Her chuckle danced through the shadows around him. " Is it cheating? Even you enjoy your tricks" Another followed in the shadows near him. Something akin to a wolf on one side and a drake on the other. Both came close enough for him to see than ran off in opposite directions. The problem was they both smelled like her.

He went after the wolf, “cheater”, he said running faster.

Another chuckle accompanied him as the wolf led him on a wild chase, weaving through the trees, jumping over logs, and crawling under fallen trees. Eventually it slid to a stop, turning sideways to reveal a horn on its forehead that looked more like a beautiful sword, then charged towards him. The blade horn was aimed for his heart but once it was close, the drake charged through, turning the wolf into wisps of darkness.

Nice of you to show yourself”, he said as he became bigger and stared her down, “things always work out don’t they”

The drake ignored him, turning back long enough to run through a leg, as if it were a ghost, before rushing off again. It weaved by a few trees and vanished into the darkness. "I never said I was either of those shadows" She chuckled. " You hid your stone, I hid myself"



She grinned as she leaned against a crystal. To continue these tricks even as a human felt great but...the light from her stone flickered and faded as she slid to the ground. The shadow drake became as smoke, eliminating the last of the false trails. His stone was held tightly yet even it's light faded. " I did it to myself...limited mana is...harsh" She muttered to herself.

Found you”, he said appearing behind her and grabbed her. The X-ray circles were on hugs eyes, “here comes the kisses attack”, he said kissing her

Barely any time was given for her register exactly what he said but it stuck just enough in her mind where she founding herself laughing. Truly, joyously laughing while he kissed her. An adorable blush appeared on her cheeks while she squirmed just enough to give him a hard time but not enough to disrupt him or escape.

He was in his human form, “that trick hit me. One second.... so the wolf was shadow. The guy keeps trying to kill me. Should name him tsunade. Seriously why do you have him as a man”

She looked up at him, still smiling, and saw the circles in his eyes. " Trickster..." Her smile became a smirk now.

His question was one she never thought about before though, and remained silent as she pondered over the answer. Nothing intimate was ever done nor considered with him. For the idea to cross her mind now made her shudder. " I...guess I like him like that...a different side of me? It's amusing seeing how others react when they know he is me" She could the uncertainty in her own voice and cringed. A piece of her knew the answer though, deep inside where shadows were left alone. It turned her stomach to knots yet she dared not look.

A hand ran along his cheek and jaw, holding his stone between two fingers but never really giving it to him. " Soon, soon we'll outshine the garish sun" She brought her hand back and rested it under her chin, hiding the stone from view. A playful light resided in her eyes now and he might find her lighter than normal. " A wild one are you? I like that but I believe we'll need to appeal to Shadow's more...riske side to convince him try" The stone was now placed between her teeth as she chuckled.

" Riske not risk" Kuroi chuckled, returning the stone to her hand before choking on it. While the boulder idea sounded truly crazy she couldn't deny his mind held some appealing ideas. " Simply put, appeal to his more adventurous and perverted side"

He placed his hands behind his head and stood like he was thinking. " A favorite outfit? Forget it being female, he'll drool for this" He chuckled now as color and form took over the shadow. Soon a female of Shadow stood behind her with a smirk. The favored outfit was put on full display with her hands behind her head. A half net shirt but since she didn't bother to feminize it, she showed it all.

He coughed surprised, “when I didn’t say when”, he said with a thumbs up, “favorite outfit I see. Wait she’s worn it before”

Shadow laughed now and his thumbs up only added to it. " I don't hear or see you whining" She circled around, deliberately playing off the situation by putting herself on display while seeming disinterested.

" Stop it or I'll be the shadow" Kuroi scolded, smacking her other self in the arm.

" Hm...no. Once the merge is finished, this will be you once again" Her stance shifted to show off her form. " Admit it. You miss flirting with the guys. Some of those games were fuuuun" Shadow draped across his shoulders now. " Do you want to know if I wore this before or...the real one" A grin appeared when she pointed at Kuroi who was blushing.

" You changed to...oh no Shadow! This is about him not me"

" Just like old times...I think I like this but this is about you both and I'm about to reveal a sweet secret to him" She stepped away from Shinigami and began dancing to an unheard beat. " Time for the truth to come out. Dare ya to show him the same spunk you showed to your harem of guys when you were in the Book of Worlds. Bet he'll love that side of you"

" Shadow!?" She clapped her hand over her mouth and turned a bright shade of red.
