him into a little, horned fox. She caught him before he could fall and held him close, running her fingers through his fur. "Got it" Shadow said.

He was set on the ground and she stepped away until the shadows swallowed her. " I won't give up until you put me in a check mate" She said through the link.
