The lifeline began to crack when Chaos sought release once more. With a roar, Kuroi stood up and took her dragon form. The dual dragon showed again, fighting among herself for existence.

Below Ferrin strained against the chains that bound him. A raging fire burned in his heart while fear nearly set in with the threat of being burned. Kuroi's roar was a sweet reminder that he still held that card. A pillar of light erupted from his place, blasting the demons nearby. Once it cleared, the Luminary was gone.

" I think it's time I stole his power...no we steal it" Nasr said calling skulls to his side. " Shall we see what happens when two of the grand demons combine?" He could not ignore Kuroi's roar either. A scowl showed as he watched her lifeline. "How long have they toyed with the gods?"

He looked at Nasr, "he's already gone and anyway, kuroi has something to finish.", he said sitting down and a thron of black metal appears for him, "Anyway, what's up with her"

He watched her for a few moments before looking at her lifeline. Nothing he knew about though something about it made Nasr tip his head. " Finish? What are you-...wait you said Chaos earlier"

The fierce winds continued to shatter Kuroi's lifeline as it reached for Shinigami. "They never said which demon took Lumerin's heart" He rushed forward, reaching for the fragments. A single piece brushed his hand and Kuroi's voice rang through the air. "Chaos is...Destruction and Creation...Life and Death"

"She embraced it!?" Nasr faded into shadows seconds before Chaos broke free. The last piece of the demon weaved through the dragon before approaching Shinigami. With it an offering of her life. Kuroi's roar now silenced, she collapsed on the statue's hands. The lifeline, however, was piecing itself together.

Come on", he said as his pupils turned red, "you did it you really gutted her. You think I was only talking to that piece of luminary when I said don't hurt her. Well what's done is already done", he said standing still as the statue covered kuroi

"You are scary when angry...fun." He reappeared behind the lifeline and pointed towards the healing strand. " Is it not strange that her lifeline is still here?"

A glow showed in the middle as the ends joined together. "Chaotic energy. I took some to regenerate myself. A form of immortality similar to the phoenix" Hearing Kuroi's voice caused Nasr to stagger back.

On that case get away from the wind", he said as scaled began to appear on his right hand like a dragon and claws formed. Lava and fire danced around it, "you don't want to be in the way of the target. It's high time that fool gets something through he's brain, he's.... Nasr give me a word"

"He is a demon's dinner!" Nasr chuckled at the thought then stopped. " Wait, that won't work for you." The fire and lava sparked new ideas. "That bird is beyond dead. No chaotic energy will save him" He spread his wings and allowed the wing to carry him farther away.

"I shall wait for you two in the real world" She said as her body faded away. Once healed, the lifeline dissolved and spiraled upwards.

He waited for his attacked to draw closer, "come on don't keep me waiting now"

Dual laughter filled the air moments before massive swords of light honed in on Shinigami. The largest one, in the middle was made of every precious metal and jewel. " That one...Greed. Hey!" Nasr soared upwards, taking his own chance on the new player in the game.

He jumped up at the sword and cut it in half with his right hand, "what's up wi you now Nasr", he said going back to level two

He perched on the end of the hilt as the sword tipped. There he glared at the sky, trying to see through veil. " You know how much I despise the Luminaries" the angle of the sword force Nasr to leave his post. Once it crashed to the ground Chaos circled Shinigami.

The statue had disappeared leaving him with one other option. Rage formed into a humanoid lion and clapped his hands strong enough to clear chaos over, "disrespect"

Not only did Chaos disperse but Nasr fell to the ground. He was silent for a few moments, looking at the lion nearby. Suddenly he burst out laughing. " The demon too much trouble for you? I should be careful lest my second demon is a bigger hassle"

Hey try attack ins something with no physical form", he said pointing at Nasr, "I already have his power o jut need him to stop fighting me or else he will do what fear tried with you"

" Hmm...no physical form..." He stared at the sky thinking. Ghosts didn't have a physical form yet he could mess with them all the time. A smirk showed just before he got up. " Alright my turn to help with your demon. This could get dangerous with our spectators"

He pointed upwards then shifted his fingers as if to hold something. Darkness gathered until his flute appeared in his hand. " Just be careful. I doubt Kuroi can regenerate using Chaos once you have it" Bringing the flute down, he began to play a tune. Though beautiful, the notes were quick and melodically chaotic, tuning to the energy of the demon.

Winds began to stir and swirl about them. The music stirred more than Chaos though. Nasr began to dance in that strange way of his, moving only his feet and legs. It proved beneficial as he gracefully dodged light blades and beams from above. If he could dodge them long enough the he could contain the demon for Shinigami.

He used darkness to create a shield to help block the blades, "that's a funny way to do things right", he said as rage nodded and blasted chaos once again, "what do you mean spectators "

How to answer without disrupting what he started? He wasn't sure yet but the shield gave him time to think. Watching the winds scatter again proved he had to move faster. The flames that flowed past his feet made him smile, an answer was found. "Thank you, Rage"

Once more the winds gathered, this time circling only Nasr. "Pour everything you know into this" He though as he encouraged the twister to grow. "He should understand in the end" Whether an answer to a prayer or awakening of his own power, the next step in his dance changed everything.

Time had slowed, for him atleast, as various colors of ribbons of light flowed from his feet. They flowed through the air and seemed to weave the very fabric of the dream. Each color held its own note to create a song all of its own, no, an individual song for everything. Nasr noticed that Rage, Shinigami, and even he was crafted of these ribbons. Was this mana? It seemed impossible. Only his friend knew what that was. It was a dream after all and Valra ruled the dreams. If it occured again in reality then he would rethink the possibility.

His tune now changed to match the respective song of the elemental ribbons along with the dance. If Shinigami could see what he could then perhaps he would understand?

The song caused light to build over the shield, rippling over it to a center point. It followed the swords upwards till it struck the sky. Clouds cleared and the veil weakened to reveal the spectators watching from the physical realm. Ferrin, Glira who seemed distraught, and an unknown Luminary. This one smirked, despite the hatred in his eyes, just before turning away.

A light flowed from glira. It went to shinigami and entered him. Shinigami changed to his normal look and slowly flew down, "he's gained this much strength already. You fools were too worried about the dreams and forgot your own bodies. And chaos, the mutt still resists", shinigami said as gravity increased and pushed chaos to the ground, "you're distrusting everything, everything in all. Why is he already this strong and why is rage not doing anything. Even glira seen better days", with that he looked at Nasr, "what's wrong, never seen life on its vast colors before, you know I love through them, used to. Bird boy, you're embarrassing me. I need you to yeah what's the term, get off your behinds", he said as a light flew off and forced them out of the dream world. Shinigami woke up and looked around like he lost his lungs for awhile

Before they had woken, Glira answered one of his questions. " It's Chaos, darling. Do you truly expect anything to go right when taming that demon" The pride she once held her voice was gone. Drayce was right, she was no longer the same.

Kuroi had mostly hidden Shinigami with her tails. Her ears were back but she looked off in another direction. Around them were more of those abominations. She had kept her word and protected him while he slept. When she noticed he was awake, her ears flipped forward and she looked down. " Welcome back"

In the lone tree, Nasr grabbed his head. " Augh! What did you do that for!? I almost...ngh" He rolled off the branch and fell to the ground with a thud. Bones scattered around him. It was hard to think with lightning shooting through his mind. Any questions in the dream he would answer later.

Chaos?", he asked looking at his hands and saw a spider with a tornado in its middle on his left hand, "he's mine. How and...", he asked looking at kuroi, "I guess they weren't here but they were watching", he said looking at the abominations, "chaos", he said as the mind intercepted their minds and they rode their hands to slit their own throats
