You could finally answer his call and dance with him", he said as he jumped to be bad Tobi carrying then wrapped him in blankets, "this might look very cute but he's mad about something and is punishing me. Might not look like it but this is fee tight. Oh kuroi don't forget pavol"

" Now who is being weird?" He said vanishing into shadows. They gathered by the door to form Nasr holding one of Drayce's fancy poses. " That guy is some show pony. Such a life does not suit me" The pose was broken with a shudder.

Such commotion from the spirit drew both their attention. " What did you do this time to earn that? How is that even a punishment!?" " He chuckled.
Kuroi simply shook her head. " It does look comfy. while you boys gather yourselves I shall bring Pavol to a bed. Meet me in the library when you're ready" She picked up the boy and vanished into a portal.

Well I'm hungry. Well you heard her, liabray Tobi", he said as Tobi oicked him up and floats him out through the door, "now this is getting to me", he said yawning, "oh Nasr please show Tobi the way the the liabray. Auctually let averin do it"

" Now your hungry? Well where is that ghost...." He looked around the hall as he wandered down it only to find nothing. No surprise, it was a ghost after all. A smirk showed when something crossed his mind. " You just want to get rid of me so you have Kuroi all to yourself. What was it she did....ah yes! Averin!" It began to appear as though Averin was equally as fiesty with the lack of response. Just as he sighed and was about to say something, a cold breeze blew past them.

" I didn't believe anyone other than my lady would call for me. What do you need?" Nasr jabbed a thumb in Shinigami's direction though did not look at him. " He seems eager to be rid of the living and wants you to show Tobi the library" The ghost chuckled and started to float ahead towards the library. " Very well."

Be careful, she could hear everything", he said with a grin, "also Nasr wjat were you talking about at before averin showed. Nah never mind. I just felt Tobi squeeze, I didn't say thank you. He is very petty as usual. He squeezed again", he said as his the blanket squeezed tighter, " oh yeah you have more time to practice that spell Nasr a I have time to look into some secrets"

He turned and started walking backwards to watch the scene. " Oh the goddess will freeze us for what? All I see is your spirit being strange again. I mean what is with him? He might as well be your parent with how often he scolds you. I am so glad I do not have a spirit to hound me." Turning forwards again, he picked up his pace only to peer out a window. " I will hound the both of you should you harm my lady in any way. Do not count yourself spiritless" Averin grabbed Nasr with his tail to carry him along.

With a sign he slumped over the invisible tail. " Well....so much for that thought...." He perked up again at the sound of learning spells. " I will practice more than that one spell! The library must have a wealth of spells I have not found yet" A ghost proved useless to grab and turn causing him to claw at air. " Augh....What secrets will you dig up I wonder? Maybe ones fit to send this spirit after you?"

How about one about regeneration. What's the point of living forever if you lose all your limb. If I'm correct I've seen her regenerate before...", he said then looked averin, "averin, the liabray before I loser the idea please. And Nasr, I think finding a weapon is your top priority. And no, o don't mean the flute"

" I have a weapon besides my flute" He said raising his hands in front of his face. Hiding behind the cold metal were obsidian scales and talons; natural weapons of the same style. He sighed and dropped his hands again. " Alright...I see your point. A weapon with a longer reach"

They were guided through some walls to reach the library faster. Much of the castle she had left in disarray with the exception of the rooms she used. It was a stark contrast to the luxurious rooms that she crafted for her guests. " To neglect the castle but spoil us..." Nasr tried to comprehend what would cause act that way when a new thought appeared. "...I have never seen her sleep. Does she even have a room?"

The library came into view before any answer was given. Averin placed the Valra on one of the giant tables before turning towards Shinigami. " Harming my lady for the sake of discovering regeneration is not wise"

" Averin, I harm myself already. If he seeks such power he may find that it's not so easy" Kuroi was standing on a different table with a book in her hand. " Glad you boys could make it"

Just when I thought Dhe was taking a bath", he said looking disappointed then looked at the blanket, "ok speed but not to much, I still have to read them", he said then the blanket began to move him around the liabray going from section to section then it stopped, "ok the ones here aren't really showing what I saw. You took an attack to the soul and recovered it all back after a nap", he said as the blanket loosened, "better. Well if that trait has to do with the fact that you're a god then o will drop it", he said sighing whole Tobi took him to the top of the table with kuroi and he yawned again, "I will just think about it on my dreams then", he said closing his eyes then opened them again, "pavol's father. I can't sleep knowing he expects me to meet him"

Hearing the comment, she chuckled. " I only put Pavol to bed. You don't know where my baths are anyway so tough luck" A playful tone was in her voice though she held smug grin.
His dissapointment and her statement were too much. Nasr bit his lip, placed his hands behind his back, and turned on his heel to walk away. Neat freak or planning ahead? Didn't matter, he intended to find magic and weapons before he became a guide to the baths.

Kuroi's gaze shifted between Shinigami looking through the books and the pages of the one she was reading as she listened. By the time he was placed on the table, she closed the book. " You're half right about that being a god trait. To be completely true means that my parents would still walk this world" The book was tossed into the air for Averin to put away. " The other half is complex magic that I learned long ago. There are no written records"

His attempt to dodge sleep made her chuckle. " You must sleep eventually. Best to face him now before you're cranky" Unsure of what Tobi would do, she cautiously reached for the blanket. " Your spirit was kind enough to bring you here with this. I believe you deserve a more comfy bed than this table though"

Don't worry I learnt to sleep upside down thanks to him. Later Nasr", he said trying to roll off the table but couldn't. He gave up after a few tries, " so are you going to teach me"

He noticed him walking away? This made Nasr cringe but he still waved over his shoulder. " Later" At the edge of the table he took his griffin form and flew towards the books.

" I could teach you..." She said looking about, shifting her fingers between fiddling with her pendant and resting over her heart. " Perhaps when your immortal or choose a day to do nothing" A smile returned when she looked at him. " You're still avoiding sleep so perhaps later? I have much to do to prepare for tonight after all"

Well seeing a ghost in my dreams won't give me much rest", he said as part or the table turned into blankets that began to cover him, "ok then. I will sleep. Tobi can take me to me room later", he said closing his eyes then fell asleep then opened them, "make sure he doesn't try to drown me again"

She chuckled at his response. " I shall keep you from drowning. Just relax and get some rest" For the moment she sat down near him. " Plenty of ghosts here too"


He would find the dreams different from before. Pavol was waiting by his father's side in a field of soft, wispy plants. In the distance was a simple but elegant house made of fine woods and metals. Near the house was a garden with a colorful array of crops. A most unusual scene for those known for being haughty and arrogant.

" I'm not that old" Sol stated as he approached. He did not appear as ghost in the dreams. More light radiated from his tail than when he was alive.
The sight of Shinigami buried had both of them circling. " Why did you bury yourself?" Pavol lowered his head and pecked at the ground around him to shift the soil.

Sol stood before him, leering at the one who cost him his life. " Be grateful I am not a Valra or you would have lost your eyes for what you have done" He allowed his anger to flare as white flames around him. They dwindled after a few moments and he nodded. " That is not why I called you here. My son is surprisingly still alive and for that you have my thanks. What's more is you have taken him under your wing"
He turned back around to walk towards the house. " I was taken from my group of friends when I was young. The city life is not one I desire. I wanted to thank you for freeing me even if I cannot watch my son grow. I offer..." Something made him stop. He sighed and shook his head. " Unless you desire knowledge you are free to change your dream now"

What he said caught Sol's attention. He stopped an looked over his shoulder at them. " Pavol? This true?"
The boy lifted his head and took a few steps back. " Well...Nasr hasn't hurt me so...yeah it's true. They do eat disgusting things" His feathers fluffed when he shook.

Satisfied, Sol turned back around and sat down. The gentle breeze disturbed the feathers that sat atop his head as he thought about Shinigami's suggestion. " It sounds like possession." He looked towards his son and thought about it more before refocusing.

" The city variants of my kind are power hungry. Visit my friends or their families if they have one and see the true face of the Luminaries" The memories of when he was stolen flooded back. " I was around your age when they dragged me to the cities. Other races are kidnapped and brought to the cities for the sole purpose of strengthening the bloodlines of elite clans. There are other races associated with light but the luminaries are the main ones around, I don't even think I seen another race. " Greed has been free for many generations from my understanding" He looked to the sky and thought more about it. " He has resided in his current only six years. Claimed when the High Luminary killed his father, the former host" Sol looked at Pavol again. The reality of what was said sank in and he realized just how merciful his death was.

Sol fanned his tail when he refocused on the question. Three eyes opened and stared at the ground between Shinigami and him. In those places illusions of each Light element race was formed. " My kind are deemed rulers. I believe it is because of our ability to play the grand game. The Unilas are soldiers and mystics but the these..." He said pointing to the race with kirin features. " They are illusive enough to be called a myth. Few have been caught in traps but I don't know what they with them"

Silence as he thought of the third question. Pawn master? Such a funny term indeed. " You mean the High Luminary? He goes by Venatici but that is an alias. His real name is known only by a select few. He has controlled the pieces on the board since he killed his father What other questions do you have?"
